Liberty Defense Announces Contract Award for Multiple HEXWAVE Walkthrough Screening Systems from a U.S. State Capitol Complex
Advanced millimeter-wave & AI screening to support high-throughput entry operations across two government facilities
WILMINGTON, Mass., Nov. 17, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Liberty Defense Holdings Ltd. (“Liberty” or the “Company”) (TSXV: SCAN, OTCQB: LDDFF, FRANKFURT: E30), a leading technology provider of AI-based next generation detection solutions for concealed weapons and threats, today announced it has received a competitive bid award for three (3) HEXWAVE walkthrough screening systems at a U.S. State Capitol complex in the Northeast. The systems will support security screening for officials, employees, and visitors across two high-traffic buildings. The HEXWAVE was selected following a public competitive tender process.
HEXWAVE uses active millimeter-wave imaging and AI to detect a broad range of concealed threats—including metallic and non-metallic items, liquids, gels, powders, ceramics, and other emerging materials—while allowing most everyday items to remain on the person. The system is designed for rapid, contactless, high-throughput screening and integrates with existing security workflows and video/access-control platforms.
“We are excited to win this tender and provide an enhanced level of security to the Capitol Buildings. Public-sector customers are modernizing entry screening to address today’s broader threat profile,” said Bill Frain, CEO of Liberty Defense. “HEXWAVE delivers detection performance for both metallic and non-metallic threats while maintaining throughput and a positive visitor experience.”
To respect customer communications requirements, the purchasing entity is not named in this announcement. No affiliation, endorsement, recommendation, or favoring by any government or governmental agency is stated or implied.
