HydroFlo Forms Fifth Portfolio Company
Monday July 18, 8:40 am ET
RALEIGH, NC--(MARKET WIRE)--Jul 18, 2005 -- HydroFlo, Inc. (OTC BB:HYRF.OB - News) today announced the newest addition to its portfolio of businesses, Advanced Water Recycle, Inc. (AWRI). The latest corporation will combine resources from each of HydroFlo`s current portfolio companies to provide customers with water recycling and reuse.
ADVERTISEMENT
AWRI will initially concentrate sales efforts of its technologies across the United States coast lines and all ports. To achieve the acceptable levels of contaminant free water in compliance with Federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) standards, AWRI will utilize multiple aspects of each of HydroFlo`s current portfolio companies. AWRI will make use of HydroFlo Water Treatment`s aeration and new HDAF units to offer the proper ventilation and conditions for the pretreatment of wastewater. Metals and Arsenic Removal Technology will provide its ARTI-64TM technology and other purification methods to assist with the final purification of the water. Safety Scan Technology will offer water testing equipment for the various stages of the process. Ultra Choice Water will offer financing to assist in the payment process for customers. The combined technologies will turn untreated storm water, ground water, water run-off, sewage, wastewater and any pretreated water into potable drinking water.
A coastal region of North Carolina has fostered the initial interest for AWRI services. This particular request is to start treatment of 70 million gallons of water per day for the next 10 years. This has propelled HydroFlo to take action and offer the necessary services to assist the region with their treatment difficulties. The Florida Senate Bill 444 (http://www.flsenate.gov/Session/index.cfm?Mode=Bills&SubMenu…) has also provided an area of need for water treatment by offering a funding level allotment of $100 million annually.
Based on recent U.S. EPA (http://www.groundwater.org/gi/GWBASICS2.pdf) studies, Americans drink more than 1 billion gallons of tap water per day. Over 98% of that water is groundwater. HydroFlo management conceded that statistics like these are overwhelmingly in support of creating a more efficient method to treat wastewater. Dennis L. Mast, CEO of HydroFlo, commented, "I am pleased to finally put a company name to the process I have envisioned and strived to create for over a decade. With North Carolina coastal region`s recent request for suitable water treatment and the passing of the latest Florida Senate Bill (444), the time has come for this company to provide this essential service. We look forward to establishing open lines of communication with government agencies that have this need. We also excitedly anticipate expanding the business of this company to add value to the HydroFlo investment portfolio."

HydroFlo Water Treatment Begins DAF OEM Sales
6/29/2005 Raleigh, NC — HydroFlo Water Treatment, Inc. (HWTI), a portfolio company of HydroFlo, Inc., has begun the sales of its new HydroFlo Dissolved Air Flotation (HDAF) unit to an undisclosed DAF manufacturer. The first system will be manufactured for retrofitting into an existing application in California. The HDAF unit has been proven to provide comparable removal efficiencies using a fraction of the recycled water normally required in DAF operations, thus allowing for lower horsepower costs per gallon treated.
In addition to retrofitting into existing applications, the latest product developed by HWTI is also built for new installations. The HDAF unit may be used for small industrial applications as well as larger municipal applications and incorporates technology that allows for operation in both highly corrosive and erosive environments.
Tom Barbee, Chief Operating Officer of HWTI was extremely pleased with the recent success of the new HWTI product. “OEM sales are an excellent opportunity to work with other companies to provide our new HDAF systems to a variety of customers and increase shareholder value,” stated Mr. Barbee. “HydroFlo Water Treatment looks forward to continuing such collaborations to bring our new DAF technologies to facilities around the world.”

The amended agreement includes approximately 72,000 water filters, pitchers and FATS units to be supplied by MARTI monthly for the remainder of 2005 through June 2006. These will each be privately labeled with a special formulation for EYI distribution. The total value of the order is to exceed 7.5 million dollars.
About EYI
EYI Industries Inc., through their subsidiary Essentially Yours Industries, Inc. (EYI), markets dietary supplements and personal care products that support healthy lifestyles. A large portion of EYI sales is from CALORAD®, a liquid protein supplement that has brought weight loss benefits to customers. More than six million bottles of CALORAD® have been sold since EYI was founded in 1995. The newest product, PROSOTEINE, is experiencing similar success to CALORAD® and bringing customers the benefits of a natural energy drink. EYI markets its products through an extensive network of Independent Business Associates.
"I am pleased at the increase of orders with EYI, and look forward to the continued expansion within their distribution networks. Working with a company that has educated their distributors, as EYI has, on the dangers of arsenic in our waters, as well as all of the benefits of the MARTI product line encourages my positive outlook on the future to provide MARTI products to the world," stated George Moore, Chief Operations Officer of MARTI.

Safety Scan Technology Works With NASA Outreach Program to Assist in Aquacorder Development
Thursday July 7, 8:45 am ET
RALEIGH, NC--(MARKET WIRE)--Jul 7, 2005 -- Safety Scan Technology, Inc. (SSTI) a portfolio company of HydroFlo, Inc. (OTC BB:HYRF.OB - News) today announced the assistance of NASA-funded Space Alliance Technology Outreach Program (SATOP) to help streamline their revolutionary technology, the Aquacorder. The challenge is to make the device compact in order to scan and analyze contaminants in water systems.
ADVERTISEMENT
The technology, Swept Frequency Acoustic Interferometry (SFAI), was originally created by Dr. Dipen N. Sinha with Los Alamos National Laboratories. It utilizes high frequency sound waves to analyze and detect pre-programmed contaminants in water systems through metal, glass, ceramic, and plastic barriers. SFAI has been in use for several years by the federal government as well as for the internal purposes at LANL.
"This technology will allow our customers the ability to analyze their water supply immediately and without opening the container," said Mike Doss, Safety Scan Technology`s Chief Operating Officer. Potential clients for SFAI and the advanced scanner include desalinization plants, beverage bottling processes, and semiconductor and pharmaceutical manufacturers, which need to verify incoming water purity.
SSTI approached SATOP for assistance in consolidating the electronics associated with SFAI into a smaller, potentially hand-held sized unit, in contrast to the bulkier equipment currently in use. "This new technology is light-years ahead of anything else on the market right now and should revolutionize the way water is controlled and analyzed," said Christophe Gilfriche, SATOP Florida senior program engineer.
Dan Kovach reviewed the technology and once he had a thorough grasp of the concept, he was able to identify circuit configurations that could be implemented, confirm that the device could indeed be miniaturized, and provide suggestions on how to achieve the miniaturization.
"My research concluded that the SFAI device can be miniaturized to the size of a commercially available handheld device using commercially available components," Kovach said.
In addition, Kovach suggested rearranging the components and provided a list of options for consideration, such as a wireless system or separate monitor. He also advised that SSTI avoid components that contain lead due to potential bans on such components in various markets throughout the world. Lastly, Kovach provided suggestions for alternative methods for design and different graphical display options.
"Dan`s advice will help us bring our product to the prototype stage faster, and we will be able to move more quickly to make the device smaller," Doss said. Development of a working prototype is under way, and once completed the company will perform extensive field testing.
"We were looking for guidance about our micro circuitry, with the goal of saving a step or two in development down the road," Doss said. "We certainly received that and more from Dan, not to mention the opportunity to be associated with a great program like SATOP."

EYI Industries Enters Letter of Intent Worth an Estimated US$210 Million
Thursday August 11, 4:57 pm ET
BURNABY, British Columbia, Aug. 11, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- EYI Industries Inc. (``EYI``) (OTC BB:EYII.OB - News) (http://www.EYIcom.com), a marketer of products that promote well-being and a healthy lifestyle, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a Letter of Intent (``LOI``) for the sale of an undisclosed number of Patented Code Blue(tm) filtration systems over a 2-year period with the Guangzhou CEIEC Enterprise (GROUP) CO. LTD. (``Guangzhou CEIEC``), a subsidiary of The China National Electronics Import & Export Corporation (``CEIEC``).
ADVERTISEMENT
The CEIEC, located in South China, is the largest exporter and importer of electronic products in China and was the first Chinese enterprise to establish sales and cooperative relations with foreign brand name enterprises such as Hitachi, Sharp, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Siemens, Casio, Phillips, Hewlett-Packard, LG and Samsung. Currently, the CEIEC is under the direction of the Chinese government and has extensive business relations with nearly 100 countries and regions and imports/exports over US$1 Billion in products every year.
The Code Blue(tm) portable water filtration system removes Arsenic and other contaminates to a negligible level from drinking water. China`s large rural population and poor infrastructure in those outlying regions have created a huge demand for the Code Blue(tm) system which will facilitate the removal of harmful toxins from water, making it safe for human consumption.
Under the terms of the agreement, Guangzhou CEIEC will acquire agency rights from EYI Industries to distribute the Code Blue(tm) filtration system throughout China, and will commit to the purchase of US$210 Million worth of product as per the following schedule:
Fiscal 2006 (US$42,000,000)
Q1 = $700,000
Q2 = $2,800,000
Q3 = $14,000,000
Q4 = $24,500,000
Fiscal 2007 (US$168,000,000)
Q1 = $31,500,000
Q2 = $38,500,000
Q3 = $45,500,000
Q4 = $52,500,000
EYI Industries Chief Operating Officer, Dori O`Neill stated, ``Gaining access to China, the fastest growing global economy and largest consumer market through a reputable partner such as Guangzhou CEIEC Enterprise Group, is a huge milestone for EYI Industries.`` Mr. O`Neill went on to say, ``An order of this magnitude will certainly generate a great deal of shareholder value and may be just the first in a number of orders from China as the Code Blue(tm) filtration system is a cost effective solution to a very serious issue affecting millions in the Chinese population.``
About EYI
EYI Industries Inc., through our subsidiary Essentially Yours Industries, Inc. (EYI), markets products that promote health and well-being. Recently, EYI launched a consumer product that removes Arsenic and other contaminates to a negligible level from drinking water. The portable water filtration product`s name is Code Blue(TM) and is exclusively provided to EYI. In addition, EYI sells dietary supplements and personal care products. A large portion of our sales are from CALORAD(R), a liquid protein supplement that has brought weight loss benefits to our customers. More than six million bottles of CALORAD(R) have been sold since EYI was founded in 1995. Our newest product, PROSOTEINE, is experiencing similar success to CALORAD(R) and bringing our customers the benefits of a natural Energy drink.
EYI markets its products through an extensive network of Independent Business Associates. Our sales force is staffed by knowledgeable, experienced men and women and supported by our comprehensive training programs.

Obviously, doing what we can do to avoid arsenic exposure is good, and the introduction of the ONLY water filtration system that eliminates 100% of the arsenic is nothing if not timely. Essentially Yours Industries, the company that also brought us Prosoteine to help increase energy by healing mitochondria that produce it, has the exclusive right to sell Code Blue water filters. In the cheapest and simplest portable incarnation from Metal and Arsenic Removal Technology Inc. ( MARTI http://www.martiinc.com ) Code Blue is a pitcher and cartridge system that is similar to the hugely popular Brita system (a Code Blue cartridge will fit a Brita pitcher); this has been used by the U.S. military in some of their foreign campaigns. Also available are other systems for industrial, municipal, and residential use. MARTI systems use a proprietary compound (ARTI-64 T) that cleans the water without pH adjustment, no harmful byproducts are produced, and treatment is unaffected by nitrates, phosphates, silica, or sulfates.

OT Rosenbohm (A lot...India)
Zitator (overvoice):
