The other picks rounding out the six-month projected winners are Vignette (VIGN:Nasdaq - news) and CellPoint (CLPT:Nasdaq - news).
Six Month Winners
RealMoney Columnists Mutual Fund Managers
Tero Kuittinen of Halsey Advisory.
Kuittinen`s pick: CellPoint (CLPT:Nasdaq - news). Right now, operators around the world are moving steadily toward launching localization services for their mobile customers. There is a wave of innovative start-up companies creating applications tied to L-commerce. One of the most important future sectors of mobile internet services is processing information about where a handset is situated. CellPoint is a company to watch in this space. It scaled giddy heights during the last winter and then crashed spectacularly. It is one of the few carrion stocks of this year worth nibbling at. Bob Turner, manager of the $149 million Turner Technology fund.
Turner`s pick: Sonus Networks (SONS:Nasdaq - news). The company makes a switch that helps telecom companies run networks more efficiently. Sonus came public last May and had a big run-up; its lockup period expires soon and that has weighed on it, but it`s got more business than it knows what to do with.
Don Luskin of
MetaMarkets.com.
Luskin`s pick: Sonus Networks (SONS:Nasdaq - news). In a world in which the price of voice telephony is going to zero, migrating phone networks to voice-over-IP (internet protocol) is top priority. Sonus is first-to-market with a comprehensive solution. No photo available.
Alan Loewenstein, co-manager of the $2.8 billion John Hancock Technology fund.
Loewenstein`s pick: Vignette (VIGN:Nasdaq - news). Over the next six months, I like the companies that should show revenue and earnings growth that might also be a value now.

PaineWebber Teams with Vignette and IBM to Offer Clients Truly Personalized Online Financial Advice
Financial Advisors Blend Personal Service With Cutting-Edge Web Technology
NEW YORK & AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 7, 2000-- PaineWebber Inc. today announced it has joined forces with Vignette Corp. (Nasdaq:VIGN - news) and IBM (NYSE:IBM - news) to bring individualized online financial advisory services to PaineWebber clients by providing more than 8,600 PaineWebber financial advisors the ability to individualize online client profiles. PaineWebber uses Vignette`s V/5 E-business Application software in conjunction with IBM WebSphere(a) Application Server technology to create personalized, updated online applications for PaineWebber clients and employees.
The solution allows PaineWebber financial advisors to personalize their clients` Web experience, based on the advisor`s knowledge of each client`s needs. For example, a PaineWebber financial advisor who had just spoken with a client about technology stocks could insert related relevant information to the EDGE, a PaineWebber online financial service, which will be served up in the appropriate client`s home page automatically the next time he or she visits the EDGE. Targeted to the affluent investor, the EDGE serves 312,000 client households, representing more than $225.8 billion in assets. The new personalization features will be seen in an enhanced version of the service launching later this month.
``PaineWebber`s clients have strongly embraced our online services, and we have selected Vignette and IBM products to help us provide them with a highly personalized online experience, augmenting the value of the offline relationship,`` said Phillip K. Hsu, corporate vice president and manager of online personalization initiatives for PaineWebber`s Private Client Group.
``The innovative personalization solution created by PaineWebber, IBM and Vignette will allow financial advisors to creatively blend online and offline resources for the good of the customer,`` said Mike Vollman, senior vice president of sales and services at Vignette. ``This is what the future of technology is about -- enabling individual service regardless of a person`s location or the time of day.``
Said Elaine Sullivan, general manager, IBM Global Financial Markets Industry, ``Effective customer relationship management is key as financial services companies move to take full advantage of the e-business economy. Combining IBM WebSphere Application Server and Vignette technology with the expertise of financial advisors allows PaineWebber to build strong client relationships and attract new customers.``
PaineWebber is the first beneficiary of integration between the Vignette V/5 E-business Applications and IBM WebSphere Application Server. IBM`s WebSphere Application Server offers an integrated Web development platform that extends existing business processes and eases the building of new applications. The Vignette V/5 E-business Application software provides industry-leading content management and personalization. PaineWebber`s resulting e-business sites will deliver a unique combination of personalization, profiling and reporting services to optimally manage the sites as well as efficiently attract and engage clients and solidify client relationships.
