SG Blocks Announces Vice President of Operations

SG Blocks, Inc. (NASDAQ: SGBX)(“SG Blocks” or the “Company”)—a leading designer, innovator and fabricator of container-based structures—today announced it has appointed Rockey L. Butler as the Company’s new Vice President of Operations.

Butler brings more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of construction to the Company, with a particular expertise in steel-based construction. Based in Texas, Butler is located within SG Blocks’ manufacturing zone. Most recently, Butler served as President / Operations Manager of Business Development and Sales & Customer Relations at JARCO STEEL, INC., where his strategies led to a 20 percent increase in sales. Butler will assist and report directly to Paul Galvin, CEO of SG Blocks and who has assumed the role of chief operating officer of the Company.
