Jetzt wird gebohrt und das ist gut so.
Melkior Resources Inc. ("Melkior") is pleased to announce that drilling has commenced on the Maseres Project. The drill contract is for a maximum of 5,000 meters of NQ drilling. Bedrock observations have locally established with reasonable certainty that the bedrock stratigraphy generally strikes parallel to magnetic and electromagnetic trends and dips moderately to the south. Drill holes are currently being drilled parallel to the grid lines and generally perpendicular to lithology.

The first drill hole (MS-19-1) has been collared on Line 22+00N at 0+60E, azimuth 045 at an inclination of -54. The hole is expected to be terminated at about 150m. The IP data indicates that there are three parallel targets within the grid area over a considerable strike length. MS-19-1 targets the most northerly of the IP zones and in addition to evaluating this target will establish the bedrock units north of the package of bedrock that hosts the target horizons.

The second hole (MS-19-2) is currently planned to step back about 145 meters, on the adjacent line to the north, and target the central anomalous IP zone. Depending on the success of the first hole, MS-19-2 maybe continued to evaluate the northern anomalous zone at depth as well.

The third hole (MS-19-3) is currently planned for Line 25+00N and target the southern anomalous zone. Depending on the success of the first hole and second hole, MS-19-3 may be continued to evaluate the central and or northern anomalous IP zones at depth. Taken together these three drill holes should provide a good understanding of the geological setting of the Maseres EM trend and the reason for its response. Future drill hole locations will leverage ongoing results of the completed drill holes and remain somewhat fluid in nature.

TMC Geophysics has provided Melkior with revised pseudo-sections and depth slices for the IP survey data in advance of final report delivery. The Melkior website has been updated and includes all of the updated maps and pseudo-sections:

Die heutige Veröffentlichung der Melkior Resources zu ihren aktuellen Arbeiten auf dem Maseres Project
      VMS Trend Established on Maseres

Melkior Resources Inc. ("Melkior ") is pleased to announce several prospective VMS sequences have been established on the Maseres Project. Maximum defined length of these parallel VMS sequences is 1.5 km. At present assay results are only available for the first five drill holes. Results from the most westerly of three parallel IP target zones (MS-19-4) has returned significant assay values (at less than 50 m depth) including 19.1 ppm Ag; 760 ppm Cu; 6,850 Pb; 17,400 ppm Zn. Follow-up drilling has already been completed to establish a base metal vector, assays are pending.

The maiden drill program on the Maseres Project has completed 4000 of 5000 meters drilling within sixteen drill holes. The drill program has already achieved the following objectives:

•-- Conclusively established the extension of the Urban Barry Greenstone Belt

•-- Identified VMS stratigraphy on the Maseres Project within the Urban Barry Greenstone Belt

•-- Identified the origin for the highly anomalous EM chargeability trend delineated initially by the VTEM survey and subsequently by the ground IP survey

•-- Identified the origin for the highly anomalous EM low resistivity trend delineated initially by the VTEM survey and subsequently by the ground IP survey round IP

•-- Established a geological bedrock source for the highly anomalous soil survey results over the area drilled.

•-- Confirmed the utility of using soil chemistry as an exploration tool for the 20km+ trend of EM anomalies on the Maseres Project.

•-- Validated the significance of the 20km+ trend of EM anomalies on the Maseres Project and elevated its exploration potential.

•-- Evaluated the relative chemical composition of three prospective VMS sequences along a 1.5 km strike length.

•-- Prioritized one of these VMS sequences for immediate continued drill targeting.

A discussion of the milestones achieved by this drill project has been prepared in support of this news release. Interested parties are encouraged to download and review this discussion for a better understanding of the drill results and their significance (http://www.melkior.com/2019_03_04_NR_Discussion.pdf ). The PDF document contains; a list of completed drill holes and their details; several maps that present the location of the completed drill holes on various overlays; maps presenting the assays received to date (projected to the surface) for the main VMS elements; core photographs of some of the rocks encountered within the drill program; a discussion of the project as it has developed so far.

Melkior - MASERES First Phase Drilling Completed

Melkior Resources Inc. ("Melkior") is pleased to announce that the first drill program on the Maseres Project has been completed. Twenty holes totaling 4,899 meters were constructed along 2.4 km of priority EM trend. Assays have only been completely received up to MS-19-7. Drill holes MS-19-8 to MS-19-20 (13 holes) have not yet been submitted or received in their entirety at present time. Complete assays should be available within four weeks, Phase 2 plans will be presented shortly thereafter. The Maseres drilling permit is the process of being renewed for 2019.

Melkior has advanced the Maseres Project consistently and aggressively since staking in March 2017. The 2,170-line kilometer GEOTECH VTEM plus time-domain helicopter borne magnetometer and EM survey was completed in March 2018. Ground truthing of these EM trends established the almost complete lack of bedrock exposure within these priority trends. Detailed soil sampling over the intriguing priority EM trends was undertaken through 2017 and 2018. To continue to advance the Maseres Project it was necessary to establish EM anomaly causation. The most prominent and accessible EM trend was selected as a focus area where a line cutting grid was established and ground geophysics conducted in November and December 2018. This ground work established the location of the EM anomalies with sufficient accuracy to permit drill targeting and the completion of the First Phase drilling campaign.

This initial phase of drilling is already considered to be highly successful, yet it is only the beginning, and all of the assays have not yet been received. Base metal mines are found in VMS stratigraphy, and VMS deposits are generally located in clusters. Melkior has in excess of 24 km of horizontal strike length of Priority EM anomalies on the Maseres Project. Melkior has established that the priority EM anomalies reflect the presence of VMS stratigraphy on the Maseres Project along 2.3 km of this trend. Melkior has over 20 km of additional strike length to investigate along the surface. The lack of structural complexity on the Maseres Project allows Melkior to progressively evaluate this VMS environment both along strike and to depth. This first drilling campaign encountered VMS, manifest primarily in iron and sulfur, but locally also with significant silver, lead and zinc. How far could you possibly be from a vent source and still have iron rich chemical sedimentary layers several meters thick, with credits of silver, lead and zinc?

These are extraordinarily challenging times yet Melkior has been advancing our exploration assets to create value for our shareholders. If a VMS mine is to be found on the Maseres Project, it will take commitment and perseverance, in addition to some significant exploration expenditures undertaken with intelligence. Melkior will continue beyond this initial drill program, it is currently being considered to establish very narrow ground IP grids along the additional 20+ km length of the of the priority VTEM EM anomalous trend. Each of these could then be targeted effectively with one drill hole across the stratigraphy to provide vectoring data to guide future exploration efforts.

A discussion of the complete assays should be released in about 4 weeks.

Melkior Resources Inc. has renewed its drill permit for the Maseres project in the Urban-Barry camp. The renewed permit is valid until March 31, 2020.

Melkior confirms that Geologica Groupe-Conseil Inc. has arrived on site to commence phase 1 of the summer exploration program. The summer program will be oriented towards exploration for potential auriferous structural controls and base metals targets. A summary of the 3 phases planned for the summer program can be viewed at the link below: http://www.melkior.com/melkior-contracts-consulting-firm-for…

Jim Deluce, CEO of Melkior remarks, "We are glad to have the drilling permit renewed until March 2020. With the summer program commencing this week, any high priority targets identified will be evaluated for future drilling."

      About the Maseres Project:

Melkior has advanced the Maseres Project consistently and aggressively since staking in March 2017. The 2,170-line kilometer GEOTECH VTEM plus time-domain helicopter-borne magnetometer and EM survey was completed in March 2018.

      Denton UAV-MAG; Survey Completed

Timmins, Ontario. Melkior Resources Inc. (“Melkior”) is pleased to announce that the detailed magnetic maps for the Denton Project have been received. A compilation and interpretation map has been compiled, it is available for download at:

      http://www.melkior.com/rch-content/uploads/Denton_Drone_Mag_…" target="_blank" rel="nofollow ugc noopener">http://www.melkior.com/rch-content/uploads/Denton_Drone_Mag_…

The new magnetic map, considered with other relevant geological information, indicates that the Denton Project may have considerable gold potential. Published geological maps indicate that the Porcupine Destor Fault Zone (PDFZ) crosses the southern portion of the claim group, the PDFZ is intersected by a converging sequence of ultramafic volcanic units.

Of special interest is a series of MDI occurrences that extend from the Denton Project northeasterly towards the Tahoe Canada/ Lakeshore Mine. This potential mineralized trend from the Denton Project to the northeast lies exclusively within the land holdings of Tahoe Canada.

One Tahoe’s last exploration projects in Timmins West, before their curtailing of exploration due to problems in Guatemala, was located six kilometers northeast of the Denton Project (yellow dots on the compilation map). Tahoe Canada drilled a fence of holes over the area that hosts historic Mineral Deposit Inventories: MDI42A05SE00041, MDI42A05SE00059, MDI42A05NE00114, MDI42A05SE00054.

These MDI’s highlight the occurrence of gold mineralization associated with the contact of ultramafic, mafic volcanic rocks and hematized feldspar porphyries, locally with gold mineralization. A review of the MDI files and their locations indicates that this association continues unabated to the boundary of the Denton Project. Interested parties are encouraged to download and review the above Map that highlights this information.

Melkior is extremely encouraged the magnetics survey validates the ultramafic trend. The presence of the PDFZ on the southern portion of the claim group in conjunction with the MDI trend illustrates the high exploration potential of the Denton project. The potential for gold mineralization associated with the contacts between mafic, ultramafic units and feldspar porphyries appears to extend mineralization similar to the Rusk Zone at the Tahoe mine towards the Denton Project.

Melkior is in the process of defining an exploration plan and budgets for the remainder of 2019.

Melkior - Hemlo 2019 Exploration Update

Timmins, Ontario - TheNewswire - June 25, 2019 - Melkior Resources Inc. ("Melkior") is pleased to report that the GEOTECH helicopter borne EM, magnetometer survey over the entire White Lake Hemlo Project has been completed. Melkior is primarily targeting "Hemlo Style" mineralization and as such priority targets are expected to have an EM signature. The available information suggests that disseminated/chargeable sulphide mineralization are present within a favorable geological setting on the White Lake Project.

However, the same information also suggests that it likely does not extend to the surface. The on-site surface gold showings identified to date likely represent leakage from a deeper mineralized source. Geotech reports "... the VTEM data shows several discrete EM anomalies in the White Lake Project area. The TAU images show a collection of conductive bodies in the southern portion of the block. These are associated with high magnetic gradient areas. According to the resistivity depth images, they lie with their tops around 100m from surface." The White Lake Project is located approximately 15 km northeast of the Hemlo Gold Mine currently operated by Barrick Gold Corporation.

The VTEM survey was instrumental in selecting a 2km x 2 km core focus area for continued exploration. This area includes the previously defined geological trend that hosts the Carroll-MacDougall Gold Occurrence a 82.5 g/t gold grab sample and rocks described as similar to those that host ore at Teck Corona. A discussion of the VTEM results and how it relates to other exploration data is available for interested parties using the following links:

--Select RDI over the core focus area

Interested parties are encouraged to review the above noted supporting documents for a better understanding of the White Lake Project, Hemlo. The Kakeeway claim has an existing MNDM Exploration Permit in good standing that permits drilling.

Melkior Advances on Several Fronts on Maseres

Timmins, Ontario - TheNewswire - July 11, 2019 - Melkior Resources Inc. ("Melkior") (TSXV:MKR) is pleased to announce that the field crews on the Maseres property (the "Property") are well at work with more than 200 outcrops visited, mapped, located and described with more than 50 samples sent to the laboratory. Approximately 40% of the Property has been covered with emphasis on Geotech's airborne EM conductors and junction of structures which are potentially favorable for base and precious metals respectively.

The geological units observed in the north half of the Property mostly consist of amphibolite and pegmatite dykes as well as sedimentary formations. Gneisses and tonalite bodies were also observed away from the sedimentary formations.

The EM conductors are explained by sulphide rich formational horizons accompanied by banded silica and iron oxides (pyrrhotite, chert, pyrite, magnetite and graphite), probable Sulphide Iron Formation (BIF). Local and punctual chalcopyrite specs were also observed.

Potential evidence of hydrothermal alteration was located approximately 100 meters NW of surface conductor No.3 containing centimetric veinlets of red feldspar, quartz, green sericite and 1% pyrite coincidentally nearby the best A-Horizon Au result.

These observations will be followed up by detailed mapping and sampling and the following work program:

      - Continue the prospection of geophysical targets such as areas of increased conductivity.

      - Continue the validation of areas where a reduction in the conductivity associated with low magnetic anomalies (possible alteration zone with mineralization).

      - Verify the obvious targets along faults, especially fault intersections in the northern and southern parts of the property.

      - Complete the reconnaissance mapping of the Property, outside of the EM survey limits with emphasis on areas of interpreted faults and their intersections.

      - Outcrop stripping on the BM3 anomaly and detailed mapping of surroundings to improve understanding of the potential hydrothermal alteration found on outcrop #LG-19-019-MM (permit authorization in process and in demand).

      - Thin section on sample #A0364454 to confirm mineralogy of veinlets and alteration.

      - Other Beep Mat conductive detected responses with precise location coordinates could be stripped by mechanical shovel in order to improve geological understanding with potentially favorable alteration/mineralization associated with the formational horizons and BIF (permit authorization in process and in demand).

      - A till sampling program should be designed and executed to determine the presence of mineralized systems and structures in poorly outcropping areas and swampy areas.

      - IP-Resistivity survey in swampy areas and thick overburden covered areas to determine winter drill targets on potentially mineralized structural systems.

      - Shoreline Geology by boat will be conducted.

      - The southern half of the Property will be covered by an autonomous prospecting team.

      - In Abitibi, gold is almost always found in magnetic lows or flat zones (due to magnetic destruction associated with carbonate alteration, silicification, etc.). Both the Windfall and the Barry deposits are associated with altered dykes represented by magnetic lows. From the interpretation of the MERN (Ministere de l'Energie et des Ressources Naturelles du Quebec) Mag Map we can see several NE-SW oriented structures just like the Maseres-Windfall metallogenic structure zone.

      - It seems entirely possible that the Maseres Property lies along the same folded feature as the Urban-Barry metallogenic structures and therefore an emphasis for prospecting for gold host structures should be planned.

      - Nearby ESE of the Maseres Property, the Mercier complex of REE minerals occurrences have been the site of advanced exploration efforts including diamond drilling with up to 8906 ppm TREO over 2.4 m (including 20770 ppm TREO over 1.28 m) obtained between 2008 and 2011 by Threegold Resources Inc. See attached Urban-Barry Compilation Maps:

      http://www.melkior.com/rch-content/uploads/COMPILATION-MAP-U…

      - With rising prices of Rare Earth Elements (REE) due to the current trade issues between Canada, US and China, it will be primordial to look for REE potential, particularly in quartzo-feldspathic gneisses, pegmatites, amphibolite and granitic gneiss units observed on the Maseres Property of Melkior. A scintillometric survey should be carried out while completing prospection traverses on the Property. Moreover, from compiling and reviewing the assay results from the recent drill campaign, several anomalous (REE) scandium values (up to 2490 ppm Sc) were observed to be associated with mafic geological units and could represent a background to higher concentrations elsewhere on the Property.

Alain-Jean Beauregard, PGeo, has approved the information contained in this release. Mr. Beauregard is the President of Geologica who is providing contract services for Melkior and is a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101

      Melkior Fall 2019 Exploration Program

      August 27, 2019 - TheNewswire -

Timmins, Ontario - Melkior Resources Inc. ("Melkior") (TSXV:MKR) is pleased to announce fall 2019 exploration plan is to advance the Carscallen Project with a drill campaign on the Shenkman, Zam Zam and Jowsey zones and a drill program on the White Lake Narrows (Hemlo) property. The Carscallen property possesses three gold bearing systems known as the Shenkman, Zam Zam /Jowsey zones that are separated by approximately 360 meters that has not been adequately drill tested and thus represents an opportunity for zone expansion and testing if the auriferous vein systems are continuous and represent one larger system.

The first phase of drilling will follow up on historical intercepts of 3.33 g/t Au over 4.5 meters in drillhole CAR-45-2010 within the Zam Zam zone and 14.21 g/t Au over 2.9 meters in drillhole WKD-07-6B within the Shenkman zone. The holes will validate earlier interpretive work and are designed to target several stacked en echelon vein systems.

This initial drill phase will also follow up on earlier intercepts within the mafic volcanics which underly approximately 200 to 300 meters of the Carsallen granodiorite. Here, gold grades and widths may improve significantly as indicated by earlier drill hole CAR-80-2012 which intersected 51.9 g/t Au over 3.7 meters from 533.0 to 536.7 meters within the mafic volcanics (Table 1). A deeper drill hole will be planned as follow up on this intercept to validate continuity of the deeper lying gold system. Positive drill results may allow for a resource estimate by an independent external consulting group to determine the economic potential of all zones drilled to date in the Carscallen project.

The second property of importance is the White Lake Narrows (Hemlo) Property located approximately 22 km east of the Hemlo deposits. The White Lake Narrows property is comprised of a series of northwest southeast trending quartz veins occurring within sheared altered and sulphidized zones hosted within fine to coarse grained mafic volcanics and felsic volcanic rocks. A number of showings, stripped areas and trenches have been exposed over a 1 km strike length and the area has had an extensive humus and partial "B" horizon soil geochemical survey on the southwestern portion of the property.

The most significant stripped exposure to date, known as the Carroll MacDougall showing, consists of a typical lode gold vein system hosted in a shear zone within altered mafic volcanics. The highest grab sample taken on the exposure by the resident OGS geologist in 1994 returned an assay of 1168 g/t Au. Southeast of the Carroll MacDougall there are three additional showings referred to as the stripped area C, trench area D and Green Mica Area. A recommendation to drill the Carroll MacDougall showing, the stripped area C and the Green Mica area have been proposed as Melkior believes these target areas to be "drill ready" based upon the available data.

The programs will be implemented by Mr. Peter Caldbick who has recently joined the Melkior team as a consulting geologist. Mr. Caldbick has been active in exploration and mining for the past 36 years throughout Northern Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland and the Northwest Territories in the positions of VP Exploration, mine geologist, and technical consultant. Mr. Caldbick's career has included VP of Exploration for Golden Chalice Resources, VP of Exploration for Liberty Mines Inc., and Chief Geologist for SGX Resources.

He was directly responsible for building and managing the exploration teams that led to the discovery of Golden Chalice Resources' Langmuir W4 Nickel deposit, Amador Gold Corp's Loveland nickel-copper discovery and Liberty Mine's Hart East nickel deposit. Mr. Caldbick has also consulted in the past for Melkior Resources and is familiar with the Carscallen project. More recently, Mr. Caldbick has consulted for BonTerra Resources Inc., Golden Peak Minerals Inc., Pacton Gold Inc. and Gatling Exploration Inc. He currently sits on the board of directors for Pacton Gold Inc.

Jim Deluce, CEO of Melkior remarks, "We are glad to have Peter on the Melkior team as he brings the expertise required to capitalize on Melkior's assets in this improving gold market. We look forward to keeping investors informed of the fall program developments."
