Da der alte Thread leider schon historisch geworden ist und IIJI wieder ordentlich Gesprächsstoff bíetet mit massiv anziehenden Kursen eröffne ich mal die Nummer 2.

Ich denke trotz des fulminaten Kursanstiegs geht hier noch was; die Nachrichten sind einfach zu gut:

IIJ to List on the Mothers market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange
Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (IIJ, NASDAQ:IIJI), one of Japan`s leading Internet access and comprehensive network solutions providers, today announced that it received notification that the Tokyo Stock Exchange has approved the listing of its shares of common stock on the Mothers market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. IIJ believes that listing on the Mothers market will further expand its business by strengthening its presence in Japan and by providing additional financing options. The expected listing date is June 23, 2005.

Darüber hinaus haben sich die Umsätze und das earning enorm verbessert. Auf zu neuen Höhen!

Jau, nach dem ganzen Trouble vor 1 1/2 Jahren mit potentiellem Nasdaq-Delisting und schlechten Fundamentaldaten sieht es News- und Charttechnisch aktuell hervorragend aus.

Klasse, nochmal 27,5%. Langsam wird es allerdings eng wobei die Amis wahrscheinlich noch etwas weiter machen werden. War vor einem jahr ein ähnlich sprunghafter Anstieg.

Komisch, dass die Resonanz so gering ist. IIJI ist derzeit wohl die heißeste Aktie im Ring! Ständig geht es nach oben und es wird spannend wann der erste Rücksetzer kommt.
Ich habe mir derzeit beide Hände auf dem Rücken verbunden, um nicht ausvershen an den Verkaufsknopf zu kommen...

Jedenfalls gibt es gestern/heute die erste Abkühlung.

TOKYO, May 27, 2005--Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (IIJ, NASDAQ: IIJI), one of Japan`s leading Internet access and comprehensive network solutions providers, today announced that it received notification that the Tokyo Stock Exchange has approved the listing of its shares of common stock on the Mothers market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. IIJ believes that listing on the Mothers market will further expand its business by strengthening its presence in Japan and by providing additional financing options. The expected listing date is June 23, 2005.

In connection with the Mothers listing, IIJ plans to issue 2,500 new shares and two shareholders, NIF Ventures Co., Ltd. and JAFCO Co., Ltd., which are Japanese venture capital firms, plan to sell 900 existing shares in an underwritten public offering in Japan. In addition, the lead underwriter will be provided by the selling shareholders with the option to purchase up to additional 500 shares to cover over-allotments, if any. The newly issued shares will comprise approximately 6.1% of IIJ`s total shares after giving effect to the issuance. IIJ plans to use the proceeds from the issuance of the new shares for ongoing capital investment in operations and research and development.

The offer price for the public offering in Japan will be based on the closing price of IIJ`s American Depositary Receipts on the NASDAQ National market on the date prior to the pricing date subject to a discount determined in accordance with market demand. Pricing is expected to occur on a date between June 14 and June 16.

Any shares sold in connection with the proposed offering have not been and will not be registered under the U.S. Securities Exchange Act of 1933, as amended (the "Securities Act") and may not be offered or sold in the United States absent registration under the Securities Act or an applicable exemption from the registration requirements of the Securities Act.

Genau, das ist die Nachricht die den heftigen Kurssprung ausgelöst hat.Verstehe nur nicht, dass wenn das Listing für den 23.06. anvisiert wird, warum nun vom 14. und 16.06 gesprochen wird. Möglichwerweise hat sich der Termin verändert.
Der Kurs hat sich für meinen Geschmack aber zu schnell nach oben entwickelt. Ich rechne für die kommende Woche mit einem heftigen Rücksetzer auf 5€ bzw. 6$. Einsteigen
würde ich jetzt vorerst nicht mehr.

IIJ Announces Expected Termination of Offering in Japan and Withdrawal of Proposed Japanese Listing

Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (IIJ, NASDAQ: IIJI) today announced that as of the closing of the subscription period for its initial public share offering in Japan today, fewer than 300 prospective new investors had submitted purchase orders. As a consequence, IIJ will not be able to fulfill the listing requirements of the Mothers market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange and will therefore be unable to satisfy the conditions to closing of this offering as set forth in the underwriting agreement relating thereto. IIJ expects to terminate this offering and withdraw its listing application early next week. IIJ will seek a domestic listing in Japan at a future date.


Gut, dass man nicht zu gierig geworden ist!
Finger weg! Da fragt man sich doch, ob das nicht schon im Vorfeld klar war und jemand richtig gut raus wollte. Hört sich fingiert an!

Wer ist denn nach der Nachricht noch in IIJI drin? Es ist doch eigentlich völlig klar, dass das Interesse erst wieder aufflammt, wenn eine konkrete Zeitschiene für ein Japanlisting genannt wird. Danach sieht es nicht aus! Sobald die Marktstimmung wieder dreht - und das ist auf dem Niveau nicht unwahrscheinlich - sind wir ganz schnell wieder bei 2-3€

Also wer outet sich und begründet sein Investment?
