Wolfspeed Appoints Five Experienced Directors to its Board
Wolfspeed, Inc. (NYSE: WOLF), a global leader in silicon carbide technologies, today announced that in connection with its emergence from the Chapter 11 process, it has appointed Anthony M. Abate, Mike Bokan, Eric Musser, Hong Q. Hou, and, pending certain regulatory approvals, Aris Bolisay, to its Board of Directors (the “Board”). Anthony M. Abate will succeed Tom Werner as Chairman of the Board. The new Board members will join current Board members, Mark Jensen and Paul Walsh, who will continue in their roles as directors.

Wolfspeed also today announced that in connection with these appointments Tom Werner, Glenda Dorchak, John Hodge, Darren Jackson, Duy-Loan Le, and Marvin Riley have stepped down from the Board.

Mr. Abate is an experienced board director, entrepreneur, and executive with more than four decades of leadership in technology, telecom, and consumer sectors.
Mr. Abate currently serves as chairperson of GTT Communications, a leading global Tier-1 IP network operator, Mitel, a business communications and collaboration service provider, and Tacora Resources, a specialty iron-ore mining company.
