Kirchseeon, 24 May 2022 – HÖRMANN Industries GmbH (corporate bond, WKN: A2TSCH) announces the appointment of Dr. Christian Baur as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with effect from 1 July 2022. Dr. Baur studied mechanical engineering, held various management positions for many years and most recently led the provider of automated logistics solutions Swisslog as CEO.

From 1 July 2022, the management board of HÖRMANN Industries GmbH with CEO Dr. Michael Radke and CFO Johann Schmid-Davis will thus consist of three Managing Directors. Dr. Baur will be responsible for the strategic development of the newly established Intralogistics division and hence also for the integration and restructuring of the former Services division. Through this repositioning, HÖRMANN Industries GmbH wants to leverage the strong market demand for intralogistics solutions and push ahead the company’s growth in the non-automotive sectors. Going forward, the HÖRMANN Group will comprise the four divisions Automotive, Communication, Engineering and Intralogistics.
