Asiatische Regierungen testen den Teststreifen Flu DETECT (TM) von Synbiotics; Thailand, Vietnam melden schnelle und sensible Testergebnisse zum Nachweis der H5N1-Vogelgrippe

Auswertungen der nationalen Gesundheitsbehörden für Tiermedizin in Thailand und Vietnam sehen den Antigentest Flu DETECT(TM) von Synbiotics Corp. als schnellen und sehr sensiblen Test zur Erkennung des Subtyps H5N1 des Vogelgrippevirus Typ A, der sich in Asien unter Geflügelherden und wild lebenden Vögeln ausgebreitet hat. Wie Synbiotics ankündigte, führen Regierungen und unabhängige Labore in Australien, Indonesien, Thailand, Vietnam und den Vereinigten Staaten ebenfalls weitere Auswertungen des Tests durch.

Flu DETECT wurde im Frühjahr 2005 bei VIV Asia in Bangkok eingeführt und erkennt alle 16 Subtypen der Vogelgrippe Typ A und kann sowohl im Labor als auch auf den Farmen angewandt werden. Die Technologie des schnellen und sensiblen Flu DETECT unterstützt Bauern, Tierärzte und Gesundheitsämter bei der Einführung angemessener Kontrollmaßnahmen, der Behandlung der Krankheit und schließlich bei der Verringerung von wirtschaftlichem Schaden durch H5N1. Diese Krankheit ist sehr pathogen und verursacht eine schwere Erkrankung und den Tod der infizierten Tiere. In seltenen Fällen wurde sie von Vögeln auf Menschen übertragen.

Dem Gesundheitsamt für Tiermedizin in Thailand zufolge ist Flu DETECT leicht zu handhaben und liefert schnelle Ergebnisse. Ein Test der Behörde für Tiermedizin in Vietnam sah Flu DETECT als sehr genau in Bezug auf den H5N1-Subtyp der Vogelgrippe Typ A an und bestätigt die Sensibilität bei Proben mit einer extrem niedrigen Viruszahl.

Die Forschung von Synbiotics zeigt, dass dieser Test 10- bis 1000-fach empfindlicher ist als andere Antigentests, die üblicherweise in Gebrauch sind. Außerdem kann er alle Subtypen der Vogelgrippe Typ A-Partikel selbst bei geringer Viruslast erkennen und liefert Ergebnisse in nur 15 Minuten. Der Flu DETECT-Test ist günstig und sowohl in Laboren als auch auf Geflügelhöfen einfach zu handhaben.

"Die wichigsten Maßnahmen zur Kontrolle der Vogelgrippe sind aktive Beobachtung, schnelles Erkennen und die Beseitigung infizierter Herden", sagte Paul Hays, Geschäftsführer von Synbiotics. Könnte schnell abgehen!

Vor einem knappen Jahr stieg die Aktie schnell von $ 0,05 auf über $ 0,15 in einer guten Woche.

synbiotics ist interessant weil die produzieren geräte und produkte zur diagnostik für die tiermedizin!

in diesem vogelgrippealter ist die aktie noch interessanter, und nicht weil ein verückter vor einem jahr ein paar tausend stück gekauft hat.

leider gibts keine aktuele news und keine zahlen, zumindest könnte ich die nirgendwo finden.

dass synbiotics einmal gute zeiten hatten und über 8$ kostete ist schon lange her.

was mir noch aufgefallen ist-ein merkwürdiger umsatz-für die aktie, die keine zahlen und news liefert.

entweder kaufen nur verrückten (so wie ich), oder einige wissen mehr...

ist nicht schlimm, habs riskiert, und warte ein bisschen-vielleicht werde ich positiv überrascht...!?

Hallo ich bin auch noch investiert.

Da meine Firma selber mit DNA-Diagnostik Kits arbeitet habe ich mich ein bischen umgehoehrt.

Synbiotics ist ueberall in Europa vertreten, teilweise jedoch nur mit sogenannten HomeOffice. Zentrale in Europa ist Frankreich.
Im Bereich der Tiermedizin ist Synbiotics ein Begriff und die Kits werden auch in Europa vertrieben.

Bei einer Marktkapitalisierung von ca. 2 Mill. Dollar und einem Umsatz von ca. 20 Mill. Dollar ist diese Aktien ein Schnaeppchen.
Die Restrukturierungen zeigen langsam Wirkung und bei einem allgemeinen Aufwind kommt Synbiotics wieder in die Gewinnzone.
Die letzten Berichte vor der Going-Privat haben den Turnaround bereits gezeigt. Das Going-Privat ist ebenfalls sinnvoll, da eine Menge Geld eingespart wurde.

Beruhigend ist das mehr als 50 % der Aktien in festen Haenden ist.

Synbiotics ist kein Investment mit einem schnellen Zock, aber ich denke mit etwas Geduld sind da 1000 % und mehr drin.

Leider werden sie bisher nur in USA gehandelt. Viele Anleger sind allerdings auch in Deutschland. Wird sich das nochmal aendern?

das sie was verkaufen ist klar,die liefern leider keine zahlen und news. warum auch, wenn fast alles im privatbesitz liegt!?

bei mir ist synb auch in fästen händen-zumindest bis wir paar hundert % höher sind

nur, dass synb in usa gehandelt wird, sehe ich nicht als nachteil; amerikanische aktien, meine erfahrung nach, sind leichte zu erwerben und loszuwerden nur in usa börsen.

KC attracts animal biotech company: Synbiotics to relocate San Diego headquarters.

Aug 28, 2006 (The Kansas City Star - McClatchy-Tribune Business News via COMTEX) -- A new initiative to expand the animal health industry in the Kansas City region has landed a San Diego biotechnology company.
Executives for Synbiotics Corp. selected Kansas City out of five Midwestern locations seeking the relocation of the company's headquarters and research laboratories, Paul Hays, president and chief executive officer, said last week.

The company needed to be closer to many of its customers, animal disease researchers and animal vaccine manufacturers, Hays said.

"Kansas City is the best location to touch all of those," Hays said.

Synbiotics, which is expected to employ 42 people and invest $3.5 million for equipment in the area, represents an early success for the new KC Animal Health Corridor initiative. Company officials expect to have a building on the Missouri side of the metro area renovated in time to move in by January or February.

The company is to receive income tax credits worth $1.6 million from the state. The city is providing a property tax abatement incentive.

The animal health effort aims to expand on a base of nearly 120 animal health industry companies in a corridor roughly stretching between Manhattan and Columbia. The concentration of this cluster of companies is unmatched by any other region, according to Brakke Consulting Inc.

Economic development officials are touting the benefits of operating in proximity to similar firms, top researchers and service firms working with animal health companies.

The region also offers a rich pool of highly qualified workers for animal health companies that establish operations in Missouri, Gov. Matt Blunt said in a statement.

"Synbiotics is a leader in its field and represents the kind of company we want to continue to attract to the Show-Me State," Blunt said.

Biotechnology is a highly sought target by development officials across the country. Officials with the Kansas City Area Development Council and other key supporters tried to make the region stand out by crafting an animal health initiative playing on the advantages of the existing industry in the area.

The veterinary schools at Kansas State University and the University of Missouri-Columbia are one advantage cited by local officials, and one that helped attract Synbiotics.

The company already is collaborating with Kansas State researchers and will explore similar opportunities with their counterparts in Columbia, Hays said.

Synbiotics makes tests such as those used by veterinarians to detect heartworms in dogs and cats. It also has a leading avian influenza test among its detection products for poultry, cattle, swine and horse producers. The company reported $10.8 million in sales for the first six months of the year, up 7 percent from the same period in 2005.

das geht über CONSORS sowiso nicht. - es wird kein Handelsplatz angeboten.

Hallo, glaube auch fest an Synbiotics. Nach den letzten Infos haben Sie ca. 20 Mill. Dollar Umsatz gemacht bei ca. 24 Mill. Aktien. Und der Gewinn war bei +/- 0. Falls der Turnaround gelingt geht es hier sehr schnell wieder in die Hoehe.

Es gibt 3 Gruende warum der Turnaround gelingt bzw. gelingen muss.

1. Die Mehrheit der Aktien ist in festen Haenden. Hier geht es nicht um eine Abzoge. Daher auch das bestreben going Privat.
Es wurden damit Einsparungen von ca. 300 000 Dollar angekuendigt, damit waere das Unternehmen im Plus.

2. Es handelt sich um ein Unternehmen mit langer Tradition, welches eine Marke aufgebaut hat und eine breite Produktpalette besitzt.

3. Das Unternehmen befindet sich in einen Wachstumsmarkt und wird in Zukunft den obigen Umsatz noch steigern.

Wenn die Konsolidierung abgeschlossen ist und die Finanzsituation sich verbessert hat, dann geht es hier schnell aufwaerts.
Dies ist ein Wert den man 10 Jahre halten kann (auch bei going Privat) um sich dann im zweistelligen Dollarbereich wieder
zutreffen.

Ich moechte gerne noch aufstocken, aber leider ist Sie in DE nicht handelbar. Weiss jemand wieviel es kostet direkt in den USA und wie sieht es mit Teilausfuehrungen aus.

Flu Detect® The First Rapid Antigen Diagnostic Approved for Detection of Avian Flu.

San Diego, Calif. – The U.S. Department of Agriculture has granted Synbiotics Corporation full USDA approval for marketing and distribution of Flu Detect® Avian Influenza Type A antigen test strip kits. Normalerweise müßte der Kurs nach dieser Meldung explodieren.
Ein Testreifen, der in 15 Minuten verstellen kann, ob das Tier mit der Vogelgrippe infiziert ist, ist doch echt der Hammer.

Das einzige was ich nicht so ganz verstehe, ist das GO PRIVAT...

bei nächste vogelgrippe welle stehen die käufer schlange um die kits zu kriegen...oder kaufen alle agrarministerien für reserve

das wort"vogelgrippe" ist momentan out-medien haben andere sorgen...synb hat aber mehreren testkits fuer andere krankheiten,damit die ihr 20 mio umsatz generieren...

ich habe nur meine version zu diese "go privat" geschichte...

vermute, dass paar unkels aus der obere etage sehr sehr überzeugt von synb zukunft waren, und sind-besitzen jetzt fast alle aktien-wollen aber zukunftigen gewin nicht mit uns teilen und kaufen leise den rest... nur so kann ich den kursverlauf erklären-kurs bleibt stabil! und um die meine shares zu kriegen musste ich lange warten-müsste umgekehrt sein, wenn jemand nur verkaufen wollte...

ist nur meine gedanken...

Synbiotic wird beobachtet.

Ich betrachte es als laengerfristige Investition. Es handelt sich um eine solide Firma die sich langsam aus den finanziellen Schwierigkeiten herausarbeiten.
Das Jahr 2007 sollte nach dem die Umstrukturierungen abgeschlossen sind mit einem kleinen Plus enden. Schade das Synbiotics nicht mehr in Deutschland gehandelt wird. Die Umsaetze in den USA sind auch nicht berauschend. Das liegt aber daran das die Mehrheit in Festen Haenden ist und bei diesen Kursen keiner abgeben moechte, ausser ein paar Verzweifelte. Ich sehe bei Synbiotics eine reele Chance das man hier preiswert in eine Biotech-Aktie einsteigen kann, die bereits solide Verkaufsumsaetze aufweist und die sich in den naechsten Jahren wieder in den Dollarbereich entwickeln koennte. Die damaligen Verluste wurden nicht im Kerngeschaeft gemacht sondern wurden durch einen Ausflug ins Internetbusiness verursachte. Dort haben ja bekanntlich viele nach der Boomphase Geld verloren.

Ich hatte mit dem Vertreter Joerg Schneider von Synbiotics Europa Kontakt und er bestaetigte mir das sich die Aktivitaeten in Europa gut entwickeln. Das Hauptgeschaeft ist jedoch in den USA. Durch den schwachen Dollar sind die Diagnostik-Kits in Europa sehr konkurrenzfaehig und im Bereich der Tierdiagnostik ist Synbiotic keine unbekannte Firma.

Ich bin schon längere Zeit investiert und habe dzt. 35.000 Stück zu einem durchschnittlichen KK von EUR 0,20 = USD 0,26.
Vielleicht werde ich nochmals aufstocken und verbilligen. - Was meinst du?

...wenn ich 3 j. chart von vw mit + 380% ansehe, frage mich, warum überhaupt pinkys kaufen... naja... aber mein hochtief hat mir auch paar schöne % geschenkt...leider synb hat nicht so gelaufen wie ich gedacht habe- "nur" 100% bis jetzt- sind auch steurfrei fuer mich...bleib aber bei meiner theory, dass vieleicht die bosen von synb, oder wer auch immer die mehrheit hat( nach go privat geschichte) - wollen die restlichen aktien - die wir natürlich nicht sehr bilig zurückgeben würden...oder so...

Von denen gebe ich keine her, werde aber versuchen nochmal ein paar nachzukaufen.

Die ständigen Schwankungen zwischen 0,11 und 0,16$ müßte man doch auch etwas ausnutzen. oder ?

Wird langsam mal Zeit das sich was tut.
Synbiotics wollte doch "going Private" machen.
Und was ist nun mit den Restlichen Aktien die immernoch
genhandelt werden. ???
Müsste da dann nicht längst ein Kaufpreis geboten werden, und
die Aktie danach vom Markt genommen werden ???
Also mir ist das schleierhaft, aber egal, vielleicht
laden wir ja trotzdem bald mal bei 1 Euro + x !!

Na endlich bewegt sich mal was.
Hoffentlich ist das kein Strohfeuer, sondern mal eine Bewegung
die immerwiedermal bei vielen Aktien am OTC zu beobachten ist.

Einige Zeit im Cent-Bereich und plötzlich mit realitv wenig Umsatz im Dollarbereich bei 3-4 $ zu finden.

Würde mich sehr freuen, und die , die noch investiert sind

...doch hat es sich gelont paar jahre zu warten, vielleicht ist synb eine von "kostolanys" perlen die eben länger braucht...

...sieht verlockend aus mit 300% plus fuer mich in paar jahren, aber warte noch ein bisschen,sie steigt vielleicht nicht ohne grund...

...und fuer schnele paar hundert % in paar tagen gibt es genug anderen an der börse...zb: "freedie&co"...

Schaut weiterhin recht gut bei SYNB.

Kann mir durchaus vorstellen, das da hinter den Kulissen
an höheren Kursen gearbeitet wird, und wir vielleicht
bald Richtung 1 Dollar gehen.

Wenn SYNB´s Geschäfte einigermassen laufen, müsste die
Firma mind. 2-3 Dollar je Share wert sein.........

Hallo-ich brauche mal eure Hilfe.Ich habe noch 10000 Aktien,Aber meine Bank will sie nicht verkaufen.Angeblich zu teuer.Zu welcher Bank muß ich wechseln um diese Aktien zu verkaufen?

Bei 1 Dollar , wären es ja nur ca. 7300 Euro.
Denke selbst ein Verkauf zu überhöhten Kondition dürfte max.
ca. 2 % vom Kurswert ausmachen.

Denk die 150 Euro kannst ja wohl verkraften.........

PS: Einen Verkauf MUSS Jede Bank irgendwie hinbekommen, auch
wenns IN USA an der Börse ist,
ausser sie hat von nix eine Ahnung und NULL Bock. !!!
