Billboard and VENU Honor PlaqueBoyMax with ‘Disruptor Award’ at Billboard Power 100 in Los Angeles

The Billboard Disruptor Award, which is inspired by VENU’s Founder, J.W. Roth, for his bold vision of transforming the live entertainment sector, celebrates artists and visionaries who are reshaping the future of music. The 2026 honoree, PlaqueBoyMax, was recognized for reshaping what it looks like to build as an artist today, making the leap from streamer to recording artist while artifully engaging fans in real time. The creation of the breakout track, “Victory Lap,” with Fred again.. and Skepta was a moment that captured the kind of collaboration and storytelling shaping today’s music culture. The track peaked at No. 4 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart and earned both artists a nomination at the 2026 Grammy Awards.
