Brazilian Enterprises Modernize Supply Chains with AI

Enterprises in Brazil are integrating AI into their supply chain operations to increase efficiency, agility and visibility across production and logistics, according to a new research report published today by Information Services Group (ISG) (Nasdaq: III), a global AI-centered technology research and advisory firm.

The 2025 ISG Provider Lens Supply Chain Services report for Brazil finds that Brazilian organizations are rapidly implementing a range of emerging digital tools, often including generative AI (GenAI), to modernize planning, procurement and logistics processes. This trend reflects a wider effort to integrate traditional supply chain management with integrated digital solutions that enable real-time decision-making and performance optimization.

“Brazilian companies are moving from fragmented supply chain operations to fully digital chain ecosystems,” said Bob Krohn, ISG partner, manufacturing. “They want flexible systems that combine GenAI insights with practical execution to improve responsiveness and reduce costs.”

Companies across Brazil are embedding GenAI into supply chain management to make forecasts more accurate, automate routine workflows and improve inventory control, the report says. These technologies are being applied to areas including demand planning, agile procurement, manufacturing analytics and logistics coordination, helping organizations deliver faster results and more accurate outcomes. As a result, projects are achieving higher implementation success rates and shorter delivery cycles, contributing to measurable operational gains.

The modernization of supply chain operations increasingly requires comprehensive digital road maps that unify traditional strategy with new technology frameworks, ISG says. Enterprises are adopting digital integrated supply chain approaches that provide increased efficiency, deeper insights and better supplier collaboration. This shift has required investments in change management and workforce preparation as organizations work to align their culture and skills with modern tools.

Companies in Brazil have become more focused on circular supply chain practices in the past year, increasing demand for related services, the report says. Local and global events, such as the upcoming COP30 climate change conference in Brazil, contribute to this growing awareness and suppliers’ desire to promote best practices to the market. The convergence of circular supply chain concepts and environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals is adding momentum to this movement. Brazilian enterprises are also implementing transportation management solutions at increasing scale, especially as these platforms become more robust, reliable and integrated with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, ISG says.
