DOÑA AMELIA 15,000 METRIC TONNE UNDERGROUND EXPLORATION PROGRAM TO COMMENCE IN MAY 2005

Eaglecrest Explorations Ltd. (EEL-TSX.VENTURE & EAT.FSE FRANKFURT) is pleased to report that the 15,000 MT underground program in the Dona Amelia zone will commence in May 2005. The program will consist of two 3.0 by 3.0 metre 150 metre declines with 150 metre drifts to the east and west (2.5 by 2.5 metres) at the bottom of each decline for a total development length of 900 meters. One of the declines will be completed in the Trinidad area in the eastern portion of the Dona Amelia zone and one decline in the Manganeso area in the western portion of Dona Amelia zone. The locations of the two declines has been determined based on the results of 23,981 metres of diamond drilling completed in 104 holes in the Dona Amelia zone during 2003 and 2004 as well as 1,318.7 metres in 17 holes in 1996. The declines will be developed along the down dip extension of the main quartz vein/structure (MQV) of the Dona Amelia zone and the drifts along the strike of the MQV at depth to optimize the ore feed for the gold recovery plant.

The MQV of the Dona Amelia zone has now been expanded to 4.2 kilometres strike length at surface of which 2.3 kilometers has been drilled tested to 150 meters down dip length. Additionally, in the Trinidad area 350 metres of strike has been drilled to 450 metres down dip length including 200 metres of strike to 560 metres down dip length, and in the Manganeso area 250 metres of strike has been tested to 280 metres down dip with one section tracing the MQV to 550 metres down dip.

The Dona Amelia zone covers an area of 40 square kilometres within the Company’s 298.84 square kilometre San Simon project. The focus of the 2005 underground program and additional diamond drilling covers about 1.2 square kilometers or 3% of the Dona Amelia zone, which is less than 0.5% of the 298.84 square kilometer San Simon project.

OUTLINE OF THE COMPANY’S 2005 PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:

The Company’s plans to achieve the following objectives during the 2005 program.

1 In April 2005 execute a contract with the mining contractor to complete the two declines and four drifts. The mining contractor has confirmed his team and mining equipment can be on site in May 2005. The first decline is scheduled to be completed between May and September 2005 and the second between September and December 2005. Between May and December 2005 the Company plans to report tonnes of MQV mined and processed on a bi-weekly basis with the average true gold grade (grams per tonne) of the MQV along the bi-weekly advance. The reported grade and estimated ounces of gold in the concentrate will be determined by the Company’s independent metallurgical consultant, Gary Hawthorn, P.Eng. (B.C.) and who is a Qualified Person under the Canadian National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects. Mill production is anticipated to be approximately 50% gold concentrate and about 50% gold bullion, both of which will be sold to an international smelter.
2 In April 2005 execute a contract with an independent certified assay laboratory to staff and run an on site laboratory for drill core, head grade and concentrate gold fire assays with a 24 hour turn around time as opposed to the present off-site turn around time of 6 to 8 weeks.
3 In April 2005 submit the Environmental and Social Impact Study (EIA) for the underground exploration development, gold recovery plant operation and tailings dam construction. Processing time by the Bolivian government is 30 working days from the submittal date.
4 In April 2005 engage a mining industry consultant to prepare a Scoping Study to provide the Company with an inferred mineral resource calculation for the Trinidad and Manganeso areas and an economic evaluation based in part on those inferred reserves, as a preliminary step towards a more definitive resource calculation and Pre-Feasibility Study intended to be carried out later in the year. The Scoping Study will be based on previous and additional drilling during 2005 as well as data collected from the gold recovery plant and underground development.
5 In April 2005 contract a structural geological consultant to define the structural controls and geometry of the gold mineralization of the MQV in the Doña Amelia zone.
6 In April 2005 Major Drilling International Inc. will remobilize its crews to the project site to resume the Phase II diamond drilling (12,000 metres remaining) of the Trinidad and Manganeso areas to expand the area to be included in the resource calculation as well as additional drilling of the Las Rosas areas
7 In May 2005 complete the installation of a 150 metric ton per day (tpd) gold recovery plant on site. The Company has a 450 tpd crushing plant currently on site and this will be supplemented by a 150 tpd mill circuit comprised of a ball mill, jig for gravity recovery of gold (estimated at 50% of total gold in the MQV) and flotation cells for recovery of additional gold in a heavy metal concentrate (estimated at 45% of the gold in the MQV for an overall gold recovery estimated to be about 95%).
8 In May 2005 complete the assembly of an on-site assay laboratory, which will be controlled and managed by an independent assay company with Gary Hawthorn, P. Eng. (B.C.) as Qualified Person.
9 In May 2005 complete a NI 43-101 report on the 2004 diamond drilling and surface exploration of the Doña Amelia zone, and file the report with the TSX Venture Exchange.
10 In May 2005 contract the independent gold refinery to which the gold concentrate and bullion will be sold.
11 By the fall of 2005 the Company anticipates the completion of the Scoping Study for the Trinidad and Manganeso areas of the Doña Amelia zone by an independent Mining Industry Consultant and filing the Scoping Study with the TSX Venture Exchange in the form of a NI 43-101 report.

      DRILLING PROGRAM COMPLETED TO DATE:

To date, 25,209.7 metres of diamond drilling has been completed in 121 holes. The drilling was aimed at tracing the MQV in the major east-west structure of the Doña Amelia zone along strike and down dip. Diamond drilling has generally been done on 100 metres centers, but locally it has been carried out at a decreased spacing of 50 metres.

      · Trinidad area: Drilled 78 holes (69 completed and 9 lost due to drilling problems) for a total of 15,436.2 metres. Of these 61 holes were drilled in 2003 and 2004 (14,117.5 metres) which together with the 17 holes drilled in 1996 (1,318.7 metres) has defined MQV over 1.4 kilometer of strike length and up to 560 metres down dip with an average width of 4.3 metres.
      · Manganeso Area: Drilled 42 holes (41 completed and 1 lost due to drilling problems) for a total of 9,622.8 metres that has defined the MQV and several conjugated gold mineralized quartz veins along 1.075 kilometre of strike length and 550 metres down dip with an average width of 2.4 metres.
1 Las Rosas area: Drilled 2 holes for a total of 240.8 metres in the eastern end of the area with the maximum MQV width of 1.0 metres.
2 Initial review of structural control and geometry of the gold mineralization has established that the MQV is hosted by a thrust fault. The movement along the thrust during at least two stages of deformation has created several dilation zones with wider quartz vein sections (MVQ widths of 4 to 15.8 metres). Strike dilation zones have been identified at surface in the Trinidad pit and in the Las Rosas area, and down dip in the Trinidad area (3 dilation zones) and in the Manganeso area (1 dilation zone). All of the dilation zones are open along dip and/or along strike.
      · The gold in the MQV is free and coarse (up to 3 mm). Assay results from parallel surface trenches shows poor to no correlation between trenches 0.25 metres apart and this is consistent with erratic assay results of the MQV from diamond drill core (varies between 0.1 and 56.9 grams per tonne). It is concluded that the gold mineralization has an accentuated nugget effect and the small (less than 8 kilo) drill core or channel samples do not adequately represent in-situ gold grade. Determination of the true average in-situ gold grade of the MQV mineralization will be determined by the 2005 underground bulk-sampling and gold recovery program.

The Company has determined the preferred locations for the two declines in the underground exploration development from MQV intersections in diamond drill core. Results from bulk sampling and processing of the MQV development material in the gold recovery plant will be used to determine the true in-situ gold grade of the MQV mineralization.

The diamond drill and underground exploration programs are being supervised by Tor Bruland, P. Geo. and Don Allen, P. Eng., both of whom are Qualified Persons under the Canadian National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects.

DOÑA AMELIA ZONE TRENCHING RESULTS HIGHLIGHTED BY SIGNIFICANT NUGGET EFFECT

Eaglecrest Explorations Ltd. (EEL-TSX.VENTURE & EAT.FSE FRANKFURT) is pleased to report gold results from trenching of the Main Quartz Vein (MQV) in the Doña Amelia zone on the Company’s San Simon property in Bolivia. Chip channel samples were collected from the MQV in 11 trenches in the Trinidad/Mina Vieja Pit (eastern part of Doña Amelia zone) of which four had duplicate trenches 0.25 m to the east and the west. The Dona Amelia zone covers an area of 40 square kilometres within the Company’s 298.84 square kilometres San Simon project.

A structurally controlled dilation zone is exposed along 55 metres of strike within the Trinidad/Mina Vieja pit. The true width of the MQV ranges from 4.1 metres in the east to a maximum of 5.7 metres in the centre to 1.9 metres in the west. Eleven trenches across the width of the MQV were located along the strike length of the dilation zone. The chip channel samples range in length from 0.3 to 1.1 metres to reflect changes in geology of the MQV, and the results are tabulated in the table below.

Trench # MQV True Width, metres Weighted Average Gold grade, grams per tonne (g/t) Maximum Gold grade, g/t Minimum Gold Value, g/t

Coarse visible gold (VG) was identified in four samples that returned gold grades ranging from 4.2 g/t to 27.3 g/t in trenches TRD-C04, TRD-C06, TRD-C09 AND TRD-C10.

To check the variance in the gold grades, additional chip channel samples were collected from two parallel trenches for each of the TRD-C01, TRD-C02, TRD-C03 and TRD-C04 trenches. The parallel trenches were located 0.25 metres to the east and 0.25 metres to the west of each of the original trenches. The gold grades varied substantially as reflected in the table below.

There is a substantial variation between samples in the same sets ranging from anomalous (less than 1 g/t) through low grade (1 to 3 g/t) to medium grade (3 to 5g/t) to high grade (more than 5 g/t). The coarse visible gold creates a significant nugget effect for the gold mineralization. The correlation coefficients between the parallel trenches are low, indicating that gold values are indiscriminate (or random) and without any direct relation to the true in-situ gold grade of the MQV. Previous work by the Company’s independent metallurgical consultant, Gary Hawthorn, P.Eng. (B.C.), who is a Qualified Persons under the Canadian National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects has established that at least a minimum 750 kilogram sample of the MQV would be required to determine the true in-situ gold grade without having to compromise either accuracy or precision.

A similar scenario is encountered in Yamana Gold Inc. São Francisco Project in Brazil, located approximately 300 km to the southeast of the San Simon Project, and described in Kappes, Cassiday & Associates Technical Report of the project issued in November 2004. The geological setting of the São Francisco Project is similar to that of the San Simon Project both in relation to host rock and gold mineralization. The Kappes, Cassiday & Associates Technical Report concludes that drill core samples are unable to adequately represent in-situ gold grade and that the in-situ gold grade is much higher than drill hole gold grades. Grades obtained through bulk sampling were in some cases double grades obtained from drilling.

While a statistical analysis of diamond drill core gold values shows a close correlation between anomalous to high gold values in the MQV, quartz veins and quartz vein stockwork, neither the diamond drill core nor the trench gold values indicate any preferred or systematic distribution of the gold within the MQV. The Company’s independent geologists have concluded that gold grades reported do not reflect the true in-situ gold grade of the MQV. Based on the presence of anomalous to high grade gold values randomly distributed within the MQV they have concluded from the above data and their personal observations that the full width of the quartz vein is homogeneously mineralized. They have also concluded that the true in-situ gold grade can only be determined through the bulk sampling of the MQV which is planned for in the 2005 exploration program.

The diamond drill and underground exploration programs are being supervised by Tor Bruland, P. Geo. and Don Allen, P. Eng., both of whom are Qualified Persons under the Canadian National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects.

      Company Info,

DOÑA AMELIA ZONE DRILLING RESULTS CONTINUE TO YIELD HIGH NUGGET EFFECT

Eaglecrest Explorations Ltd. (EEL-TSX.VENTURE & EAT.FSE FRANKFURT) is pleased to report that gold results from the latest of 18 diamond drill holes in the Doña Amelia zone on the Company’s San Simon property in Bolivia from the 2004 drilling program. The Dona Amelia zone covers an area of 40 square kilometres within the Company’s 298.84 square kilometres San Simon project.

      SUMMARY
The gold results from the drilling continue to vary significantly from anomalous to medium grade to high grade consistently as did the trench sample results (see EEL news release April 12, 2005). The coarse size of the gold (up to 3 millimetres) and the small size of the drill core (HQ drill core size is 61.5 millimetres and this is subsequently cut in half with only one half being analysed) makes it impossible to obtain samples that truly represent the in-situ gold grade of any MQV intersection. The Company has previously highlighted that the gold mineralization of this project has an erratic and nuggety distribution and the below additional drilling results substantiate this position.

Between May and December 2005, the Company will complete two declines to determine the true in-situ gold grade of the MQV and the impact of the nugget effect. The MQV bulk samples from the underground program will be processed in a gold recovery plant on site and provide detailed results from 15,000 metric tonnes of MQV mined. Additional diamond drilling in the Trinidad, Manganeso and Las Rosas areas will also be completed between April and December 2005.

      MANGANESO AREA
The results of the latest holes in the Manganeso area are listed in the table below.

Drill hole # From, metres (m) To, metres (m) True Width, metres (m) Weighted Average Gold grade, grams per tonne (g/t)
      TRD04-114 107.6 108.6 0.8 15.3
      TRD04-115 33.2 34.7 0.8 0.5
      TRD04-116 359.4 363.3 3.2 1.3
      410.2 411.5 1.1 6.3
      TRD04-117 104.9 110.0 3.6 0.3
      TRD04-121 471.5 476.6 4.7 1.3

A series of holes were completed to define the MQV in the area of the planned decline and two holes were drilled to trace the MQV down dip.

      TRD04-114 is in the central part of the area and was drilled between holes TRD04-113 (1.8 m of 2.1 g/t gold) and TRD04-075 (3.9 m of 4.1 g/t gold) and returned 15.3 g/t gold over 0.8 m.

Hole TRD04-115 is in the eastern part, in a structural complex area, and was drilled near the Manganeso pit where several conjugate structures intersect the MQV. The purpose of the hole was mainly for structural control. A narrow intersection of sericite altered meta-sediments with quartz veins at 33.2 meters returned up to 1.1 g/t gold.

Hole TRD04-117 is in the central part and intersected 3.6 m of MQV, which is consistent with two holes to the west (TRD04-049 with 2.3 m and TRD04-050 with 3.1 m) and six holes along 300 m of strike to the southeast (TRD04-060 with 6.3 m, TRD04-092 with 4.8 m, TRD04-057 with 2.8 m, TRD04-095 with 2.8 m, TRD04-075 with 3.9 m and TRD04-077 with 5.5 m). These holes are interpreted to define the Dilation Zone in the Manganeso area that will be the target for the decline.

Holes TRD04-116 and TRD04-121 were drilled down dip from holes TRD04-087 (6.4 m MQV intersection) and defined the down dip extension of the Manganeso Dilation Zone another 275 m down dip. The MQV in TRD04-121 contained visible gold and the gold values ranged from 0.1 to 6.7 g/t.

Hole TRD04-116 intersected a second gold mineralized quartz vein approximately 50 m below the MQV. This intersection could represent a conjugate structures or a second gold mineralized structure or shoot connecting with a footwall quartz vein in TRD04-077. Further drilling is needed to determine the relation between these intersections and the MQV.

      TRINIDAD AREA
The results of the latest holes in the Trinidad area are listed in the table below.

Drill hole # From, metres (m) To, metres (m) True Width, metres (m) Weighted Average Gold grade, grams per tonne (g/t)

      TRD04-128
      TRD04-129 133.8 137.4 2.9 3.0

All the reported holes with the exception of TRD04-129 are located to the east of the Trinidad/Mina Vieja Pit, were drilled to trace the MQV to the east and west of TRD04-100 which intersected 3.8 m averaging 5.6 g/t gold.

The MQV was intersected 200 and 300 m to the east in holes TRD04-110 and TRD04-118 and 500 m to the east-northeast in hole TRD04-120. These holes define 400 m of strike length Dilation Zone C (see EEL’s 2004 Annual report) in the Trinidad area which remains open to the east and is anticipated to extend further. Holes TRD04-119 and TRD04-122 are 100 and 200 m to the west of TRD04-110, respectively, and intersected the MQV minor quartz veining indicating the Dilation Zone C closes to the west.

Holes TRD04-123, TRD04-125, TRD04-127 & TRD04-128 are to the northeast of TRD04-100 along 400 m of strike length to the west. TRD04-120 had narrow intersections of the MQV with anomalous gold values indicating the closure of Dilation Zone C to the northeast.

Holes TRD04-124 & TRD04-126 are 220 and 140 m to the southwest of TRD04-110, respectively, and were drilled to test the down dip extension of the gold mineralization. Hole TRD04-124 is the farthest to the southwest and was lost due to drilling problems. Hole TRD04-126 intersected the MQV with a true width of 1.0 m and gold grades to 6.7 g/t.

Dilation Zone C is interpreted as southwest plunging mineralized sheet with more than 400 m of strike length and width ranging from 1 to 3.8 m. It plunges toward Dilation Zone B defined along 350 m of strike length by holes TRD04-051, TRD04-066, TRD04-070, TRD04-072 and TRD04-076 ranging in width from 4.8 to 15.9 m, including 0.4 m of 41.0 g/t gold. While additional drilling is required to define and determine the overall size of the two Dilation Zones, the latest results indicate that the combined Dilation Zone BC has a west-southwest plunge and a down plunge extension in excess of 1,100 m.

Hole TRD04-118 intersected a second gold mineralized quartz vein approximately 50 m below the MQV. This intersection probably represents a conjugate structure although no conjugate structure so far has been identified at surface near this hole. Further drilling is needed to define the significance of this intersection.

Hole TRD04-078 was drilled to the southwest of TRD04-072 (15.9 m of 1.0 g/t gold including 1.0 m of 9.1 g/t gold) and northeast of TRD04-055 (8.9 m of 1.6 g/t gold, including 1.0 m of 6.6 g/t gold) in Dilation Zone B. Hole TRD04-078 intersected 5.3 m of the MQV, but without any anomalous gold values. This intersection will be further investigated by wedging or twinning the hole to investigate the representavility of the samples collected from the hole.

Hole TRD04-129 was drilled in a easterly direction to investigate the Mina Vieja vein (mined by Jesuit monks in the 17th century and about 1.0 m wide at surface), which appears to be an offshoot of the Trinidad vein. The hole intersected the Trinidad vein at a depth of 133.8 m. A series of narrow quartz veins were intersected in the target range for the Mina Vieja vein between 175 and 195 m with grades ranging between 1.0 and 2.9 g/t gold. These narrow veins are sub-parallel to the hole and do not represent the down dip extension of this vein.

      ANALYTICAL PROCEDURE
All drill core selected for sampling is marked with sample tags supplied by ALS Chemex. The 61.5 mm diameter HQ size core is cut longitudinally in half using a 35.6 cm diameter table diamond saw. The same side of the cut core is collected for the sample and then placed in double, heavy duty (200 g) plastic sample bags. The sample tag assigned to the sample is included in the bag and both bags are individually closed/sealed with plastic cinch straps. The samples are packed in 50 kg rice bags and stored within a fenced secure area for subsequent shipping to the laboratory. Samples are shipped to ALS Bolivia in Oruru Bolivia for sample preparation and screening for metallics and the pulps are shipped to ALS Perú S.A. in Lima, Perú for standard gold Fire Assays (both are divisions of ALS Chemex Ltd. of Vancouver, Canada, and Australia with accreditation with Bureau Veritas in Perú).

The samples are initial crushed to 70% -10 mesh at which point a 1 kg sample is collected and pulverized to 95% -150 mesh (106 micron). The 1 kg sample is initially screened for metallic particles to recover the coarse gold in the sample and subsequently two duplicate 30 grams pulps of the - 150 mesh (106 microns) fraction are collected and individually Fire Assays. The coarse gold collected from the + 150 mesh (106 microns) fraction is weighed and proportionally combined with the average of the two Fire Assays. Blank duplicates have been regular inserted in the sample sequence at a frequency of 1 blank per 25 samples.

The diamond drill and planned underground exploration programs are being supervised by Tor Bruland, P. Geo. and Don Allen, P. Eng., both of whom are Qualified Persons under the Canadian National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects.

Hier die neueste Pressemitteilung von Eaglecrest:

Eaglecrest Explorations Ltd. unterzeichnet Untergrund Explorationsvertrag

Vancouver, BC, Kanada, 9.

      Gruss,

Hier die Pressemitteilung von Eaglecrest in Deutsch:

Eaglecrest Explorations Ltd. schließt Vertrag zum Betrieb eines unabhängigen Labors vor Ort

      Labor startet Mitte Juli 2005

Vancouver, BC, Kanada, 23.
