Details about sale and use of pot in B.C.
      NATIONAL
      by THE CANADIAN PRESS

Posted Feb 5, 2018 2:46 pm PST Last Updated Feb 5, 2018 at 3:20 pm PST
VANCOUVER – British Columbia has announced details of how marijuana will be sold and regulated in the province once the federal government makes it legal later this year. Here’s a list of proposed regulations:

      — Pot will be sold in public and private stores, not where liquor or tobacco are sold.

      — Personal possession of non-medicinal marijuana for people who are at least 19 will be limited to 30 grams.

      — Marijuana smoking will be allowed in public places where tobacco smoking or vaping is permitted, but not in parks or beaches where children would go.

      — Adults will be permitted to grow up to four plants per household, but landlords are allowed to prohibit cultivation.

      — A 90-day driving ban will apply to anyone caught driving while drug-impaired, and the province will increase training for law enforcement officers to recognize impairment.

      — A registration process will be launched for people applying for a cannabis retail licence, but licences will not be issued without the support of local governments.

      — The changes are expected to be introduced in the spring legislative session.

NAC expected to open a network of retail cannabis stores in Manitoba by Q3 2018

OTTAWA, Feb. 16, 2018 /CNW/ - National Access Cannabis Corp. ("NAC" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: NAC), Canada's best practices leader in delivering secure, safe and responsible access to legal cannabis, today announced that the government of Manitoba has chosen the Company as one of four recipients of licenses to operate privately owned retail cannabis stores in the Province, conditional upon several factors, including completing necessary agreements and providing the required documentation as outlined in the Province's November 2017 Request for Proposals ("RFP"). Under the terms of the Retail Organization Agreement with the Manitoba Provincial Government, NAC will be permitted to build, develop and operate in approved municipalities in the Province. The number of locations remains subject to ongoing discussion with the Province.

"With our history in successfully operating nationwide medical cannabis clinics, strong First Nations and Licensed Producer relationships, combined with our deep knowledge of safety, security and harm reduction, NAC is perfectly suited to exceed Manitoba's current and future cannabis retail regulatory requirements," said Mark Goliger, Chief Executive Officer of NAC. "With the Province's decision today, Manitobans will have responsible, secure access to recreational marijuana once legalization occurs. We'd like to thank the team at Cannabis Compliance Inc. for their assistance in executing this successful RFP. We're excited about our company's future in recreational marijuana distribution and I look forward to providing you with updates as we develop these new locations."

NAC intends to deepen its relationships with CannaRoyalty Corp. (CSE: CRZ) (OTCQX: CNNRF), Cannabis Wheaton Income Corp. (TSX VENTURE: CBW), and Tilray, as it builds and develops a network of recreational cannabis stores in Manitoba in advance of the anticipated summer 2018 legalization of recreational marijuana in Canada.

      Cautionary Statements

This news release contains "forward-looking information" within the meaning of applicable securities laws relating to the expected timing of NAC opening retail cannabis stores in Manitoba, the completion of the conditions and documentation outlined in the RFP including the execution of necessary agreements, legalization of recreational cannabis in Canada and future cannabis regulatory retail requirements. Although the Corporation believes in light of the experience of its officers and directors, current conditions and expected future developments and other factors that have been considered appropriate that the expectations reflected in this forward-looking information are reasonable, undue reliance should not be placed on them because the Corporation can give no assurance that they will prove to be correct. Readers are cautioned to not place undue reliance on forward-looking information. Actual results and developments may differ materially from those that are currently contemplated by these statements depending on, among other things, the risks and failure to obtain distribution and operating licenses from applicable regulatory authorities. The Corporation undertakes no obligation to comment on analyses, expectations or statements made by third-parties in respect of the Corporation, its securities, or its financial or operating results (as applicable). Nachtrag vom 21.2.:
CANNABIS COMPLIANCE INC. (CCI) Announces Successful Retail Licence For Its Client National Access Cannabis (NAC) And Gears Up For Private Retail Consulting.
February 22, 2018 by Brian Wagner Leave a Comment

TORONTO, Feb. 21, 2018 /CNW/ – CANNABIS COMPLIANCE INC. (CCI) of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, is pleased to announce the conditional acceptance for securing cannabis retail licence in Manitoba for National Access Cannabis (NAC). “We are excited for our client, National Access Cannabis, for their success in the RFP process thus far to operate cannabis retail stores in Manitoba,” says Brian Wagner, CEO and Founder of CCI. “NAC is an established organization with an excellent senior team driving their success. We are privileged to support them in executing their plan to deliver secure, safe and responsible access to legal cannabis.”

Mark Goliger, CEO of National Access Cannabis said, “We’d like to thank the team at Cannabis Compliance Inc. for their assistance in executing this RFP. We’re excited about our company’s future in recreational cannabis retail and I look forward to providing updates as we develop our locations.”

Cannabis Compliance Inc. is pleased to announce strategic partnerships to support its retail compliance offerings, including Purolator, 3 Sixty Secure Corp, Airmed, Magal S3, and Merrco Payments. CCI will focus its inhouse resources on compliance related areas including facility design, security programs, operational procedures, auditing programs and provincial licensing support.

As western Canada prepares for a more private retail model for cannabis sales, CCI has been offering compliance readiness packages ahead of licence applications. The Province of Alberta has been the most progressive and decentralized model introduced among the provinces, with the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission (AGLC) announcing the retail licensing application process last week on February 16, 2018. Applications for cannabis retail stores can be submitted as early as March 6, 2018, making Alberta the first province to start the official private licensing process. While the AGLC is not formally capping the number of retail locations, they are anticipating around 250 stores to be licensed in 2018.

In British Columbia, the Liquor Control and Licensing Branch has announced its private retail licensing model as well, with an online application portal being launched at some point in the spring of 2018. Saskatchewan has also announced that it will license approximately 60 private retail stores, with distribution controlled by the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA).

      About Cannabis Compliance Inc.
Cannabis Compliance Inc. offers risk mitigation, due diligence and regulatory compliance for commercial cannabis producers and resellers around the world.

      https://globalnews.ca/news/3998441/marijuana-weed-legalizati…

Vielleicht später ja doch mal was mit Aurora 🤞
