Webdyn will present the next generation of WebdynSun for the energy sector at Intersolar Europe, Hall B2 Booth 257, to be held from 15th to 17th of May 2019 in Munich, Germany
St Germain en Laye, France (ots) - The European photovoltaic
market is expected to grow by 10 GW by 2019, an increase of 28% over
2017. In terms of achieving 100 GW globally in 2019, growth in Europe
should continue to accelerate to an estimated 40 GW in 2022.
With the intention to be at the forefront of innovation, Webdyn
continues to excel in research and development. As such, Webdyn is
launching the next generation of WebdynSun, the WebdynSunPM, to be
showcased at Intersolar Europe, Hall B2 Booth 257.

launching the next generation of WebdynSun, the WebdynSunPM, to be
showcased at Intersolar Europe, Hall B2 Booth 257.
The WebdynSunPM gateway monitors and collects data from
photovoltaic installations. From a single box, the gateway shares all
indicators coming from inverters, electricity meters and
environmental sensors (sunshine, temperature, wind, etc.).
Integrated power management
The novel aspect of this generation is undoubtedly its ability to
control actions at the local level using a script interpreter.
A script is the equivalent to a scenario that can be loaded and
run locally on the gateway. All "Power Management" related scenarios
are now open using this new feature: from local data
(inputs/outputs), internal data (time) or from an information system
(operator commands), the network power can be modulated and the
non-injected energy can be stored or consumed.
Ergonomic hardware upgrades
Several changes are planned to make the gateway more ergonomic.
Being manufactured exclusively for the French market, the 3 TIC
connectors are optional (in Modbus slave) for international markets.
The RS485 and ethernet interfaces have been enhanced with 3 RS485
interfaces, on which any protocol can be used, and there are 2
ethernet ports for LAN and/or WAN connections.
The connection to all inputs/outputs now uses unpluggable
connectors making the cabling of peripherals easier. The 4 dry
contact inputs can now be configured as on-off inputs or pulse inputs
(index meter for example).
Enhanced security
Standard secure communication protocols such as MQTTS and SFTP
have now been incorporated to improve performance and security
between the field and all types of information systems.
It can now manage whitelists and blacklists for SMS security. An
innovative new product in line with Webdyn's ambition to offer the
highest performance in meeting the needs of professionals. Philippe
Faugeras, Chairman of Webdyn says: "a new generation of communication
gateways is born. The WebdynSunPM gateway includes all functions of
the WebdynSun but adds a PLC to download and run operator-customised
scenarios on-the-fly. This is the innovation!".
