    South State Bank today announced it plans to open two bank branches in Raleigh, N.C. in 2019.

    The first branch, at 6623 Falls of Neuse Road in Raleigh, will open on Monday, March 25. The second branch opening is planned for the fall of this year.

    “We are excited about our entry into Raleigh, one of the fastest growing regions in the nation,” said Bryan Kennedy, division president of North Carolina and Virginia. “While South State has provided Commercial and Mortgage lending, as well as Private Banking, to Research Triangle residents for several years, we are looking forward to offering South State’s full suite of services to the area, including Consumer Banking, Wealth and Investment Services, in addition to Mortgage and Commercial Lending.”
