Balmoralal Resources (A1CV09)

Founded in 2010 Balmoral Resources is a gold exploration and development company focused on creating shareholder value through the acquisition, aggressive exploration and development of gold projects/resources in the major gold districts of North America.

Balmoral's portfolio of advanced and early stage gold exploration projects is located in the Abitibi greenstone belt. This belt of ancient rocks, which stretches through Quebec and eastern Ontario, is home to the Detour Lake, Casa Berardi, Timmins, Kirkland and Val-D'Or gold mining camps and has produced well over 130 million ounces of gold -- the 2nd largest accumulation of gold on Earth. The Abitibi has also been home to some of the most exciting new gold discoveries in the last 5 years and continues to maintain Canada at the forefront of the gold mining business.

The management team of Balmoral Resources has extensive experience in this world-class gold belt having most recently led West Timmins Mining Inc.. West Timmins was acquired, in a deal valued at $424 million, by Lake Shore Gold Inc. in 2009 following the discovery of the high-grade Thunder Creek deposit in Timmins, Ontario.

Utilizing that experience Balmoral has acquired one of the largest land positions in the Abitibi and now controls over 82 kilometres of the Sunday/Detour Lake deformation zone in the province of Quebec, Canada. The Sunday/Detour Lake deformation zone is one of the principal gold-bearing fault systems in the Abitibi greenstone belt and is home to the 18+ million ounce Detour Gold deposit.

Well financed, with a solid resource base and district scale exploration opportunities in one of the rich-est gold belts in the world Balmoral has emerged as a significant new player in the gold exploration and development business. We invite our shareholders and potential investors to follow our progress by joining our email list or contacting us directly. With drilling underway on multiple fronts and aggressive growth/expansion plans we invite you to visit our website frequently for updates on our progress.

Balmoral Intersects 7.94 g/t Gold Over 19.70 Metres BL Footwall Zone, Martiniere Property, Quebec
-- High-grade core of intercept yields 21.18 g/t (0.62 oz/t) gold over 6.45 metres (21.16 feet)
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 9, 2012) - Balmoral Resources Ltd. ("Balmoral" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:BAR)(OTCQX:BALMF) reported today results from the first 3 of 20 holes drilled in the Bug Lake area of its Martiniere Property during the recently completed Fall 2012 drill program. Results include further confirmation of the very high grade nature of the Bug Lake Footwall Zone. Hole MDE-12-65 returned anomalous gold mineralization over an interval of 81.00 metres, including a high-grade Footwall intercept of 7.94 g/t gold over 19.70 metres. As with other previous intercepts from the Footwall Zone, this broader interval contains a sulphide-rich core which returned 21.18 g/t gold (0.62 oz/ton) over 6.45 metres (21.16 feet). The core of this intercept occurs at approximately 50 metres vertical depth.

"With a shallow, high value target like the Footwall Zone continuing to expand in proximity to several other high-grade zones of gold mineralization, today's results further demonstrate the potential of the Martiniere gold system," said Darin Wagner, President and CEO of Balmoral. "While others are attempting to add, or access, high-grade ounces at considerable depth we are doing so in the near surface, on multiple fronts, in one of the best mining jurisdictions on the planet."

The Footwall Zone is one of three high-grade gold zones which occur within the 100+ metre wide Bug Lake Fault corridor on the Company's Martiniere Property in Quebec. The Martiniere Property forms part of Balmoral's 82 kilometre long Detour Gold Trend Project located along the Sunday Lake deformation zone in Central Quebec adjacent to the developing Detour Gold deposit in Ontario.

insufficient data with respect to the shape of the mineralization to
calculate true orientations in space.
(1) Collared into mineralized zone

Holes MDE-12-64 to 66 were collared from the same location, in the footwall east of the Bug Lake Zone, and were drilled at down hole angles of -45, -56 and -67 degrees. The intersection point of the Footwall Zone in hole MDE-12-65 is at approximately 50 metres vertical depth below surface and approximately 25 metres above/12 metres north of previously released hole MDE-12-63 (22.89 g/t gold over 4.10 metres, see NR12-29, October 31, 2012). Drilling continues to indicate that the very high-grade core of the Footwall Zone forms a moderate to steeply plunging body consistent with the typical geometry of high-grade gold zones in the Abitibi.

Quality Control

Mr. Darin Wagner (P.Geo.), President and CEO of the Company, is the non-independent qualified person for the technical disclosure contained in this news release. Mr. Wagner has supervised the work programs on the Martiniere Property, visited the property on multiple occasions, examined the drill core and/or photographs from the holes summarized in this release, discussed and reviewed the results with senior on-site geological staff and reviewed the available analytical and quality control results.

Balmoral has implemented a quality control program for all of its drill programs, to ensure best practice in the sampling and analysis of the drill core, which includes the insertion of blind blanks, duplicates and certified standards into sample stream. NQ sized drill core is saw cut with half of the drill core sampled at intervals based on geological criteria including lithology, visual mineralization and alteration. The remaining half of the core is stored on-site at the Company's Martiniere field camp in Central Quebec. Drill core samples are transported in sealed bags to ALS Minerals Val d'Or, Quebec analytical facilities. Gold analyses are obtained via industry standard fire assay with atomic absorption finish using 30 g aliquots. For samples returning greater than 5.00 g/t gold follow-up fire assay analysis with a gravimetric finish is completed. The Company has also requested that any samples returning greater than 10.00 g/t gold undergo screen metallic fire assay. Following receipt of assays visual analysis of mineralized intercepts is conducted and additional analysis may be requested to ensure the accurate representation of mineralized zones. ALS Minerals is ISO 9001:2008 certified and the Val d'Or facilities are ISO 17025 certified for gold analysis.

Rock Talk Session with Darin Wagner, President and CEO of Balmoral Resources

http://www.juniorminingnetwork.com/resource-sector-news/inte…

March 14, 2013

Explore in the shadow of the head frame- a term both familiar and favorable to seasoned geologists.

Just ask Darin Wagner, President and CEO of Balmoral Resources Ltd. (TSX.V: BAR), who in just three short years has built what was a prospective land package into what has the potential to become a high-grade, multi-million ounce gold resource.

Building on his success at West Timmins Mining, which was purchased by Lake Shore Gold (TSX: LSG) for $424 million in late 2009, Wagner turned his focus in 2010 to northern part of the world-class Abitibi Greenstone belt of Quebec.

More specifically, Wagner helped launch Balmoral Resources and immediately acquired a large land package adjacent to the Detour Lake Gold Project. Detour Gold (TSX: DGC) poured its first gold doré in February and has proven and probable gold reserves of 15.6 million ounces.

Balmoral’s land package, which spans 82 kilometers along the Sunday Lake Deformation Zone, begins immediately east of Detour Gold’s claims and shares obvious similar geological traits.

Since acquiring the land package Wagner has focused on putting money in the ground through drill-heavy exploration. Balmoral completed 26,000 meters of core drilling in 2012 and has commenced a 40,000 meter program for 2013.

And results to date have not disappointed. Balmoral is quickly defining a large, high-grade mineralized gold system that could potentially make the company a future buyout target for the likes of a mid-tier producer like Aurizon (TSX: ARZ) or Detour Gold.

We sat down with Mr. Wagner to gain some further insight into his long-term vision for Balmoral as well his thoughts on the current state of the junior resource sector.

JMN: Tell us about your experience as a geologist. How did you become involved with the junior resource sector?

Wagner: My schooling was in the east- B.Sc. from University of Waterloo and M.Sc. from Carleton in Ottawa working with members of the Geological Survey of Canada. My first full time positions were with major companies- first Noranda and then Cominco for 8 years.

It was my time with Cominco, as a member of their Project Generation Team, that really laid the ground work for where I am today. I had the opportunity to work with an extremely experienced and successful group of explorers and to look at things on a big- regional- scale which is my preferred approach to exploration to this day.

I was a victim, or beneficiary depending on how you look at it, of the merger between Teck and Cominco in 1999 and landed a job with a junior platinum explorer through the ex-Cominco network which served as my intro to the junior sector.

That company would merge within another junior to form Platinum Group Metals (TSX: PTM) and from that base both Mag Silver (TSX: MAG) and West Timmins would be born. That core group, that started with 5 bodies in 2002, discovered and helped to fund one gold mine which is now in production (West Timmins- former Thunder Creek deposit) and both silver and platinum mines which are under construction- not a bad track record.

JMN: You created great returns for shareholders of West Timmins. How do you plan to do the same for shareholders of Balmoral?

Wagner: The path to shareholder value in WTM, and in MAG and Platinum Group for that matter, turns on one principal factor- GRADE. High-grade deposits, in particular those in politically stable, mining friendly jurisdictions, are the most sought after assets in the mining business and also the most difficult to identify.

Like West Timmins before it, Balmoral has made several high-grade gold discoveries in Quebec and is driving value (and market permitting valuation) through the growth and definition of these discoveries.

JMN: These are obvious tough times for many junior mining companies. What sets Balmoral apart from the rest?

Wagner: Grade, location, scale, experience and cash. The grade of our gold discoveries in well up in the upper quartile, we work in what is arguably one of the best locations on the planet and in the shadow of what will soon be Canada's largest gold mine and control over 80% of the entire belt. We have an experienced team with multiple successful ventures to their credit and we have the cash to go out and continue to grow despite a very tough market.

Much like WTM during the financial crisis in 2008, we haven't shut the drills down and gone turtle as we believe in what we are doing, in the assets we are building and continue to work to grow value for our shareholders.

JMN: Of all the discoveries you have made to date along your land package, which excites you the most and why?

Wagner: The most exciting discoveries are the ones at Martiniere. We have two intersecting high-grade gold bearing structures on the property, which is a rare thing in the gold world and as a result we are seeing the emergence of a large, high-grade gold system characterized by multiple zones and local bonanza grades.

Despite almost two years of drilling in and around this system we still don't know where the boundaries are on it and any time you can't find the edges of a new discovery, the exploration team and the President are pretty happy campers.

JMN: Apart from the obvious gold potential at Martiniere, tell us about prospects for a VMS discovery of merit.

Wagner: While our principal focus is on the gold potential in the belt, we are very cognizant that there is potential for other styles of mineralization within our vast land holdings. Just to the south of our Detour Trend Gold Project sits the former producing Selbaie Cu-Zn-Au-Ag mine- a 50+ million tonne (Mt) company maker of a deposit, and to the east the rich Mattagami camp which has hosted a number of VMS discoveries.

We have intersected a couple of smaller VMS systems to date in our exploration as well as a zone of anomalous nickel-copper-PGE mineralization which needs follow-up. We've also seen some evidence of a Lac des Iles type Pt-Pd system on the property, all of which sit in our pipeline moving forward. Our former chairman at WTM, the late Wayne O'Connor, used to refer to Abitibi as the earth's treasure box because of the abundance of opportunities presented by the geology and that's very appropriate to our project.

JMN: What major milestones do you expect Balmoral to accomplish in 2013 and 2014?

Wagner: Our current drive is to outline the full extent of the Martiniere high-grade gold system and on that path we are aiming to have our first NI 43-101 resource published on the property be the end of 2013. We've put this off a couple of times after new discoveries significantly expanded the scale and scope of the system- and we just announced another 500 metre expansion- but will still aim to provide a resource on the more advanced parts of the system this year. Then it's about further expansion in 2014 and obviously seeing what we can do to add to that resource inventory through new discoveries in the area.

JMN: What about for 2015 and beyond?

Wagner: If Martiniere continues to produce the kinds of results we have seen over the last 18 months then there may very well not be a "beyond." High-grade gold deposits are rare, highly sought after commodities and with many cashed up producers in the area looking for the kind of asset we are delineating (look no further than the current battle over Aurizon, a similar type of deposit just south of us) there is a good chance as this project gets further outlined that there will be a buyer out there and a reward for the shareholders who have been patient through a tough market

JMN: Your neighbor to the east, Detour Gold, just commenced production at its Detour Lake Mine. How do you feel this could affect the future prospects of Balmoral?

Wagner: First of all Mr. Panneton and his team deserve congratulations for reaching that milestone on budget and on time- a rare feat in the industry today. Detour will be the focus of a great deal of attention over the next several months, a bright spotlight on the horizon which we can use to help focus investors on what we are doing, in particular with a grade several times what Detour will be mining.

Over the longer haul the $1.5 billion in infrastructure in place at Detour provides a tremendous magnet for other operations and opportunities in the belt where Balmoral controls roughly 80% of the ground. The value in the large land holding will be unlocked over time with that size an asset sitting next door.

JMN: Moving our attention to the junior resource sector, what is the biggest challenge it faces right now?

Wagner: I think there are two major challenges, one external, one internal. On the external front the "trade driven mentality" which has seen the creation of multi-layered derivatives and their second cousins- ETF's- on the big stage has seen the junior resource space invaded by traders, rather than investors, over the last several years when resources were "the place to be".

The unprecedented nature of this activity on our space has created the kind of volatility and short timeline investing which is very difficult for the more traditional high-risk/high-reward investor to stomach. Fewer investors = less capital, simple equation. Not sure what the answer is on that front but it's impact has been dramatic- both to the upside through 2006-2007 and to the downside over the last couple of years.

The second is internal and related to quality. Funding will still find quality projects and teams. As a sector we have simply not been putting enough quality assets and opportunities in front of our investors to have earned their trust (or maybe just putting too many low quality assets out there).

This reaches all the way through to the majors where the drive to increase gold production has led to mining lower quality, higher cost deposits and despite higher prices has not produced the kinds of margins one would expect.

On the junior end there are too many projects being re-hashed (as opposed to re-thought) due to higher metal prices or projects touted that are solely dependent on those prices. Even if those prices are maintained these are low margin projects which shouldn't see the light of day. We are seeing a fairly rapid sorting of companies with those combining better quality projects and sounder management teams attracting a shrinking capital pool.

Unfortunately the result of the two is a widening gap between value, as defined by what is in the ground, and valuation as defined by the market which makes it even more costly to finance good projects reducing the upside for the resource investor. Typically this is a short term (2-3 year) situation and part of the "normal" business cycle for the industry. Marginal projects simply not are getting built or moved forward which- for the long term health of the industry, is probably a good thing.

In the precious metal business, to quote Dan MacInnis whose an advisor to the Company, there is a saying that "not all ounces are created equally" and that has become very clear over the last several years with company's touting sub-gram, half gram gold deposits when most major companies core assets are in the multi-gram range, like Goldcorp's Red Lake and Eleonore deposits. Which ounces would you rather own and which are likely to be more profitable.

JMN: That aside, what excites you about the future of the junior resource sector? What major trends do you see forthcoming?

Wagner: The same thing at always excites me- discovery. There is really no other sector of the market where a single event, a single drill hole, can change the fortune of a company and unlock so much value for its investors as the junior resource space. As significant discoveries become rarer this will likely be truer than ever.

In terms of trends I think the math is pretty simple. With discovery rates down signficantly, and demand steady or growing, I see a longer term picture which is very bullish for the diligent and successful explorers and for those willing to look beyond the headlines and short term political agendas and invest in quality opportunities throughout the junior resource space. We aren't creating any new mineral deposits today but during our lifetimes we will exhaust hundreds. Thus the value of each new discovery will only become more significant over time.

JMN: Anything else you'd like to add?

Wagner: Just to thank you for the opportunity to reach out to your readers and to remind them that some things never go out of style- and that high-grade Canadian gold discoveries like the one that Balmoral is outlining at Martiniere remain as stylish today as they were a 100 years ago when the first discoveries were made in the wilds of northern Canada.

Balmoral Extends Bug Lake Gold Zone by 350 Metres-Doubles Strike Extent, Martiniere Property, Quebec
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - May 13, 2013) - Balmoral Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:BAR)(OTCQX:BALMF) -

-- Continues to Intersect High Grade Gold Mineralization in Hanging Wall
and Footwall including 10.65 g/t gold over 3.34 metres
-- Bug Lake Zone Remains Open in All Directions

Balmoral Resources Ltd. ("Balmoral" or the "Company") today reported that widely spaced drilling has successfully extended the Bug Lake Gold Zone by 350 metres to the south, effectively doubling the known strike extent of the Zone. With the southern-most hole of the current program returning some of the strongest intercepts reported today the Zone remains open to the south and to depth on all sections. The Bug Lake Trend, which includes the Bug Lake, BL Hanging Wall and BL Footwall Zones, is one of two prominent gold bearing trends located on Balmoral's Martiniere Property. The Martiniere Property forms part of the Company's wholly owned 82 kilometre long Detour Gold Trend Project in Quebec.

"Our winter program focused on expanding the scale of the Martiniere Gold system, and has now successfully doubled the known extent of both the Martiniere West and Bug Lake Gold Trends, with both remaining open for additional expansion," said Darin Wagner, President and CEO of Balmoral Resources. "Our planned summer diamond drill program, which is fully funded, will work to quantify the potential economic impact of the recent expansions and further delineate the extensive zones of gold mineralization located along both trends and elsewhere within the expanding Martiniere Gold System."

Broad zones of anomalous gold mineralization, ranging from 8.84 to 68.63 metres in down-hole width, were intersected in each of the eleven holes which traced the southern continuation of the Bug Lake Gold Zone. Ten of eleven reported holes returned individual intercepts of greater than 3.00 g/t gold (see Table 1 below). Highlighted intercepts include 10.65 g/t gold over 3.34 metres in hole MDE-13-94, 10.38 g/t gold over 2.66 metres in Hole MDE-13-104 at the southern end of the trend and a bonanza grade intercept of 129.00 g/t gold over 0.43 metres in hole MDE-13-92. Closer spaced drilling will be required to determine the extent/orientation of the higher grade sub-zone intercepts and their relationship to similar high-grade zones located to the north. The southern segment of the Bug Lake Gold Zone is offset approximately 75 metres to the northwest (and an as yet undetermined vertical amount) from the previously drilled, and open ended northern segment of the Zone. See revised plan map of the Bug Lake Zone located on the Company's website at www.balmoralresources.com.

In addition high-grade gold intercepts in the footwall to the Bug Lake Gold Zone, of 25.20 g/t gold over 1.00 metre in hole MDE-13-91 and 21.06 g/t over 0.45 metres in hole MDE-13-104 (the two most southerly holes of the program collared approximately 95 metres apart), may indicate the discovery of another zone of mineralization similar to the high grade Footwall Zone located to the north.

(i) Reported drill intercepts are not true widths. At this time there is
insufficient data with respect to the shape of the mineralization to
calculate true orientations in space.
(ii) Collared into porphyry and did not test Upper Bug target.

Geological Interpretation

Drilling was completed on sections located between 50 and 95 metres apart in an attempt to locate and trace the southern continuation of the Bug Lake Gold Zone. A northwest-trending fault offsets the southern continuation of the Bug Lake fault system and related gold mineralization by approximately 75 metres to the northwest from the previously tested area to the north. At this point the vertical offset along this structure remains undetermined.

Along the previously discovered northern segment of the Bug Lake Trend the broad zone of anomalous gold mineralization which marks the Bug Lake Gold Zone is typically located west of a prominent, trend/zone parallel quartz porphyry dyke, between the dyke and the base of the Bug Lake Fault located further west. To the south of the offset the principal zone of anomalous gold mineralization gradually migrates to the east or upper side of the quartz porphyry dyke (Upper Bug Lake Gold Zone) and the dyke itself may mark the base of the Bug Lake Fault. Mineralization remains similar and is characterized by broad zones of silicification, quartz+/-carbonate veining, localized shearing and 1-15% fine grained disseminated pyrite hosted mainly in mafic volcanic and lesser sedimentary rocks. Higher gold grades are typically associated with increases in pyrite content and/or quartz-vein hosted, visible gold mineralization.

Drill results from holes MDE-13-95 to MDE-13-103 and MDE-13-105 106, drilled to test the northern and depth extensions of the Bug Lake Gold Zone remain pending, as well as holes MDW-13-65 to MDW-13-73 drilled to test for lateral extensions of the Martiniere West Zone.

Quality Control

Mr. Darin Wagner (P.Geo.), President and CEO of the Company, is the non-independent qualified person for the technical disclosure contained in this news release. Mr. Wagner has supervised the work programs on the Martiniere Property, visited the property on multiple occasions, examined the drill core and/or photographs from the holes summarized in this release, discussed, reviewed the results with senior on-site geological staff and reviewed the available analytical and quality control results.

Following receipt of assays visual analysis of mineralized intercepts is conducted and additional analysis may be requested. ALS Minerals is ISO 9001:2008 certified and the Val d'Or facilities are ISO 17025 certified for gold analysis.

Balmoral Announces Nickel-Copper-PGE Discovery at Grasset, Detour Gold Trend Project, Quebec
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 23, 2012) - Balmoral Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:BAR)(OTCQX:BALMF) ("Balmoral" or the "Company") today reported a new discovery of nickel-copper-platinum group metal mineralization on the Company's wholly owned Grasset Property. Drill hole GR-12-09 intersected a 9.17 metre interval which returned 0.51% nickel, 0.09% copper and 0.50 g/t platinum+palladium+gold. Individual assays returned a high of 1.34% nickel, 0.17% copper and 0.71 g/t platinum+palladium+gold over 0.40 metres from a band of semi-massive sulphide mineralization.

The magmatic, Ni-Cu-PGE sulphide discovery is hosted in an ultramafic intrusion near its contact with the Sunday Lake Deformation Zone. Mineralization occurs in the form of disseminated pyrrhotite and pendlandite with a pyroxenite body. The mineralized interval is located at, or near, the extreme southeastern end of a 1,000 metre long airborne electromagnetic conductor. The same suite of ultramafic rocks had previously returned anomalous Ni-Cu-PGE mineralization over 8,300 metres to the northwest on the Company's Fenelon Property. There is little drill testing along the interpreted trend of the ultramafic host unit between the discovery announced today and the historic work noted above. A map highlighting the new discovery can be viewed at www.balmoralresources.com.

"The Abitibi is home to a wide array of deposit types including nickel producers," said Darin Wagner, President and CEO of Balmoral Resources. "The discovery of nickel-copper-PGE mineralization at Grasset continues to enhance the potential of our Detour Trend Project and adds another target for follow-up and expansion. With a kilometre long conductor remaining to be tested, and anomalous mineralization of this nature known over 8.0 kilometres to the northwest, there is an opportunity for a nickel-copper-PGE system of considerable scale to emerge across the Grasset and Fenelon properties."

Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide Target

Drill holes GR-12-14 and GR-12-15 were drilled approximately 1400 metres north-northwest of the Grasset gold discovery to test a 400 metre long coincident airborne magnetic-electromagnetic anomaly. Both holes collared in a sequence of felsic volcanic rocks and intersected a four to five metre wide zone of massive to semi-massive magnetite, pyrrhotite and pyrite with minor chalcopyrite. The mineralized zone occurs at or near the contact between rhyolite and mafic/ultramafic volcanic rocks. The mineralization is associated with moderate to strong chlorite alteration and interpreted to be of VMS origin.

Balmoral's Grasset Property is part of the Company's Detour Gold Trend Project which extends for 82 kilometres along the Detour-Sunday Lake Deformation Zone in Central Quebec. The Grasset Property is located approximately 10 kilometres east of the Company's Fenelon gold zone, 40 kilometres east of the Martiniere gold discoveries and 90 kilometres east of Detour Gold deposit. Pending results from the winter 2012 drill program include results from 8 holes at Martiniere West and 4 holes from the Martiniere East area - all of which are awaiting final QAQC confirmation. Drilling is anticipated to resume on the Project during the first two weeks of June.

In addition the Company has been advised by funding partner GTA Resources and Mining Inc. that 6 holes have now been completed on the Northshore Property near Thunder Bay, Ontario. Recent results from Northshore include an intercept of 240 metres grading 1.41 g/t gold from the Afric Gold Zone (see NR12-11; April 18, 2012).

Balmoral Provides Northshore Property Update

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - June 6, 2012) - Balmoral Resources Ltd. ("Balmoral" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:BAR)(OTCQX:BALMF) announced that the Company has received the following update regarding exploration progress on the Company's Northshore Property from GTA Resources and Mining Inc. ("GTA"). GTA is currently funding exploration on the Northshore Property.

Phase 2 Drilling Completed

The Phase 2 diamond drilling program, which consisted of eight drill holes (WB-12-13 to WB-12-20) totalling 2,431 metres has now been completed. Drilling focussed on demonstrating continuity and expanding the known extent of gold mineralization associated with the broad Afric Zone and further testing the continuity to depth of the high-grade Audney and Caly vein systems which form part of Afric Gold Zone.

On April 18, 2012 Balmoral and GTA announced assay results from holes WB-12-13 and WB-12-14 (see Balmoral news release NR12-11). Results were highlighted by:

- Hole WB-12-14 which returned an Afric Zone intercept of 240.00 metres grading 1.41 g/t gold (uncapped; 0.99 g/t gold capped);
- A high-grade intercept through the Caly Vein System in the same hole of 7.82 g/t gold over a core length of 12.00 metres; and
- The extension of the Afric Zone to over 200 metres along strike and to a vertical depth of 190 metres, the Zone remaining open in all directions.

GTA has indicated that assay results from holes WB-12-15 to WB-12-20 remain pending and will be provided to the Company as they become available.

Mapping and Prospecting

A surface mapping and prospecting program is currently underway on the Property in advance of the planned Phase 3 drill program which is anticipated to commence mid-summer 2012. The surface work program will target expansions to the known high-grade vein systems on the Property and relating the abundant gold mineralization located outside the area of current and historic drilling to the Afric Gold Zone.

The Company has also been advised that it can expect receipt of a new NI43-101 technical report on the Northshore Property from GTA in the near future. Once the report has been received it will be posted on the Company's website and filed, along with the rest of the Company's corporate disclosure materials, at www.sedar.com.

GTA is currently in the first year of an Option Earn-in Agreement with Balmoral whereby GTA can earn an initial 51% interest in the Northshore Property by funding $2,500,000 in exploration, issuing to Balmoral 2,500,000 common shares and making cash payments of $50,000 over three years. Balmoral currently controls 1,550,000 common shares and 225,000 share purchase warrants in the common stock of GTA and is scheduled to receive, at GTA's option, an additional 500,000 common shares and $15,000 on September 27, 2012 - the first anniversary of the Option Agreement.

Drilling Resumes on Balmoral's Northshore Property, Ontario

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Aug. 20, 2012) - Balmoral Resources Ltd. ("Balmoral" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:BAR)(OTCQX:BALMF) has been advised by GTA Resources and Mining Inc. ("GTA") (TSX VENTURE:GTA) that drilling has resumed on the Company's Northshore Property located in the Hemlo-Schreiber greenstone belt of Ontario. The Phase 3 drilling program will consist of approximately 20 diamond drill holes totaling a minimum of 5,000 metres.

According to GTA, drilling will target further expansion of the Afric Gold Zone and high-grade Audney and Caly vein systems contained there-in. To date drilling by GTA has confirmed the presence of gold mineralization associated with the broad Afric Gold Zone for 280 metres in an east-west direction and to vertical depths in excess of 300 metres (see NR12-18, July, 12, 2012 at www.balmoralresources.com). The mineralized corridor remains open to the east, west, north and to depth.

Recent highlights from drilling at Northshore have included intercepts of 0.90 g/t gold over 143.00 metres (WB-12-15) and 1.41 g/t gold over 240.00 metres (WB-12-17) (see news releases NR12-11 and NR12-18, respectively). The Audney and Caly systems have returned numerous high-grade gold intercepts highlighted by 13.23 g/t gold over 6.50 metres and 12.49 g/t gold over 33.80 metres, respectively (see NR12-03; Feb. 14, 2012).

"With the success of our exploration efforts and on-going drilling on the Martiniere Property in Quebec and resumption of drilling at Northshore, our shareholders should have a great deal to look forward to this fall," said Darin Wagner, President and CEO of Balmoral.

Exploration work on the Northshore Property is being funded by GTA as part of their First Option earn-in requirements under an Option Agreement announced July 27, 2011 (see NR11-17). Balmoral currently holds approximately 7.0% of the issued and outstanding shares of GTA.

Mr. Darin Wagner (P.Geo.), President and CEO of the Company, is the non-independent qualified person for the technical disclosure contained in this news release. Mr. Wagner has reviewed the results of the GTA work programs completed to date on the Northshore Property, visited the property on multiple occasions, examined the drill core from the holes summarized in this release and reviewed the available analytical and quality control results.

Balmoral Discovers Three More Broad Areas of Gold Mineralization on Martiniere Property, Quebec
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Aug. 29, 2012) - Balmoral Resources Ltd. ("Balmoral" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:BAR)(OTCQX:BALMF) reported today that exploration drilling on its Martiniere Property in Central Quebec, conducted well outside the previously known extent of the Martiniere Gold System, has intersected three new, broad areas of gold mineralization. The new discoveries materially expand the scale and potential of the gold mineralized system on the Property. In addition to the three new gold discoveries, the Company also intersected a wide interval of anomalous zinc mineralization while testing a new VMS target on the Property. The Martiniere Property, centered approximately 45 kilometres east of the Detour Lake gold deposit, is centrally located within Balmoral's 82 kilometre long Detour Trend Gold Project in Quebec, Canada.

The three new discoveries returned anomalous gold mineralization over down hole intervals of 82.00, 25.97 and 11.00 metres (see table below). The new discoveries are located 440 metres southwest, 1,200 metres west and 2,050 metres southwest of the Company's recently announced bonanza grade gold discovery in hole MDE-12-29 which returned 273 g/t gold over 3.88 metres (see NR12-19; August 16, 2012).

"Today's discoveries, in three previously untested areas of the Martiniere Property, continue to demonstrate just how regionally extensive this gold bearing system is and the tremendous opportunity it represents for the Company," said Darin Wagner, President and CEO of Balmoral Resources.

Details

Drill hole MDX-12-01 was collared approximately 450 metres southeast of, and in the footwall to, the Martiniere West Zone to test an airborne EM anomaly. The hole intersected graphitic, pyrite bearing mudstone above the West Gabbro contact. Within the marginal phase of the West Gabbro, an 82 metre wide interval of silica veining, weak to moderate alteration, sulphide mineralization and anomalous gold values was intersected. The zone of anomalous gold mineralization bears strong similarities to the peripheral areas surrounding the high grade Martiniere West Zone.

MDX-12-02, collared 230 metres west-northwest of the current westernmost intercept in the West Zone targeted an interpreted shear structure cutting the West Gabbro. This hole intersected a 25.97 metre wide interval of weak alteration and quartz-carbonate veining which returned anomalous gold mineralization and may indicate the presence of a new gold mineralized structure in this area which has not been tested by any historic drilling. Hole MDX-12-04, located approximately 600 metres further south also intersected a wide interval of shearing, porphyry dyking and alteration.

Hole MDX-12-03 targeted one of a series of EM conductors located on the eastern half of the Property approximately 5.8 kilometres east of the West Zone. The hole intersected, at a relatively low angle to core axis, a 25.80 metre wide interval of massive to semi-massive pyrite, pyrrhotite and graphitic mudstone associated with strongly anomalous zinc and elevated copper, lead and cadmium values. A number of airborne EM conductors in this same area remain untested.

Drill hole MDX-12-05 successfully intersected a zone of anomalous gold mineralization associated with quartz-carbonate veining at the contact between sheared sedimentary and mafic intrusive lithologies. Hole MDX-12-06, drilled approximately 300 metres to the south of hole MDX-12-05, collared and remained in the sedimentary sequence intersecting narrow intervals of anomalous gold mineralization.

Detour East

The Company also reported the results of 8 drill holes, (DTE-12-08 to -15) totaling approximately 2,650 metres, completed on the Detour East Property, which also forms part of the Detour Trend Gold Project. The Detour East program was successful in identifying and/or confirming the presence of several strong shear/deformation corridors on the property with 6 of 8 holes intersecting significant shear zones. Several weakly anomalous gold zones were intersected with individual assay values ranging from below detection to a high of 3.06 g/t gold over 0.60 metres in hole DTE-12-08 (285.40 to 286.00 metres). With this information now in hand the Company can begin targeting potentially productive sites along these structures on the Property during the next phase of drilling. A program of geochemical sampling is currently underway on the Detour East Property to assist with the next phase of drill targeting.

Guidance

Analytical results from an additional 38 drill holes completed on the Martiniere Property remain pending at this time. The Company anticipates that results from a series of five holes targeting extensions of the high-grade West Zone will be the next series of holes available for release. These holes were designed to test the continuity of the West Zone to a vertical depth of approximately 350 metres, or approximately 100 metres (30%) deeper than the previous deepest intercepts on the Zone.

Additional results from testing of the Bug Lake Zone, ME-16 Area, Footwall discovery and a number of the high-grade vein systems in the Martiniere East area will be released as they become available over the next 6-8 weeks.

Drilling has now been temporarily suspended on the Martiniere Property to allow the large back log of assay data to clear. The Company currently anticipates that drilling will resume in September and continue into the fall as conditions permit before a brief hiatus during freeze-up.

Quality Control

Mr. Darin Wagner (P.Geo.), President and CEO of the Company, is the non-independent qualified person for the technical disclosure contained in this news release. Mr. Wagner has supervised the work programs on the Martiniere and Detour East Properties, visited the properties on multiple occasions, examined the drill core from the holes summarized in this release and reviewed the available analytical and quality control results.

November:

Hi Kevin, I am the chap ( Mountainpose) who posted the information you re-posted. Thanks for the acknowledgement. Since there seems to be some interest I will give you my take now.

First I am very good with the technicals and the stock is now in a new uptrend.

http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=BAR.V&p=60&b=5&g=0&id=p9461…

The stock tactically, (as described in my earlier message), has done and is now doing exactly what I believed would happen. Down to $0.92 and today at $0.96. There is less than a week to go before the warrants will expire. I expect the shares to be well over a dollar by expiary as the "visuals" would look terrible if the stock was at $0.94-$0.96. I added to my position yesterday after we traded over $0.95. Also gold is also entering a new bullish trend that began about five days ago. I do not need to get into the fundamentals as they are extraordinary as you all know. And a final thought. If you were sprott and wanted a good position in BAR what do you think entering an order for 12 million shares would do to the price? No need to be stupid now. The warrants will be exercised as it is a superb way to get a great position at a bargain price. Finally as mentioned Darin Wagner was a client of mine for over fifteen years until I retired. I'll try and reachhim and see what he has to say... Thanks and good luck. P.S. If you hven't got the message now is the time to buy the shares!

Balmoral Commences 2013 Drill Program on Detour Gold Trend

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Jan. 18, 2013) - Balmoral Resources Ltd. ("Balmoral" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:BAR)(OTCQX:BALMF) announced today that the 2013 drill program has commenced on the Company's wholly owned Detour Gold Trend Project in Central Quebec. The principal focus of the 2013 winter drill program will be the further delineation and expansion of the known zones on the Martiniere Property.

During 2012 the Company successfully continued the expansion of the high grade Martiniere West Zone on the Martiniere Property. In addition, exploration drilling led to the discovery of several new high-grade gold zones along and proximal to the Bug Lake fault, approximately 600 metres to the northeast of the West Zone. The Bug Lake discoveries are associated with a second major gold bearing structure on the Property - significantly enhancing the overall potential of the gold system in the Martiniere area. All known zones remain open for expansion at shallow depths.

Initial drilling will target a number of high-priority exploration targets outside the known gold zones within the broader Martiniere Property, prior to commencement of expansion work on the known zones. This sequencing will allow for additional testing of any new discoveries, following receipt of assays, during the current winter program. Balmoral anticipates completing at least 14,000 metres of drilling during this phase of testing, with additional drilling already planned for the spring-summer season. The Company is fully-funded to complete its 2013 objectives.

"With the exceptional success of our summer/fall 2012 drill programs in expanding the known zones of mineralization and making new discoveries in the Martiniere area, we have high expectations for our work on the Detour Gold Trend Project in 2013," said Darin Wagner, President and CEO of Balmoral Resources Ltd.

Balmoral has also commenced a ground geophysical program which will include the completion of at least 50 line kilometres of induced polarization surveying ("I.P.") on the Company's Doigt and Harri properties. The two properties are located northwest and due east of the Martiniere Property. Neither of these properties has been drill tested by the Company to date and both represent fertile ground for the discovery of new gold and/or base metal systems similar to those currently being delineated by the Company

Balmoral More Than Doubles Strike Extent of West Zone Style Gold Mineralization at Martiniere
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - March 4, 2013) -

-- Extends High-Grade Gold System by Over 500 Metres
-- System Remains Open in All Directions for Further Expansion

Balmoral Resources Ltd. ("Balmoral" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:BAR)(OTCQX:BALMF) today reported that initial results from the on-going Winter 2013 drill program on its Martiniere Property in Quebec have confirmed a major expansion of the Martiniere Gold System. The Martiniere Property forms part of the Company's wholly owned 82 kilometre long Detour Gold Trend Project in Quebec.

Results from four widely spaced holes drilled to the southwest along projected strike from the high-grade Martiniere West Zone, encountered similar high-grade gold mineralization up to 510 metres along strike from the previously known southwest margin of the West Zone. High-grade gold intercepts have now been reported for over 850 metres along this structural trend, from the northeastern margin of the West Zone to the southwestern-most hole drilled to date (MDX-13-17a). These results also increase the known extent of the Martiniere gold system, which includes the West, Central, ME-16 and Bug Lake area Zones, to approximately 2,000 metres in a northeast-southwest direction (See Figure below) and it remains open-ended. Results were highlighted by an intercept of 6.71 g/t gold over 7.40 metres (including 12.28 g/t gold over 2.45 metres) in hole MDX-13-13, and hole MDX-13-17a which returned two separate high grade intercepts of 10.67 g/t gold over 2.45 metres and 8.19 g/t gold over 2.22 metres.

"More than doubling the known extent of West Zone style mineralization and having a very high rate of success with such widely spaced, first pass drill holes in this type of high-grade gold system further reinforces the scale and upside potential at Martiniere" said Darin Wagner, President and CEO of Balmoral Resources. "While it's too early to suggest continuity of these new intercepts with the more extensively drilled West Zone it's clear that the gold-bearing system remains strong well outside our previous drilling and that there is now potential to develop near surface, high-grade gold resources over a significantly expanded strike length."

Geological Interpretation

The high-grade gold intercepts in holes MDX-13-11, 13, 15 and 17 all occur along the projected strike of the West Zone. The gold mineralization in each hole is hosted within zones of weak to moderate shearing located within the same gabbroic intrusion as the West Zone. Anomalous to high-grade gold values within the sheared gabbro occur in association with moderate to strong silica flooding, quartz +/- carbonate veining and areas of increased (3-10%) sulphide (primarily pyrite) mineralization. All of these characteristics are in keeping with the known mineralization in the West Zone. The host gabbro body can be traced in geophysical data for an additional 500 metres to the southwest were it is anticipated to intersect the regional scale Sunday Lake Deformation Zone which hosts the multi-million ounce Detour Gold deposit 45 kilometres to the west. This area remains untested.

Four additional holes, MDX-13-8 to 10 and 12, tested a geochemical anomaly 300+ metres west of the holes reported above, on the west side of the Martiniere gabbro complex. These holes intersected a number of zones of alteration and veining but no significant gold mineralization. Hole MDX-13-14 tested an isolated geochemical anomaly located east of the projected strike of the West Zone trend and north of the Sunday Lake Deformation Zone intersecting weakly anomalous gold mineralization over narrow intervals associated with quartz-carbonate veining. Final results from holes MDX-13-16 and MDX-13-18, which tested a geochemical anomaly located two kilometres to the southwest along the Sunday Lake Deformation Zone remain pending.

Drilling continues with two drills on site at Martiniere. One is currently conducting expansion drilling in the immediate vicinity of the West Zone and the second is testing for shallow, along strike extensions of the Bug Lake Zone. Additional drilling in the area of the discoveries reported today is currently being planned. To date 30 drillholes, totaling 7,700 metres, have been completed since the Winter 2013 program was initiated in January. The Winter 2013 and planned Summer 2013 drill programs on the Detour Gold Trend project are fully funded.

Following receipt of assays visual analysis of mineralized intercepts is conducted and additional analysis may be requested. ALS Minerals is ISO 9001:2008 certified and the Val d'Or facilities are ISO 17025 certified for gold analysis.

Hallo Fantomas,

Balmoral Confirms High-Grade Ni-Cu-PGE Mineralization Over 45.28 Metres on New Horizon; Grasset Property, Detour Trend, Quebec
VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwired - May 20, 2014) -
• Intersects 45.28 metres grading 1.79% Nickel, 0.19% Copper, 0.42 g/t Platinum and 1.04 g/t Palladium
• Includes 17.60 metres grading 2.45% Ni, 0.31% Cu, 0.62 g/t Pt and 1.57 g/t Pd
Balmoral Resources Ltd. ("Balmoral" or the "Company") (TSX: BAR)(OTCQX: BALMF) today confirmed the discovery of high-grade nickel-copper-PGE mineralization associated with the previously highlighted (see NR14-09, April 30, 2014) net textured sulphide zone in hole GR-14-25. The net textured zone, one of four mineralized intervals in the hole, returned a near surface intercept of 1.79% nickel, 0.19% copper, 0.42 g/t platinum and 1.04 g/t palladium over 45.28 metres. This high-grade interval is capped by, and includes, 1.11 metres of massive to semi-massive sulphide which returned 10.60% Ni, 0.45% Cu, 2.04 g/t Pt and 5.23 g/t Pd, confirming the potential for very high grade nickel and PGE values within the system (see table below).
Hole GR-14-25 is the first hole on the property to intersect Horizon 3 of the Grasset Ultramafic Complex (see Figure 1 and Figure 2). This newly discovered, sulphide rich horizon is open in all directions and sits approximately 100 metres southwest of, and stratigraphically above, two other vertically oriented Ni-Cu-PGE mineralized horizons within the southern-most portion of this sparsely tested, up to 16 kilometre long, ultramafic sill complex.

* All intercepts reported are down hole lengths, not true thicknesses. Insufficient drilling has been completed to date to define the orientation of the mineralized zone in space
The 45.28 metre net-textured interval in GR-14-25 exhibits excellent internal continuity and uniformly exhibits strong nickel and PGE grades (See Figure 3). Today's results also confirm the presence of nickel-copper-PGE mineralization for over 840 metres laterally, and 300 metres vertically, along Horizon 1; and for over 540 metres laterally and 240 metres vertically along Horizon 2. The first test of Horizon 3 was hole GR-14-25 which intersected the high-grade mineralized zone at less than 100 metres vertical depth. All three mineralized horizons remain open in all directions, save Horizon 1 which appears to be terminated by the Sunday Lake Deformation Zone to the south. Massive nickel-copper-PGE bearing sulphides have been intersected along both Horizon 1 and Horizon 3 in the limited (10 holes) drilling completed to date.
The host Grasset Ultramafic Complex is interpreted to stretch for 16 kilometres across Balmoral's wholly owned Grasset and Fenelon Properties. It has seen only limited drilling, focused primarily in an area 8.3 kilometres northwest of the current discovery. Similar nickel-copper-PGE sulphide mineralization is known to occur in this area, suggesting significant potential for additional discoveries along the length of the Complex.
Recently received thin section analyses (see www.balmoralresources.com) indicate the presence of abundant pyrrhotite and pentlandite, with lesser chalcopyrite, magnetite (after chromite), pyrite and millerite (the latter a nickel sulphide with strong nickel tenure) within the high-grade, net textured zone. Pentlandite, which appears to host the bulk of the nickel mineralization, occurs as isolated mineral grains which the Company believes to be favourable from a metallurgical viewpoint.
The Company anticipates that drilling and geophysical work on the Grasset Property will resume, ground conditions permitting, in mid-June, followed shortly thereafter by the resumption of drilling on Balmoral's Martiniere high-grade gold property 40 kilometres to the west.
"The broad, high-grade nature of the Grasset Ni-Cu-PGE discovery provides Balmoral with a second exciting, near-term growth opportunity in Quebec" said Darin Wagner, President and CEO of Balmoral Resources. "With recent price increases demonstrating the sensitivity of the nickel market to political uncertainties in major producing regions, the lack of new nickel discoveries globally over the past several years, the strength of the grades, wide nature of the intercepts, significant PGE content and apparent scale of the mineralized system, the Grasset discovery would appear to position the Company to attract significant interest from investors in both the precious and base metal sectors."

MfG deMevesy
