The Real Deal: Mint Mobile Launches 5G Home MINTernet Starting At $30/Month

The Real Deal: Mint Mobile Launches 5G Home MINTernet Starting At $30/Month

To prove how real this deal is, Mint teamed up with the real Tilly Norwood — not the AI actress everyone’s been talking about, but an actual human named Natalie “Tilly” Norwood — to star in the launch campaign.

    Why now?

Because people are over their internet bills. In fact, 66% of internet subscribers say they’re ready to switch providers, and the #1 reason is to score lower rates. People are also ready to ditch their cable providers, who have been luring customers with home internet and wireless bundle offers, but are not providing the level of service to meet their needs. Mint’s answer: skip the gimmicks and just give customers a better price and the premium service — for real.

“People are sick of internet companies treating them like human ATMs,” said Scott Venuti, GM of Home MINTernet at Mint Mobile. “So we did what Mint does best: we made it fast, fair and affordable. Plus, ours is simple to set up and, in most instances, can be set up in under 15 minutes, which is probably faster than your current internet company answers the phone.”

“Mint has brought millions of people relief from big wireless bills while still delivering premium wireless service,” said Mint Mobile’s Ryan Reynolds. “Today we’re bringing that same energy home. Literally. This is not a metaphor. We literally deliver it to your home. Like it shows up and you turn it on and you start getting 5G home internet and saving money.”

    Here’s the Deal (and It’s 100% Real)

Customers can sign up for their first three months of MINTernet for $30/month with a Mint phone plan (upfront payment of $90) or $40/month without a Mint phone plan (upfront payment of $120).

After the intro rate, customers can:

    • Lock in that same low $30/month rate by renewing on a 12-month plan (upfront payment of $360), or
    • Renew on another 3-month plan for just $10 more per month (upfront payment of $120 with a Mint voice plan, $150 without).
