Additional comments: Jeff Tremblay and Renaud Hinse took a trip to Vancouver and San Franciso, and came out to Grass Valley, California my hometown, to meet with me late August, 2004. They have been in business as early as 1977. The mine last operated from 1985 to 1990. In 1980, the stock price hit a high of $4.95/share. In 1985, they raised and spent $20 million Cdn. to start production, and in 1990 production was put on hold due to low silver and zinc prices.

Imagine trying to run a business for 14 years with no revenue! Yet, during that time, they have managed to keep the company debt free, and dilution to a minimum! Yearly costs to keep the claims and equipment of this family-run mine are $100,000, so that has been their secret of survival.

ABI ist noch recht unbekannt. Die Bewertung ist ein Witz, wenn man bedenkt, dass sie schon eine fertige Mine haben und Resourcen im Wert von einer halben Milliarde. Ein weiterer Punkt der mich positiv stimmt, ist die Tatsache, dass es sich um ein solides Familienunternehmebn handelt. Bei 22 und 25 cent gab es noch eine Menge Insiderkäufe.

Was sagt Ihr dazu ? Was habe ich übersehen ? Wo liegen die Risiken etc. ?

T.O.M Corp. hat die Elder Mine von Abcourt gekauft. Abcourt erhält nun 3 Mio $ in den nächsten 30 Monaten.
Und das bei einem Marketcap von 5-6 mio. Infrastruktur ist auch noch 9,2 mio wert.

Abcourt verfügt auch noch über ein hohes Explorationspotential, was die Resourcen noch einmal verdreifachen kann, da man erst einen geringen Teil der Properties erkundet hat. Im Moment liegt der Wert der Resourcen bei einer halben Milliarde. Ab einem Zincpreis von 50 cent arbeitet die Mine profitabel!

engaged
Northern Securities Inc as agent to raise on a best effort basis,
$1,322,500.

Prior to the March 14th agreement, Northern Securities conducted an
analysis of
Abcourt Mines and concluded that Abcourt was currently extremely
inexpensive
compared to its peer group. Northern Securities, in its study, compared
Abcourt
Mines with Yukon Zinc, Breakwater Resources, PGM Ventures, Minco Mining
and
Metals, Canadian Zinc, Eagle Plains and Tri Origin Exploration. In
every
category of comparison, Abcourt Mines was by far the most undervalued
mining
stock. Therefore, fundamentally things appear very bullish.

Abcourt reports a significant increase in zinc and silver measured, indicated and inferred resources at its Abcourt-Barvue property

Abcourt Mines Inc., a former producer, is pleased to announce that a revision of its resources was completed by two independent and qualified persons Messrs. Alain Carrier, M. Sc., P. Geo and Julien Davy, M.Sc., P. Geo. of Innovexplo Inc. of Val-d’Or, Quebec. This revision was made according to National Instrument 43-101 directives and this press release was approved by Mr. Alain Carrier

The current Abcourt-Barvue 43-101 resource estimates represent an increase of 18% in tonnes, 18.6% in silver and 24% in zinc over the previous historical resources calculated in 1999.


Such a large increase was brought about in part by the success of our 2003 and 2004 drilling programs. All the discoveries were done along the known mineralized zone and the cost of the additions was low. We have decided therefore to continue to explore this zone and in our coming private placement (Press release dated March 14 last) an amount of $500,000 will be used for diamond drilling to upgrade the resource category of the deposit (eg. from inferred to indicated) and to increase the resource base. Abcourt is conducting a feasibility study on the Abcourt-Barvue project. This study will have to determine if the measured and indicated resources may be transferred into proven and probable reserves.

Near term silver and zinc production

Abcourt Mines is an exciting and unknown development and exploration company with properties located in Quebec, Canada. The province of Quebec is recognised industry wide as a jurisdiction which is very mining friendly. Abcourt is a 100% owner of both a past producing silver-zinc mine located near Val d`Or, Quebec and a past producing gold-copper mine located near Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec. The company is now focused on its silver-zinc mine and has optioned the gold mine to Tom Exploration.

The Abcourt-Barvue silver-zinc mine was placed into production by Abcourt in 1985 after an expenditure of $20 M. In 1990, with falling prices for silver and an anticipated drop in the price of zinc, production was put on hold. Between 1985 and 1990, Abcourt produced 697,016 short tons of ore grading 3.84 ounces of silver per short ton and 5.04% zinc representing 2.67 M ounces of silver and 34,850 tons of zinc. During the past 15 years, management has avoided a strong dilution of the share structure by issuing only a minimum of shares to cover any necessary expenses. Actually, there are only about 29 million shares outstanding which leads to the tiny market cap of approximately US$ 5.5 million.

Renaud Hinse, the CEO of Abcourt is also the largest shareholder. The Hinse family holds 30% of outstanding shares.

Property highlights.

The existing known resource at the silver-zinc property consists of 20.8 million ounces of silver and 659 million pounds of zinc. These numbers are National Instrument 43-101 compliant. While in production, exploration of the property will continue.

Being a past producer, Abcourt has existing infrastructure valued at $12,000,000 Canadian at their silver-zinc mine. The equipment has been very well maintained. Due to the fact that the ore body is near surface, the first five years of production will be done through open pit mining which will reduce overall expenses.

The taxation situation is another positive for Abcourt Mines. Abcourt has administrative general expenses deferred exploration and non depreciated capital assets totalling $10,394,447 at the federal level and $4,747,813 at the provincial level, deferred for income tax purposes which may be deducted from future taxable income. In addition Abcourt has net capital losses totalling $ 2,169,374, which may be used against future taxable capital gains.

Another property of Abcourt Mines is the Vendome-Barvallée property which is located 7 miles from the Abcourt-Barvue property. This property covers 1520 hectares and 38 claims. Past drillings have indicated a rich ore body of silver, gold, zinc and copper. This property will be a future producer and also offers great exploration potential.

The 100% owned Elder gold Property was optioned to T.O.M. Exploration. Abcourt will receive $3 Million over the next 30 months. In addition, Abcourt holds 500.000 shares of TOM and will earn royalties when Tom goes to production.

Currently, there is a financing ongoing which will raise sufficient funds in order to complete a feasibility study and a 30 hole summer drill program. The results of the drill program will increase and upgrade the known resource. The completion of the feasibility study is a requirement for the 2006 re-opening of the Abcourt-Barvue mine.

Abcourt is managed by a very qualified management team with experience in both exploration and production. Abcourt is a proven entity, a past producer who has survived a 15 year bear market without excessive dilution of the company shares. The company has no debt. Management has followed the "silver story" closely and is now committed to positioning the company for the anticipated strong move up in metal prices, silver in particular. In an effort to get their story out, Abcourt was recently listed on the Berlin Exchange and every effort will be made to promote Abcourt internationally.

Die Projekte

Die bestehenden Ressourcen der Silber- und Zinkmine Abcourt-Barvue belaufen sich auf 20,8 Mio. Unzen Silber und 659 Mio. Pfund Zink. Die Zahlen ergeben sich aus der 43-101 National Instrument Studie. Auch während des zukünftigen Abbaus wird die Exploration des Gebietes vorangetrieben.

Das Gebiet erstreckt sich über 1520 Hektar und besteht aus 38 Claims. Vergangene Bohrungen deuteten auf ein aus Gold, Zink, Silber und Kupfer enthaltendes Gestein hin. Das Gebiet wird eine zukünftige Abbaustelle sein, welche ein riesiges Explorationspotential eröffnet.

Abcourts Elder Goldmine wurde kürzlich von der T.O.M. geleast. Dadurch wird Abcourt 3,0 Mio. U$ über die nächsten 30 Monate erhalten. Zusätzlich hält Abcourt 500.000 Aktien von T.O.M. und erhält mit Beginn des Abbaus Royalties.

Im moment laufen schon die Vorbereitungen, die Anlagen startklar zu machen. Wird eine open pit mine sein. niedrige kosten. Nachteil, bzw. Vorteil. Abcourt ist noch sehr unbekannt.

ABCOURT MINES DRILLING CONTRACT AWARDED TO A VAL-D’OR CONTRACTOR.

Abcourt Mines Inc. has given a diamond drilling contract for a minimum of 35 holes totalling 4,400 meters on the Abcourt-Barvue silver/zinc property to a Val-d’Or, Quebec, contractor. The drilling will start at the beginning of July and the objective is to increase and improve the quality of the resource that may be extracted by open pit at depths of 60 to 120 meters. The drilling results will influence our mining plans. Our objective is to be in production in eighteen (1 months from now. Abcourt has a competent management team to realize this work program.

A National Instrument 43-101 resource calculation recently completed by Innovexplo of Val-d’Or, Quebec, indicates that the Abcourt-Barvue property has a resource close to 7 million tonnes in measured, indicated and inferred categories. For more details see our Press Release dated March 31, 2005.

Update from investor Relations
The drilling is set to begin at the Abcourt-Barvue Mine on Monday July 11th. The driller will operate around the clock Monday through Friday with alternating 12 hour shifts. The drilling will continue for the next eight to nine weeks. The contract calls for a total of 35 holes.

The first 20 holes will be drilled on the section of the property where 5 new open pits are planned. The company will study the core samples with the intention of acquiring more detailed information on grades and widths at additional depths. The results will prove to be invaluable when Abcourt goes to production. The results of the drill program at this section of the property will dictate the location and size of our first open pits.

The remaining 15 holes will be drilled at the east end of the property where an open pit operated from 1952 through 1957. The company will drill at the east end of the existing open pit with the intention of identifying open pit ore in that direction.

In the past, 1,100 holes have been drilled on our property. Much of the data has been digitalized. Over the next few months we will be adding to the wealth of information that we have on our 1.6 mile ore body. You can expect to see a news release every 2-3 weeks with core sample results of 8 to 9 holes at a time. We are confident that this drilling will add to the known resource of 21 million ounces silver and 659 million pounds of zinc.

Renaud Hinse is currently at the mine to supervise the preparation and start up of the drill program. When silver and zinc make their anticipated “BIG” move up, Abcourt should be in a great position to take full advantage of the situation.
