(TSX:CCL.A)(TSX:CCL.B) (the "Company"), a world leader in specialty label, security and packaging solutions for global corporations, government institutions, small businesses and consumers, announced today the closing of the acquisition of Sleever International Company SA, its subsidiaries and related companies ("Sleever"), a privately owned manufacturer of shrink sleeve labels, extruded films and application equipment for consumer packaged goods and healthcare customers globally. The new label and film businesses will immediately be renamed CCL Label and Innovia Films respectively, while the application equipment business will retain the Sleever name.
Commenting on the acquisition, Mr. Geoffrey T.
