The American Water Charitable Foundation and New Jersey American Water Announce 2025 Hydration Station Grant Recipients - Seite 2

“Through this grant program, we are proud to support schools, community centers and public spaces across our service area by funding the installation of modern bottle filling stations,” said Mark McDonough, President, New Jersey American Water, and Board Member, American Water Charitable Foundation. “These grants encourage people to choose tap water, one of the most affordable and reliable resources available, while also reducing plastic waste and fostering healthier, more sustainable habits.”

Each selected organization will receive funding to purchase a water bottle filling station at a community location, enhancing access to safe, sustainable drinking water for all. The awarded filling stations are expected to be installed in the coming months to benefit residents, visitors, and the environment alike.

This grant is made possible by funding from the American Water Charitable Foundation as part of its State Strategic Impact Grant Program. State Strategic Impact grants support high-impact projects and initiatives throughout American Water’s national footprint.
