Avicanna Announces Changes of Auditors

TORONTO, Aug. 02, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Avicanna Inc. (“Avicanna” or the “Company) (TSX: AVCN) (OTCQX: AVCNF) (FSE: 0NN) a biopharmaceutical company focused on the development, manufacturing, and commercialization of plant-derived cannabinoid-based products announces a change of auditors from Kingston Ross Pasnak LLP (“Former Auditor”) to Ramirez Jimenez International CPAs (“Successor Auditor”) effective August 2, 2024 until the next Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of the Company.

There have been no reservations or modified opinions contained in the Former Auditor’s reports on any of the Company’s audited financial statements; and, there are no reportable events including disagreements, consultations, or unresolved issues as defined in National Instrument 51-102 – Continuous Disclosure Obligations ("NI 51-102") (Part 4.11) between the Company and the Former Auditor, during the period that the Former Auditor acted as the Company’s auditor. In accordance with NI 51-102, the Notice of Change of Auditors, together with the required letters from the Former Auditor and the Successor Auditor, have been reviewed by the audit committee and board of directors and filed on SEDAR+ (www.sedarplus.ca).
