Petsense by Tractor Supply Continues 20Th Anniversary Celebration With Nationwide Fall Adoptathon

Petsense by Tractor Supply, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tractor Supply Company (NASDAQ: TSCO), is continuing its 20^th anniversary celebration with its annual Fall Adoptathon. On Saturday, October 18, stores nationwide will host local animal shelters and rescues to connect thousands of dogs, cats and other small pets with a loving forever home. The event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. local time at all Petsense by Tractor Supply store locations.

On Saturday, October 18, Petsense by Tractor Supply stores nationwide will host local animal shelters and rescues to connect thousands of dogs, cats and other small pets with a loving forever home.

Petsense hosts chainwide adoptathon events during the spring and fall seasons. During the 2025 Spring Adoptathon, 1,118 pets found forever homes. The retailer hopes to surpass that number during the fall event, with the goal of coordinating the adoption of 1,200 animals. Since 2005, Petsense by Tractor Supply has helped rescue over 200,000 animals through its adoption events.

For the first time in the event's history, Petsense will partner with Petfinder, the largest online, searchable database of pets that need homes, to amplify the reach of local shelters and rescues participating in Adoptathon nationwide. Petfinder lists more than 450,000 pets from 14,000 shelters and rescue groups across North America and has helped more than 25 million pets find forever homes since 1996.

Ahead of Adoptathon, Petfinder has launched a unique online experience for prospective pet parents to build adopter profiles, browse adoptable pets in their area and meet their new best friend during the Adoptathon event. Limited quantities of Petfinder Adoption Kits—filled with essential pet care items, expert tips and exclusive offers from Purina—will be available for adoptive pet parents during the event while supplies last.
