Frankfurt am Main, 5 June 2023. DIC Asset AG (“DIC”), ISIN: DE000A1X3XX4, one of Germany’s leading listed property companies, announced that its “Circumflex” logistics centre in the Dutch town of Almelo, one of the country’s logistics hubs, was completed on schedule. Possession, benefits and burdens were already transferred to DIC on 25 April 2023. The property is defined by the green building criteria that were factored into the development of this state-of-the-art logistics centre. Its circular type of construction within the framework of a recycling concept makes it one-of-a-kind in Europe.
“Our acquisition of this high-end logistics property 13 months ago presented an opportunity to successfully launch our previously announced commitment to invest in other European countries. It puts us right on track for our plan to tap further investment opportunities in the interest of our stakeholders, and to demonstrate the creativity, speed and quality of our dynamic performance not just in Germany but also in nearby European countries,” said Sonja Wärntges, CEO of DIC Asset AG.
