NeoMedia Micro Paint Receives $290K Order from Australasia



FT. MYERS, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 29, 2004--NeoMedia Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: NEOM), said today that it has received a $290,000 order for proprietary paints and related materials from Micro Paint Systems (Australasia) Limited of New Zealand, which holds distribution rights to NeoMedia`s micro paint repair products in Australia and New Zealand.

Les Ellison, director of Micro Paint Repair Systems, said the supplies would be used for new centers the company plans to open in late February/early March in and around Auckland, New Zealand.

"We are focusing on selling the NeoMedia system to existing businesses which specialize in auto body repair," said Mr. Ellison. "In addition, Micro Paint Repair Systems is targeting automobile dealerships, as well as organizations which serve groups of automobile dealers, much as NeoMedia has done in Canada and the U.S."

Earlier this year, Micro Paint Repair Systems contacted with NeoMedia for exclusive distribution rights to NeoMedia`s micro paint repair products in Australia and New Zealand, contingent on a minimum purchase of 500 systems over five years. Micro Paint Repair is offering NeoMedia`s proprietary paint and systems under its label in Australasia.

NeoMedia`s micro paint repair system continues to evolve after more than a decade of research, development, manufacture and use. Chips, scratches, spots, blemishes and oxidized paint can all be corrected with the system, including problems with exotic pearlized paints, metallics and tri-coats.
