Reliable, High-Speed Internet from Xfinity Coming to Lake County, Florida

Comcast is connecting thousands of unserved homes and businesses in Lake County to multi gigabit, symmetrical Internet from America’s smartest and most reliable converged network. Construction will begin this summer to expand the network to more than 2,900 locations, bringing them high-speed Internet access for the very first time. This project was made possible thanks to a public-private partnership with the state of Florida’s Broadband Opportunity Program and includes locations in and around the communities of Taveres, Astatula, Eustis, and Groveland.

Xfinity brings Internet, mobile, entertainment, and smart home services into one simple, seamless solution – giving customers more speed, savings, and control over their connected lives. Residents can visit Xfinity.com/mytown and enter their addresses for additional details on construction timing and service availability. The project is expected to be completed in Fall 2026.

Comcast’s most recent expansion to Lake County is part of the company’s latest investment in Florida, which also includes expansions to Bradford County, Nassau County, and The Villages, In 2025, Comcast achieved a record-breaking year of growth in Florida by expanding access to more than 120,000 additional homes and businesses across the state.
