...die Euphorie ist ja schnell dahin gegleitet, anscheinend auch wieder nur ein Reinfall, über 20% Minus in Kanada. Die Rally der kanadischen Cannabis-Aktien geht allerdings weiter. Nur Choom als einzigste im Minus.

Dies entspräche einem Jahreskonsum von 770.000 bis 1,54 Mio. kg Cannabis (bei einem Marktpreis von $6,50/Gramm). Um diese Mengen produzieren zu können, sind 10 bis 20 Mio. Quadratfuss an Anbaufläche von Nöten (unter Annahme einer Cannabis-Produktion von 77 Gramm pro Quadratfuss). Die durchschnittliche Grösse der aktuell lizenzierten Produzenten liegt bei etwa 60.000 Quadratfuss, sodass insgesamt 167 bis 333 neue Produzenten benötigt werden, um die Nachfrage zu stillen. Dies eröffnet eine signifikante Opportunität für Unternehmen, die Management-Expertise und Ressourcen besitzen, um die finale Genehmigungsstufe zu erreichen.

Keep in mind, come Jan 1 California goes recreational, and that states market by itself is bigger than all of Canada. Look at a map, soon the whole left coast will be legal for rec. Throw in Nevada, (Vegas) and you have a market. With tax reform under Trump taking hold, states down below will be looking for new revenue streams, so more and more they'll be open to cannabis. It's here...and just beginning. Guys like Choom got it right, build a brand right out of the gate. Good things will be happening here soon....

If u have done your dd then u would know that choo is pretty much run by the same crew as inmed , and traded 88-95 on Fri . I believe that they have some loyal shareholders that support them. With what they have learnt along the way with inmed they can apply to choom. I think a license for growing mmj is not too far way,but that's my opinion. They also have a mining Company currently in the pilot project stage with none other than "Chester Millar" the father of heap leaching, Canadian Mining Hall of Fame recipient. Founder of many mid tear producing companies. They seek out the best of the best to make the company grow. Slyder3

CGE is going to be bought out soon, IN will get FDA approval and graduate to the NASDQ in 2018 and CHOO will get their licence sooner rather than later and have a knock out partnering/marketing deal with a leading player in the Okanagan wine industry and its not dumbass stonerstuff but cultured and sophisticated i.e. the difference between beer and fine wine.

It's all part of the big picture, we soon will be at new highs( notice the "s" ,highs) , sure there will be some that take some off the table an so u should ,let's face it investors don't invest to loose money. My prediction is 65-70 until we get the permits and licence,then we should be on our way to a Buck.There surely will be ups and downs but, no need to worry. Med Marijuana stocks are hot at the moment and I suspect will continue til summer. Good luck to longs ,shorters will get caught . Slyder3

..da wird dir keiner was sicheres sagen können. Fest steht, im Moment ist immer noch viel Phantasie drin. Wenn die Lizenz kommt, könnte es ein Verdoppler werden. Habe auch schon an das Verkaufen gedacht, aber wenn es läuft, soll man es nicht aufhalten. In Canada sind sie mehr oder weniger begeistert von Choom.

..ok , Augen zu und durch. Die Branche ist insgesamt noch nicht am Ende. Erst wenn die Amys wirklich ernst machen, was die Gesetze angeht, werden sich nur die 5-10 Großen im Markt durch setzen. Eine Entscheidung diesbezüglich fällt erst im Herbst.

Zwei Cannabis-Unternehmen drehen ihre Motoren, um diese Woche an der Canadian Securities Exchange zu handeln, einschließlich eines Antragstellers, Cannabis im Land kommerziell zu produzieren, und eines diversifizierten Dienstleistungsanbieters für die globale Industrie.

Belgravia muss möglicherweise seinen fairen Anteil an Investor Relations übernehmen, da Details zu dem Unternehmen knapp sind; Internet-Recherchen offenbaren keine offizielle Website und wenig oder keine andere digitale Präsenz.

Denke schon. Gewinne mitnehmen hat noch nie geschadet. War auch im Mittel bei 18Cent. Habe Standard von Anfang an mit begleitet und eigentlich als Depotleiche abgeschrieben. Zwischendrin bei 26 Cents raus und bei 40 Cent Wiedereinstieg und heute zu Tageshoch wieder raus. Aber nur kleine Posi. 1000 Euro in 2 Wochen finde ich ok mit so einer kleinen Bude. Kann ich meinen Bestand bei Endeavour Silver vergrößern....

Ja. War mir schon bekannt. Lese immer mal deinen Nickname in den Kommentaren bei EDR. Schon witzig. Um die Sache hier nicht zu verfehlen... das ganze Cannabis Thema nimmt immer mehr Raum ein und könnte sich durchaus zu einem größeren Industriezweig entwickeln. Möchte aber erst einmal den Rücksetzer hier abwarten für einen Wiedereinstieg. War in der Vergangenheit oft zu gierig oder zu vorsichtig.

Companies with deeper pockets will not be able to plaster the media (both traditional and social) and the countryside with ads, squeezing out smaller brands through sheer volume and force. Rather, according to experts in the industry, the most successful brands could come from smaller, more nimble companies like Choom. Aurora Cannabis Inc. and Choom Holdings Inc. have completed a non-brokered private placement of a debenture in the principal amount of $20-million in Choom by Aurora, convertible into common shares of Choom at a conversion price of $1.25 per common share, with a four-year maturity date. Aurora has also secured the right to acquire up to 40 per cent of the company at $2.75 per common share.

Choom is currently developing a network of retail stores which will feature a curated selection of products from various licensed producers with a strong focus on elevated customer experiences. Choom has secured the rights to 45 retail opportunities across Western Canada, rapidly expanding its commercial presence in highly strategic locations. This includes a total of 45 applications submitted, with 27 development permits and 18 building permits received from the various municipalities. In all cases the retail opportunities are subject to the necessary provincial and municipal government approvals.

With the investment from Aurora, Choom intends to accelerate its sophisticated retail channel expansion in the Canadian adult use market, and is committed to establishing Choom as a dominant national cannabis retail brand.

The offering is an unsecured convertible debenture maturing in four years, convertible into common shares: (i) at the option of Aurora, any time prior to the maturity date at a conversion price of $1.25 per common share, subject to a minimum conversion amount of $5-million, and (ii) at the option of Choom any time after the hold period has expired and the volume-weighted average trading price (VWAP) of the common shares on the Canadian Securities Exchange is $3 or more for a period of 10 consecutive trading days.

The debenture is non-transferable and bears an annual interest rate of 6.5 per cent calculated semi-annually, payable annually in arrears on the anniversary date. Aurora may elect to receive interest payments in common shares in lieu of cash at a price per common share equal to the VWAP of the common shares on the exchange for the 20 trading days ending prior to the date on which such interest payment is due.

The proceeds will be used by Choom for working capital and general corporate purposes.

In connection with the offering, Choom also issued to Aurora, for no additional consideration, 95,760,367 common share purchase warrants at an exercise price of $2.75, subject to adjustments in accordance with the terms thereof, to allow Aurora to increase its pro rata equity interest in Choom to approximately 40 per cent. The warrants are exercisable by Aurora at any time prior to 5 p.m. Vancouver time on Nov. 2, 2020.

All securities issued in connection with the transaction will be subject to a hold period expiring four months and one day after the offering's closing date.

Am 12.09.2019 ist ein weitere Shop dazugekommen.
Ob es "zu wenig" ist, müssen wohl die Zahlen zeigen. Solange sie keinen geschätzten Jahresumsatz nennen, wenn sie einen Laden eröffnen, ist die Einschätzung äußerst schwierig. Möchten sie aber ein gewichtiges Wort mitreden, dann müssten sie noch sehr viel mehr Läden eröffnen. Da ja auch manch Hersteller selbst den einen oder anderen Laden besitzen. Man kann wohl höchstens spekulativ hier einsteigen. Ich bin derzeit weiterhin nur als Beobachter hier. Noch steige ich nicht ein.

Ich komme jetzt auf 10 Geschäfte. Dazu kommen 20 Geschäfte, bei denen keine Öffnungszeiten angegeben werden. Daher vermute ich mal, dass diese noch nicht eröffnet sind. https://choom.ca/retail Aufgrund diverser Eröffnungen ist ein weiterer Umsatzanstieg sehr wahrscheinlich. Ob er allerdings schon ausreicht, damit die MCap gerechtfertigt ist, muss man sehen. Die Zahlen per 30.06.2019 fehlen ja noch.

Unrealistische und viel zu hohe Bewertungen sind wohl tatsächlich erstmal vorbei.
Die Cannabis-Industrie selbst würde ich aber definitiv nicht abschreiben. Da rechne ich weiterhin von Quartal zu Quartal mit steigenden Umsätzen. Insbesondere bei medizinischen Anwendungen werden weiterhin mehr und mehr Länder der Legalisierung zustimmen. Und auch beim Freizeitgebrauch werden weitere Länder folgen. In Puerto Rico ist Cannabis/Hanf zum Beispiel mittlerweile zu einem wichtigen Wirtschaftszweig und Arbeitgeber geworden. Daher würde es mich nicht überraschen, wenn weitere "schwache" Länder der Legalisierung zustimmen, um für Arbeitsplätze, Wirtschaftswachstum und Steuereinnahmen zu sorgen (Südamerika, Osteuropa z.B.).

Ob davon allerdings eine Firma wie Chroom, also ein "Ladenbesitzer" davon profitiert, ist mehr als fraglich.

Nach einem kleinen Zwischenhoch am Jahresanfang geht es wieder zumeist hier weiter bergab. Passend zu den meisten anderen Cannabisaktien. Immerhin haben sie seit dem letzten Beitrag hier im Thread wieder Geschäfte eröffnet. Ob das allerdings ausreicht, damit diese Aktie für ein Investment interessant wird, bleibt abzuwarten.

Sie kommen bei den Eröffnungen weiter voran. Beim Aktienkurs dagegen geht es stets nur Richtung Süden. MCap immerhin, laut stockhouse.com, noch bei 20 Mio. $.

Es wurden zudem am 02.03.2020 Zahlen per 31.12.2019 veröffentlicht.
Revenues Oktober-Dezember 2019 = 1.487.344 $
Nichts, was einem vom Hocker reissen würde. Daher betrachte ich den Kursrückgang auch für gerechtfertigt. Und bleibe weiterhin nur Beobachter.

Choom's Retail and Store Support Centre continued to attract, retain, and enable top talent, dedicated to the success of the Company, and strengthened its talent pool with key new hires in inventory management, central operations, and finance. Choom continued to expand its store performance bonus program, rewarding its store managers and educators for their efforts.

Product :

Choom gained significant efficiencies in its inventory management, decreasing total inventory by 9%, and increasing inventory turns from 5 in 2020 to 15.3 in 2021. These efficiencies were the direct result of the centralization and optimization of its product operations.

Operations :

Die Einnahmen sind ja weiterhin sehr überschaubar. Sie machen weiterhin Verlust und haben kein prall gefülltes Bankkonto. Ein Investment hier sehe ich daher höchstens als sehr spekulative Anlage an. Mit einem mäßigen Chance-/Risikoverhältnis. Der Aktienkurs täuscht auch ein bißchen. Da die MCap immer noch um die 10 Mio. (oder so) beträgt, aufgrund der riesigen Aktienanzahl.
