Major Drilling announces Kim Keating to become Board Chair; David Tennant to Retire from the Board at the 2022 AGM

MONCTON, New Brunswick, June 27, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Major Drilling Group International Inc. (TSX: MDI), a leading provider of specialized drilling services to the mining sector (“Major Drilling” or the “Company”), today announces that Ms. Kim Keating will be appointed as the next Chair of the Board, effective at the Company’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on September 8, 2022 (the “2022 AGM”), assuming the re-election of Ms. Keating at such meeting. This change is the result of a process initiated by the current Chair, David Tennant, who expressed a desire to retire at the 2022 AGM, and conducted by the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee of the Board.
