Lyon County, Nevada, Goes Live with Tyler Technologies’ Eagle Land and Official Records Solution
Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) announced that the Lyon County, Nevada, clerk and recorder offices have successfully gone live with Tyler’s Eagle™ land and official records software solution, including Eagle Self-Service™, an integrated public access solution.
The Lyon County clerk and recorder offices went live after an on-time and on-budget implementation. Tyler’s Eagle solution provides a robust tool for receiving and maintaining recorded documents, including land records such as liens and deeds, and vital records such as birth, death, and marriage records. The clerk office also uses Eagle to track businesses and notaries in the county.
“So much helpful information is now available online and at the fingertips of our constituents, thanks to Tyler’s Eagle solution,” said Dawna Warr, recorder, Lyon County. “By making this information easy to access, it has helped our staff in both the clerk and recorder offices reduce the time spent on helping our community access these documents and instead concentrate on other critical tasks for the county.”
The Eagle software solution is already bringing efficiency to the county. By offering a public interface that is easy to access and easy to use, Lyon County can connect directly with its community and empower its constituents to access critical documents without requiring as many county resources. In addition, the modern system makes it easy to locate documents entirely online.
“The new search capabilities offered through Lyon County’s website are fantastic, and they have helped me to easily find relevant title information,” said Judson Klinger, owner of Datasource, which provides online property information in Nevada. “The interface and advanced functionality that is enabled is a major benefit to title companies and title abstractors looking for county records and helps us do our jobs better.”
“We’re pleased with the smooth implementation of our Eagle solution for the Lyon County clerk and recorder offices,” said Jim Adams, vice president and general manager for Tyler’s records and document solutions. “Our complete tool not only receives and maintains important vital and land records, it also makes the information easily available to staff and the county’s constituents. This will improve efficiency throughout the county and bring greater access to documents.”
Lyon County is located in western Nevada and has a population of more than 52,000. Tyler also provides its Brazos™ e-citation and Munis® enterprise resource planning solutions to the county.
