ImmunityBio has developed multiple product candidates that use this hAd5 viral vector to deliver tumor-associated antigens, which are being studied in multiple Phase I and Phase II clinical trials as potential vaccines for the treatment of solid tumors including breast, pancreatic, lung, head and neck, and prostate cancers. Importantly, these hAd5-based vaccines have shown an ability to overcome previous adenovirus immunity in cancer patients and in preclinical models.
