NEW YORK, Feb. 10, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- At the end of the settlement date of January 30, 2026, short interest in 3,547 Nasdaq Global Market^SM securities totaled 15,574,683,465 shares compared with 15,349,969,813 shares in 3,515 Global Market issues reported for the prior settlement date of January 15, 2026. The January short interest represents 2.58 days compared with 2.88 days for the prior reporting period.

Short interest in 1,666 securities on The Nasdaq Capital Market^SM totaled 3,614,991,067 shares at the end of the settlement date of January 30, 2026, compared with 3,478,325,627 shares in 1,669 securities for the previous reporting period. This represents a 1.08 day average daily volume; the previous reporting period’s figure was 1.19.
