“It’s the biggest oil discovery in 28 years! So big, Forbes Magazine said was like finding another Saudi Arabia.”

      Wealth Daily, 9.12.2004

      Dear Investor:

A tiny $7 energy company in Oklahoma has made the largest oil find in 28 years.

The size of the discovery is so staggering, Forbes said it “was like finding another Saudi Arabia.”

In fact, it’s bigger than the proven reserves of Russia, China, Libya, Nigeria, Venezuela, and the United Arab Emirates, combined!
It’s bigger than the combined reserves of Iraq and Iran, the #2 and #3 oil producers in the Middle East
It dwarfs the 180 billion barrel reserves of Canada, which is the largest oil producer second only to Saudi Arabia.
Even if the price of oil were to fall to $35 a barrel, the discovery would be worth a total of $8.75 trillion
The company that made the discovery is currently worth only $329 million, or $7 a share.
But that’s about to change, as I think this company will be a giant in the energy sector.

You see, the company already has a deal with the US Department of Defense to test and supply the military with a “single battlefield fuel,” which could mean hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue.

The deal alone with the DoD is huge, and is one of the reasons why the stock is up 367% in 2 years.

Based on my conservative estimate, I think each share is worth $28 right now, and could get as high as $185 by 2007.

I’m not the only investor who thinks the stock is a sure winner. Company insiders have purchased more than 167,000 shares of the stock just in September 2004 alone!

And the average price the stock was purchased for was $6.50 a share. Insiders know this stock could go higher, a lot higher.

This is a Revolution in Energy Similar to what we’ve seen in Coalbed Methane. My coalbed methane stocks have performed spectacularly since my recommendations. Canadian Spirit is now up 1,479% in 2-and-a-half years, and Storm Cat is up 650%.

But this discovery has the potential to be even bigger. How big?

Like I said, Forbes says it’s like finding another Saudi Arabia.

But they’re wrong. It’s bigger. Let me explain.

You see, the discovery is not really a discovery at all. It’s a technological breakthrough called gas-to-liquid conversion, and it can turn something known as “stranded” natural gas into oil.

Stranded natural gas is gas that’s been abandoned at sites because there was no economical way to transport it.

And there’s a ton of it lying around. How much?

Well consider this: In 2003, there was more stranded natural gas in the world than there was freshwater.

As much as 2,500 trillion cubic feet of it by conservative estimates.

And this $7 GTL company has the technology to convert it all into 250 billion barrels of oil.

      As you read this…

The company has development deals with the US Department of Defense, the US Department of Energy, and the nations of Nigeria and Australia.

Buses in Washington, D.C. and Alaska are running on the company’s converted fuel right now.

Scientists at the company are testing a new GTL fuel that could produce enough fuel to drive the U.S. transportation sector for 100 years.

With the price of oil well above $35 a barrel, this company is beginning to get noticed, one reason the stock has more than tripled in value in 24 months.

Insiders at the company are buying the stock hand-over-fist!
      How real is this technology?

      Judge for yourself.

In the last 18 months ExxonMobil, Royal Dutch/Shell, ChevronTexaco and South Africa-based Sasol have proposed GTL projects in Qatar, involving more than $20 billion in investments.

      That’s how serious it is.

However, even though this tiny $7 Oklahoma outfit is the leader of the pack, it’s still under the radar screen of Wall Street, another reason why insiders are buying as much as they can now.

To give you an idea of how high this tiny $7 GTL energy stock could run, take a look at a similar stock called Cheniere Energy, which is in the business of developing liquefied natural gas.

Natural gas, like oil, has experienced surging demand, while the supply remains tight. Because of this the supply/demand equation, natural gas prices have soared.

Last week, for instance, the price of natural gas made a new 52-week high. And so did the stock price of Cheniere Energy.

Now, Cheniere Energy’s stock price has risen +5,100 since late 2001.

But if you look at the fundamentals of Cheniere, you’ll understand why I’m so bullish on our $7 GTL stock.

For the past twelve months, Cheniere has generated revenues of just $1.42 million. That’s not exactly blockbuster. Especially when you consider that Cheniere trades for $52 a share, with a market cap of $994 million.

That’s right, Cheniere trades for nearly $1 billion in market cap on just $1.42 million in revenues. To put it another way, Cheniere trades at a price-to-sales ration of 700. For every $1 the company generates in revenue, the market awards it $700 in valuation.

That might seem nuts. But considering that I think energy will be the most important investment issue of our lifetime, the party is just beginning in these stocks.

If our unknown $7 GTL company traded at the same ratio, its stock price would be worth $185 a share.

I’ve put together a special report on this stock called “Make 400% off the Next Saudi Arabia.”

You can get a FREE copy of “Make 400% off the Next Saudi Arabia,” by visiting the Pure Energy Report, my new investment service that focuses exclusively on emerging energy stocks.

And I urge you to do so if you’re interested in making money in the energy sector. This GTL technology is a revolution very similar to the revolution we’ve witnessed in the coalbed methane market.

In fact, I think this GTL stock has the potential to make our gains in CBM stocks look like little water puddles. To learn more about the technology and the investment opportunity, visit here now!

Syntroleum Advances Nigerian Development with New Partners

      Syntroleum Corporation 1/13/2005

Syntroleum Corporation has finalized agreements to begin the appraisal of the Aje discovery offshore Nigeria located in Oil Mining Lease 113. The agreements are with the following companies: Lundin Petroleum, a publicly traded Swedish exploration and production company who will serve as technical advisor to the project; Challenger Minerals Inc., a subsidiary of GlobalSantaFe Corporation, one of the largest international drilling contractors; Providence Resources PLC, a publicly traded Irish exploration and production company and Howard Energy Co., Inc. and Palace Exploration Company, both privately owned U.S. exploration and production companies (the "Participants") and Yinka Folawijo Petroleum Co. Ltd., the Nigerian firm which holds the rights to Oil Mining Lease 113. In selecting these companies to participate in the Aje appraisal, Syntroleum has assembled the required technical assistance for the project. Together, the Participants and Syntroleum will carry out terms of the Joint Venture Agreement between Syntroleum and Yinka Folawijo Petroleum Co. Ltd.

The agreements call for the Participants to pay Syntroleum a signing bonus and to pay a promoted cost to drill and test one appraisal well in the Aje discovery and one option well in order to earn 67.5% of Syntroleum`s participating interest in OML 113. Additionally, upon commencement of commercial production, the Participants shall pay a development bonus to Syntroleum.

"These companies will be an outstanding team for Syntroleum," stated Jack Holmes, President and Chief Executive Officer. "Lundin is experienced in the type of oil and gas field we are beginning to appraise at Aje. Challenger, through its affiliate, Applied Drilling Technology Inc. (ADTI), has unique drilling and service capabilities and collectively the Participants are able to move quickly and efficiently in the implementation of field development plans. Furthermore, the Participants and Syntroleum expect that Aje, a previously discovered oil and gas accumulation, will become an ideal application for Syntroleum`s marine based GTL technology."

Scheduling of the first appraisal well (Aje-3) will be finalized following the formal assignment of interest by the government of Nigeria to Syntroleum and the Participants. Drilling is expected to begin the second or third quarter of 2005. Syntroleum believes the Aje-3 well has the potential to confirm large commercially viable crude oil and condensate volumes as well as natural gas reserves sufficient for Syntroleum`s marine GTL installation.

The OML 113 license covers approximately 454,000 acres located off western Nigeria near the border with Benin.

Syntroleum Corporation owns a proprietary GTL process for converting natural gas or synthesis gas into ultra clean synthetic liquid hydrocarbons. The company plans to use its technology, as well as other third party gas processing technologies, to develop and participate in gas monetization projects in a number of global locations.

Qatar Leads the Green Gas-To-Liquids Fuel Drive

      by Meena S Janardhan

DUBAI, Mar 3 (IPS) - With about 15 percent of the world`s proven gas reserves, Qatar, now, has taken the lead global role in pioneering `gas-to-liquids` (GTL) projects. Clean `green` diesel will be one of the main products from these GTL projects and it is expected to be the preferred choice of environmentally conscious governments in the future.

By 2015, GTLs could meet three percent of world diesel demand. A recent study has predicted that demand for middle-distillate GTL fuels will grow to 6.26 million barrels per day (bpd) by 2010.

In a press statement, Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, Qatar`s second deputy premier and minister of energy and industry, said, ``Within a few years, Qatar will emerge as the world`s largest liquefied natural gas (LNG) exporter, a global hub of GTL products and the largest supplier of petrochemical industries. Our total gas reserves now rank second in the world.``

Qatar produces nearly 18 million tonnes of LNG per year, and its current output is set to more than quadruple to 77 million tonnes per year by 2011. The Arab Gulf nation sees GTL as an option to exploit its vast natural gas reserve potential.

``Qatar has launched an eight-year investment drive in the state-owned Ras Laffan Industrial City, which lies 80 kilometres north of Doha, Qatar`s capital city. The drive is valued at more than 50 billion U.S. dollars,`` said Martha Gomes, a Dubai-based oil and gas consultant. ``This programme will consolidate Qatar`s position as the global hub for GTL production and triple its LNG output.``

``Building GTL plants in Qatar could bring in as much GTL as 500 million bpd. GTL products are seen as extremely valuable, especially if oil stays around 40 U.S. dollars a barrel,`` she told IPS in an interview.

Qatar has, in fact, commissioned the world`s largest GTL project, which is currently under construction and being built by the oil giant Shell at Ras Laffan.

``This first world-scale project is an important milestone in establishing Qatar as the GTL capital of the world and is supporting the economic development of Qatar,`` said Al Attiyah.

While signing the agreement, Royal/Dutch Shell Chairman Philip Watts said in a press statement, ``These are not just any old middle- distillate fuels, but uniquely clean fuels with a vital role in reducing engine emissions and supporting advances in vehicle technology. They are the fuels of the moment, contributing to a sustainable future.``

Shell plans a two-phase development of the Ras Laffan GTL plant. The first phase, producing some 70,000 bpd, will go online sometime in 2008 or 2009. The second phase will be finished less than two years later.

The Qatar plant will, therefore, produce a new range of clean and versatile products which will offer significant environmental and performance benefits. At full capacity, the operation will produce 140,000 bpd of GTL products -- primarily transport fuels and naphtha (which is used in producing synthetic natural gas).

GTL technology converts LNG into clear, colourless, biodegradable fuels that can be used in normal diesel engines and can also be blended into conventional diesel fuel. The fuels contain no sulphur, aromatic compounds or metals, producing emissions far lower than conventional fuels. Studies have shown GTL fuels lowering carbon-monoxide and nitrogen-oxide levels by 50 percent, particulate matter by 66 percent, and hydrocarbon emissions by 600 percent.

World gas demand is expected to grow faster than the other energy forms, especially in power generation. In 2000, the demand was 2,442 billion cubic meters (bcm); forecasts suggest that this demand will rise to 3,282 bcm in 2010 and 4,030 bcm in 2020.

Currently, gas constitutes around 24 percent of the total global energy demand, while oil accounts for 40 percent and coal the remaining 26 percent. However, by 2010, natural gas is expected to climb to second place, surpassing coal.

``Around 70 percent of the world gas reserves is far placed from the markets. LNG and GTL are the only real options to place large volumes of the gas into the market,`` said Ronnie Thomas, the trading manager of a Dubai-based oil company.

``Next generation GTL will nearly be competitive with next generation LNG. In terms of both investment against gas consumed and investment against energy delivered, next generation GTL plants should have an edge over next generation LNG facilities and offer promise of better returns,`` he added.

According to oil and gas consultant Gomes, ultra- clean fuels produced with GTL technology offer the potential for significant cost savings compared to fuels made from crude oil via conventional refining methods.

``For example, at a capital cost of 20,000 dollars per barrel of daily capacity, production of synthetic fuels from GTL would cost approximately 14.35 dollars per barrel, compared to 19.56 dollars per barrel for fuels produced by conventional means - a 26 per cent saving,`` she said. ``And this doesn`t include the savings you make in on the environmental side.``

One of the first GTL plants launched by Qatar was a joint venture with Sasol International Ltd of South Africa. The plant produces about 33,000 bpd, comprising approximately 24,000 barrels of GTL diesel, 8000 barrels of GTL naphtha and 1000 barrels liquefied petroleum gas.

Qatar has also signed other GTL projects worth more than 20 billion U.S. dollars and four major proposals are said to be on the negotiating table. A deal for a seven billion U.S. dollar GTL plant has also been signed between Qatar and Exxon Mobil Corporation subsidiary, ExxonMobil Qatar GTL Ltd.

``The large gas reserves in Qatar, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Canada and Alaska are awaiting the development of new transport technology to bring their reserves to market,`` Gomes pointed out.

She said until recently, there were only two practical ways of transporting natural gas: flow it through a pipeline in gaseous form or chill and transport it as LNG.

``GTL technology chemically converts natural gas into clean-burning liquid products that can be easily shipped to market. Qatar is taking the lead role in the region in promoting this technology and will soon be the leader in this field,`` revealed Gomes.

Qatar On Track to Be Major Hub for Gas, Petrochemicals

by Gulf Times, BBC Monitoring Middle East 3/8/2005

Qatar`s emergence as a major power in gas and petrochemicals was again in the spotlight with Qatar Petroleum and RasGas accounting for six major deals in Doha in a record four-day period last week.

QP teamed up with Royal Dutch/Shell for Qatargas expansion (Qatargas-IV) and a world scale ethane cracker plant, both at Ras Laffan. Qatar`s flagship energy company had partnered France`s Total and US-based ExxonMobil for an LNG export project and with India`s ONGC Videsh for the development of an offshore oil field - Najwat Najim. QP and Sasol-Chevron inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for a joint venture to produce base oils at Ras Laffan. RasGas clinched a deal with the Belgium-based Distrigas for the supply of about 2.05mn tonnes annually to the Zeebrugge Terminal for a 20- year period from 2007.

While the exact value of these deals is not known an analyst yesterday said, "it could be clearly in excess of 10bn dollars".

When asked about the expected investment in Qatar`s hydrocarbon sector over the next five years, the Second Deputy Premier HE Abdallah Bin-Hamad al-Attiyah said he could not give a specific figure as projects were being added constantly.

"The figure I give you now may become redundant tomorrow. As we get along, more projects will be added with an inevitable change in the investment level," he said.

The analyst said what was really significant was Qatar`s boldness to take up projects simultaneously. As a matter of fact, international financiers did not hesitate to fund energy projects in Qatar these days due to the state`s clean track record on project implementation within time and budget as well as its capacity for debt clearance within the specified time. Qatar`s political stability is another major catalyst for corporate investments in the state`s hydrocarbon and industrial sectors, he opined.

Under the QP-Shell agreement for Qatargas-IV, LNG supplies to North America and Europe would commence in 2010. The project comprises the integrated development of upstream gas production facilities to produce 1.4bn cu ft a day of gas and substantial quantities of associated liquids from the North Field. Trains being set up under Qatargas-IV will have an annual capacity of 7.8m tonnes each.

QP`s tie-up with France`s Total and US-based ExxonMobil would also serve to market Qatargas LNG in North American and European markets. Under the deal, Total would invest 3.5bn dollars in Qatargas-II including 1bn dollars for a 16.7 per cent stake in it. QP will have a 65 per cent stake in Qatargas-II while ExxonMobil will own 18.3 per cent. Total will be committed to buying up to 5.2m tonnes of gas annually from Qatargas-II over a 25-year period.

RasGas` deal with Distrigas will ensure the supply of 2.05m tonnes annually from the gas major`s Ras Laffan facility to the latter`s Zeebrugge Terminal in Belgium from 2007. RasGas-II will make available the LNG required for Distrigas either from its Train 4 or Train 5 and deliver it to the Zeebrugge Terminal on an ex-ship basis. RasGas-II comprises of three trains (Train 3, 4 and 5) with a 4.7m tonnes annual capacity each.

The petrochemical deal concluded between QP and Shell Chemicals will facilitate the establishment of a 2bn dollar world scale ethane cracker and derivatives complex at Ras Laffan. The ethane cracker with a projected 1.3m tonnes annual capacity may go on stream in early 2010.

QP`s foray into the development of another offshore acreage has resulted in an appraisal, development and production sharing agreement (ADPSA) with Indian petroleum major ONGC Videsh. QP and ONGC Videsh would jointly launch a two-year work programme for developing Najwat Najim, the offshore oil field east of Qatar. During the "initial appraisal phase" technical studies, seismic reprocessing and drilling wells will be taken up. Najwat Najim oil structure spreads over a 120 sq km area, located within one of the world`s most prolific systems, is estimated to hold 300mn barrels of oil reserves.

The base oils project, a result of a QP-Sasol Chevron joint venture, may go on stream in 2008. Base oils are used for blending high quality lubricants. It will be the largest gas-to-liquids (GTL) facility outside South Africa.

The analyst said Qatar was well on track to become a major hub for LNG and GTL by the decade-end. By 2012 Qatar`s LNG output will almost quadruple to 77m tonnes a year from the current 20m tonnes annually. "Currently some four oil and gas majors are talking to QP for GTL projects at Ras Laffan. There are good prospects for their establishment at the industrial city," he added.

(NASDAQ: SYNM) is in the business of monetizing remote and/or stranded natural gas. It is the developer, user and licensor of the Syntroleum® Process, a proprietary process for converting natural gas (or synthesis gas from coal) into ultra clean liquid fuels like Diesel and Naphtha - a process generally known as gas-to-liquids (GTL) technology. Syntroleum employs its technology to acquire equity in oil and gas development projects where GTL can be critical to a project`s success. Syntroleum also licenses the Syntroleum Process to others. Syntroleum`s unique air-based GTL technology offers attractive solutions to monetize natural gas reserves (including flared gas) that are not economic to produce using traditional methods. The air-based technology enables Syntroleum to target gas reserves in the range of 1-3+ trillion cubic feet which are too small for LNG projects or world scale GTL projects.

      hi looe, optibull

      Hi Fans ,

Was springt für SYNT dabei raus?

      Syntroleum Announces First Quarter Results

TULSA, Okla., Apr 26, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Syntroleum Corporation (Nasdaq:SYNM) today announced unaudited financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2005. First quarter 2005 revenues were $0.3 million compared to total revenue of $5.9 million for the first quarter of 2004, which included the final liquidation of catalyst materials in the amount of $5.7 million. The company reported a net loss for the first quarter of 2005 of $11.6 million, or ($0.24) per share. This compares to a net loss of $6.4 million, or ($0.16) per share, in the first quarter of 2004. The Company`s 2005 first quarter loss was affected by non-cash equity compensation expense related to restricted stock and warrants issued to employees and consultants of $3.0 million compared to $0.8 million for the same quarter in 2004.

The Company`s cash balance at March 31, 2005 was $89.3 million compared to a cash balance of $31.6 million at Dec. 31, 2004. The increase in cash is due to an offering of 7,000,000 shares to Legg Mason Opportunity Trust resulting in proceeds of approximately $70.0 million. The Company invested $2.3 million in oil and gas properties in the United States and Nigeria related to drilling, land and lease acquisitions, and geological and geophysical evaluations during the quarter ended March 31, 2005.

"This was a successful quarter of execution on our business plan," said Jack Holmes, President and CEO. "With our strategy and management team in place -- and with important milestones this quarter in the areas of operations, financing and business development -- we will remain focused on execution. This quarter our Catoosa facility completed the production of 200,000 gallons of GTL products. In April, we received approval from the Federal Government of Nigeria to move forward on the Aje project, which earned us a $5.7 million cash payment from certain of our project participants. We received $70 million in financing from Legg Mason -- which we anticipate to be enough capital to meet our general corporate cash requirements into 2007. Subsequent to the end of the first quarter, we formed a stranded gas venture to help advance our projects which includes a $40 million commitment from Dorset Group Corporation and a $10 million commitment from an additional investor."

The Company incurred expenses for the quarter ended March 31, 2005 of $4.3 million related to research, development, and engineering programs, including $2.2 million of expenditures at its Catoosa Demonstration Facility, compared to $4.0 million for these activities the quarter ended March 31, 2004. General, administrative and other expenses for the quarter ended March 31, 2005 were $4.5 million, compared to $4.0 million of general, administrative and other expenses for the quarter ended March 31, 2004.

Syntroleum Gas Needs In Nigeria May Not Be Met

      http://news.morningstar.com/news/DJ/M06/D21/200506211323DOWJ…

LONDON -(Dow Jones)- The world`s first offshore gas-to-liquids project, Syntroleum Corp.`s (SYNM) Aje GTL barge in Nigeria, may not get the gas it needs, a top official at the country`s state-run oil company said Tuesday.

Syntroleum, alongside a host of local, independent power producers, are likely to be squeezed on gas supplies due to demand from far larger liquefied natural gas projects run by the likes of Chevron Corp. (CVX).

"We are struggling to meet demand for gas," Philip Chukwu, group general manager for the Nigerian National Petroleum Corp. (NNP.YY) told Dow Jones Newswires.

However, Syntroleum spokesman Mel Scott said the company`s GTL barges still have a place because they can be brought closer to gas reservoirs, eliminating the need for a lot of infrastructure.

Nigeria is the world`s seventh-biggest exporter of crude and has ambitions to rival the Persian Gulf in exporting liquefied natural gas to the U.S. and Europe.

But the country lacks much of the costly infrastructure needed to pipe gas away from the fields where it is produced to where it is needed. Currently, most gas in Nigeria is flared off.

Chukwu said supplying gas for export from Nigeria`s big LNG projects is a priority and won`t be affected by any near-term shortfalls.

There are a raft of plans to tap into Nigeria`s natural gas reserves, which are among the top-ten largest in the world, and the biggest in Africa.

Currently, Nigeria is exporting LNG from the Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas Corp. on Bonny Island, a joint venture between the government, Royal Dutch/ Shell (RD,SC), Total (TOT) and Eni (E). A sixth LNG trains will be completed by 2007.

ConocoPhillips, Chevron (CVX), and Eni (E) are building the Brass River LNG plant. And Chevron is also looking at building another plant at OK-LNG at Olokola in western Nigeria. Chevron`s Escravos GTL plant is scheduled to come on-stream in 2006.

But Nigeria hasn`t developed the gas reserves to supply many of the smaller independent power plants the government has encouraged as a way to expand the country`s undeveloped electricity grid.

Other projects that may not get the gas they want include a methane plant proposed for Lagos.

Chukwu also said Nigeria may not have the gas to supply Syntroleum which is looking for feedstock for a yet-to-be-built offshore gas-to-liquids plant.

Syntroleum is a partner in the Aje oil and gas field along with Challenger Minerals Inc., Howard Energy Co., Palace Exploration Co., and Providence Resources PLC (PRR.DB).

Syntroleum wants to use oil revenue from the field to underpin its GTL project, which it says would be the world`s first offshore GTL facility. But it wants to supplement gas flows from Aje with more from the NNPC.

Separately, Chukwu said Shell will miss a state-set deadline to end gas flaring by 2008 because it is focusing on oil development.

Shell recently said it would miss the deadline because the government had underfunded its share of their joint venture operations.

Syntroleum Schedules Conference Call to Announce Aje-3 Well Results

TULSA, Okla., Oct 03, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Syntroleum Corporation (Nasdaq: SYNM) announced that it has scheduled a conference call to announce the Aje-3 well drilling results. The call will take place at 11 a.m. Monday CDT.

Syntroleum`s senior management will review the results. Callers may listen to the live presentation by dialing 1-800-374-0756 and entering conference number 1158492.

The following is a release issued by Lundin Petroleum AB discussing the results.

Update on Aje-3 Appraisal Well in Nigeria

Lundin Petroleum AB ("Lundin Petroleum") would like to announce that the appraisal well Aje-3 has reached its target depth at 8482 feet (2,600 meters). The well reached its reservoir objectives as anticipated and a detailed logging programme was acquired and interpreted. The Aje-3 well will be plugged and abandoned.

The two main reservoirs, the Turonian and the Cenomanian, which tested hydrocarbon successfully in both Aje-1 and Aje-2 were found to be significantly down dip from the discovery well as well as below the existing oil water contact defined in Aje-2 at the Cenomanian level. The Turonian reservoir interval in Aje-3 was above the gas water contact encountered in both Aje-1 & Aje-2 but the presence of gas in the reservoir could not be tested due to poor reservoir properties at the Aje-3 location.

Ongoing interpretation of the newly acquired data will evaluate the Aje structure as well as the remaining potential in Block OML 113. All three wells on the Aje structure have proven the existence of an active petroleum system and the presence of a well developed reservoir and seal in the block.

Ashley Heppenstall, President & CEO of Lundin Petroleum, comments: "The results of the Aje-3 well will be incorporated in the overall technical & economic evaluation of the Aje structure. The area within block OML 113 remains prospective from an exploration and development perspective. We will continue to invest in areas with proven petroleum systems where there has been limited activity over recent years and we believe that such a strategy will deliver good returns to our shareholders over time."

Participants in Block OML 113 are Yinka Folawiyo Petroleum Company Limited (Operator), Lundin Petroleum, Palace Exploration Company, Challenger Minerals (Nigeria) Limited, Providence Resources P.l.c., Howard Energy Co. Inc. and Syntroleum Corporation. Lundin Petroleum acts as technical advisor to the Operator.

Syntroleum Reports Agreements in Business Development Activities in Papua New Guinea, Indonesia and Egypt
Thursday November 17, 12:09 pm ET

TULSA, Okla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 17, 2005--Syntroleum (Nasdaq:SYNM - News) announced that three recently signed memorandum of understandings (MOU) could lead to the construction of a gas-to-liquids plant using its proprietary Fischer-Tropsch technology.

Syntroleum signed a MOU with the Government of Papua New Guinea to examine the development of a 50,000 barrels per day GTL plant as part of an industrial complex dedicated to gas-based industries near the capital city of Port Moresby. As part of the MOU, Syntroleum will work with the government of Papua New Guinea Ministry of Planning and Development to study the feasibility of a large GTL plant that would share a natural gas pipeline and infrastructure facilities with various other possible gas conversion participants, including ammonia, methanol and power plant developers.

Proved and probable natural gas reserves in Papua New Guinea are estimated to be more than 15 trillion cubic feet. Approximately six trillion cubic feet of natural gas reserves are currently dedicated to a planned pipeline linking Papua New Guinea to Australia. Additionally, Syntroleum has had discussions with several gas reserve holders in Papua New Guinea regarding gas supplies to a GTL plant.

Syntroleum signed another MOU with PT ELNUSA, a subsidiary of the Indonesian state-owned company Pertamina. The MOU establishes a joint study to identify suitable existing gas reserves for development of a Syntroleum GTL facility.

"The memorandum of understandings we have signed with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Petroleum Sir Moi Avei, of Papua New Guinea, and with PT ELNUSA, show the increasing focus from governments and companies alike on GTL as a means to develop stranded gas reserves," said Jack Holmes, president and CEO of Syntroleum. "Our air-based technology is well suited for gas reserves in the two-to-five trillion cubic foot range which are the targets of the MOUs."

Additionally, Syntroleum licensee Ivanhoe Energy (Middle East) Inc. signed a MOU with Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) to prepare a feasibility study to construct and operate a GTL plant using the Syntroleum® Process. Ivanhoe has announced that EGAS has agreed to commit up to 4.2 trillion cubic feet of natural gas, or about 600 million cubic feet per day for the anticipated 20-year operating life of the proposed project if the study validates the economics of the project. The results of the study could lead to the construction of a GTL plant using Syntroleum`s technology. Ivanhoe Energy holds a master license for Syntroleum`s GTL technology.

"Recent advances in Syntroleum`s catalyst makes the potential for developing a GTL plant in Egypt more attractive," said Leon Daniel, Ivanhoe Energy`s president and CEO. "We`ve been a long-time licensee of Syntroleum`s industry-pioneering technology and are ready to move this project forward as quickly as possible."

Ivanhoe Energy and EGAS will enter into negotiations for a definitive agreement for the development of a project if the feasibility study indicates that a GTL plant is economically viable. The study will be performed in collaboration with Syntroleum`s engineering staff.

This document includes forward-looking statements as well as historical information. Forward-looking statements include, but are not limited to, statements relating to the impact of the energy bill on Syntroleum and the coal-to-liquids industry, the testing, certification, characteristics and use of synthetic fuels and alternative fuels, the Syntroleum Process and related technologies and products, GTL or coal-to-liquids plants using the Syntroleum Process, government support for the construction and operation of such plants, the economic use of such plants and the continued development of the Syntroleum Process. When used in this document, the words "anticipate," "believe," "estimate," "expect," "intent," "may," "project," "plan" "should," and similar expressions are intended to be among the statements that identify forward-looking statements. Although Syntroleum believes that its expectations reflected in these forward-looking statements are reasonable, such statements involve risks and uncertainties and no assurance can be given that actual results will be consistent with these forward-looking statements. Important factors that could cause actual results to differ from these forward-looking statements include the potential that commercial-scale GTL plants will not achieve the same results as those demonstrated on a laboratory or pilot basis or that such plants will experience technological and mechanical problems, the potential that improvements to the Syntroleum Process currently under development may not be successful, the impact on plant economics of operating conditions (including energy prices and government support for such plants), construction risks, risks associated with investments and operations of GTL and coal-to-liquids plants, the ability to implement corporate strategies, competition, intellectual property risks, Syntroleum`s ability to obtain financing and other risks described in the company`s filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Syntroleum Corporation (Nasdaq:SYNM) today announced unaudited financial results for the year ended December 31, 2005. The Company reported revenues for the 2005 fiscal year of $7.9 million, resulting from joint research development activities with the United States government and with licensees and from gas-to-liquids ("GTL") fuel sales. Revenues reported for the year ended December 31, 2004 were $6.6 million, which included the sale of catalyst materials in the amount of $5.7 million. The Company reported a net loss for the year ended December 31, 2005 of $41.0 million, or ($0.77) per share. This compares to a net loss of $42.6 million, or ($0.98) per share, for the year ended December 31, 2004. The 2005 net loss is a result of continuing research and development studies; operations and modifications of the Catoosa Demonstration Facility and the Tulsa Pilot Plant to assist with commercial plant development; non-cash equity compensation charges; and non-cash depreciation, depletion, amortization and impairment charges.

The Company`s cash and cash equivalents balance at December 31, 2005 was $69.7 million, reflecting the receipt of $81.8 million during the year from the sale of common stock and from option and warrant exercises. This compares to a cash balance of $31.6 million at December 31, 2004. The Company invested $13.7 million in oil and gas properties in Nigeria and other countries related to drilling, land and lease acquisitions, and geological and geophysical evaluations during the year ended December 31, 2005.

Syntroleum & Bluewater Form Joint Venture
      Bluewater Energy 3/6/2006

      http://www.rigzone.com/news/article.asp?a_id=30003

Syntroleum Corporation has signed a letter of intent to form a joint venture with Bluewater Energy Services B.V., intended to develop and finance the building of the world`s first air-based gas-to-liquids (GTL) plant on an offshore floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel that could also produce oil and offer storage capabilities.

The purpose of the joint venture is to develop, construct, own and operate GTL/Oil FPSO vessels. The companies are working together to identify projects that will allow the joint venture to participate in the upstream development of oil and gas reserves and the downstream processing of those at offshore locations. A detailed feasibility study conducted by the companies has addressed a design of up to 17,000 barrels per day of Fischer-Tropsch (FT) products, 40,000 barrel per day of crude oil, and 10,000 barrels per day of condensate on a FPSO vessel, which would include around 2.3 million barrels of storage capacity. The GTL/Oil FPSO study follows Syntroleum`s work with its GTL barge concept for shallow water.

The terms of the joint venture contemplate that both Bluewater and Syntroleum will contribute equity to the financing of the first vessel. Together, they are identifying equity partners to participate in development of this business model and the financing of the first GTL/Oil FPSO. "This is a significant step forward for both companies as we leverage our combined expertise, and Syntroleum`s air-based GTL technology is seen as the key," said Jack Holmes, president and CEO of Syntroleum. "There are numerous offshore gas discoveries in the one-to-three trillion cubic foot range where we can add significant value using this FPSO technology."

By using this GTL/Oil FPSO technology concept, companies can develop offshore gas reserves that otherwise would be uneconomical and in the process avoid costs of reinjection of natural gas back into the reservoir. Both companies expect that engineering, design and construction costs will decrease for successive vessels, which has occurred with other new processing technologies as with liquefied natural gas. Furthermore, Syntroleum continues to make significant strides in advancing and improving its technology. In 2005, as a direct result of work at its Catoosa Demonstration Facility, Syntroleum was able to increase its single train capacity from 12,000 barrels per day to 17,000 barrels of ultra clean products per day. Recent experience at the plant indicates the company can achieve a rate of up to 25,000 barrels per day of GTL products in a single train.

"Continued operation of our facilities has allowed us to improve our technology and increase throughput efficiencies. This increased capacity is very important in any plant, but particularly for a ship-based design where deck space is limited," Holmes said.

Bluewater has been developing and operating FPSO vessels around the world since 1985. Its FPSO contracts include numerous projects that manage oil, water and gas separation; gas handling, water injection and power generation; as well as offshore storage, offloading and export tanker management. Bluewater also is a leader in the design of mooring systems for the safe transportation of produced oil and gas from the wellhead to production vessel, and from floating storage to export tankers.

"Bluewater is a leading designer, builder, owner and operator of FPSO vessels, which are used in the production and transportation of recovered oil and gas at some of the most challenging offshore locations in the world," said Bluewater President Hugo Heerema. "Bluewater is excited to participate in the development of ultra clean fuel for which we foresee worldwide strong demand."

Syntroleum and Bluewater expect this 50/50 joint venture to be the first step in forming an equity group to participate in the financing of offshore GTL production and storage projects. The formation of the joint venture is subject to negotiation and execution of definitive agreements.

Bluewater Energy Services B.V. is a member of the Bluewater Group of Companies that has built a technological lead specializing in lease and operation of tanker-based production and storage systems, and has become a leading provider of Single Point Mooring systems. Bluewater operates worldwide with offices in The Netherlands, United Kingdom, United States, Nigeria, Angola, South Africa, Singapore and China.

Syntroleum Corporation owns a proprietary GTL process for converting natural gas or synthesis gas derived from coal into synthetic liquid hydrocarbons. The company plans to use its technology, as well as other third party gas processing technologies, to develop and participate in gas and coal monetization projects in a number of global locations.

      hey,

Syntroleum to Drill Aje-4 Appraisal Well Offshore Nigeria
      http://www.rigzone.com/news/article.asp?a_id=36890" target="_blank" rel="nofollow ugc noopener">http://www.rigzone.com/news/article.asp?a_id=36890

Syntroleum along with Challenger Minerals, Providence Resources, Energy Equity Resources Ltd, Yinka Folawiyo Petroleum ("YFP") have agreed to pursue the drilling of an additional appraisal well (Aje-4) on OML 113 off the western coast of Nigeria. Lundin Petroleum and Palace Exploration Company have opted not to participate in the drilling of Aje-4. As a result, YFP, the Nigerian firm which holds the rights to OML 113, and Syntroleum are in active discussions with several additional companies interested in joining the participant group. Under the original joint venture agreement with YFP, Syntroleum and its partners have until April 5, 2007 to commence drilling the Aje-4 well, subject to rig availability. The Aje field was discovered in 1996 with the drilling of the Aje 1 and 2 wells which tested a combined rate of 6255 bpd of oil and 1729 bpd of condensate and 66.7 million cubic feet of gas per day. Since the drilling of the Aje-3 well, the participant group has re-processed the 3-D seismic and conducted a new evaluation of the reprocessed data. This work combined with the results of the Aje-3 well have led to agreement among those participants who have elected to pursue an additional well on the proposed location for the Aje-4 well.

"We are encouraged by current discussions with other experienced companies that may be interested in working with us in Nigeria," said Jack Holmes, president and CEO of Syntroleum. "Syntroleum, Challenger Minerals, Providence Resources, Energy Equity Resources Ltd and YFP are optimistic about the commercial prospects of Aje-4."

"We believe the Aje field is a commercial discovery which can be economically developed due to the rapidly improving gas market in Nigeria and the rich yield of condensate and LPG in the gas," said Tunde Folawiyo, managing director of YFP. "We look forward to working with the existing group and their new partners to expedite the development of this asset."

      B-52-Bomber mit Biomasse-Sprit
      von Volkmar Michler, Profit-Radar 6.10.2006

In meinem Profit Radar vom 4.

Geld ist also da.

      Syntroleum to Sell Nigerian Holdings
      http://www.rigzone.com/news/article.asp?a_id=39279" target="_blank" rel="nofollow ugc noopener">http://www.rigzone.com/news/article.asp?a_id=39279

Syntroleum Corporation's subsidiary, Syntroleum International Corporation, has signed a letter agreement with Energy Equity Resources Limited ("EER") for the sale of Syntroleum's exploration and production holdings. Syntroleum could realize up to $25 million from this sale, subject to certain conditions.

The transaction will be effected through the sale of 100 percent of the stock of Syntroleum International Holdings, Ltd. and Syntroleum International Holdings Company. Through a subsidiary, Syntroleum International Holdings, Ltd. and Syntroleum International Holdings Company own Syntroleum's 25 percent cost bearing interest in Oil Mining Lease ("OML") 113, which includes the Aje field, and its 20 percent interest in the Ajapa field in OML 90. Both fields are located off the coast of Nigeria.

EER has paid Syntroleum a non-refundable $2 million deposit, and will also pay an additional $10 million to Syntroleum by April 1, 2007, or at the time EER completes its raising of additional capital pursuant to any form of private placement or public offering, whichever occurs first. Payments of an additional $13 million could be earned from future farm-outs of the Aje field and initial production from the Aje and Ajapa fields. Closing of this transaction will occur on or before January 31, 2007.

"The monetization of our upstream exploration and development interests through this transaction is beneficial to Syntroleum on several fronts," said Jack Holmes, president and CEO of Syntroleum. "The elimination of both our capital cost obligations and the commitment of our management resources to upstream activities, coupled with the proceeds realized from the sale will allow us to more closely focus on the commercialization and funding of our portfolio of technologies on a global basis."

Previously, EER and Syntroleum's subsidiary, Syntroleum Nigeria, entered into agreements whereby EER obtained a 7.5 percent interest in OML 113, and a 20 percent interest in the Ajapa field.

Syntroleum Corporation owns a proprietary process for converting natural gas or synthesis gas derived from coal and other carbon-based feedstock into synthetic liquid hydrocarbons.
