Intersolar 2013: Goodbye Electricity Tariff - Hello SunSave
- S.A.G. Solarstrom AG presents SunSave, a solar power storage unit of up
to 16 kWh
- Photovoltaic specialists show complete range of services in Hall 6, Booth
190
Freiburg, June 17, 2013. S.A.G. Solarstrom AG (German security
identification number: 702 100, ISIN: DE0007021008) is presenting a new
solar power storage unit with a storage capacity of up to 16 kWh at the
Intersolar Europe 2013 from June 19-21, 2013 in Munich. The innovative
SunSave storage unit with cutting edge lead gel storage technology will be
monitored and controlled online and can also be retrofitted in existing
photovoltaic systems. Owners of single-family homes can thus dissociate
themselves from further increases in electricity tariffs and significantly
increase their own consumption of the electricity produced from
photovoltaic power. S.A.G. is also presenting complete solutions for
investors in the international construction and operation of large-scale
photovoltaic power plants, interesting services for solar plant owners and
new integrated energy concepts using photovoltaic power. S.A.G. Solarstrom
AG is presenting its portfolio in Hall 6, Booth 190.
'Self-sufficiency, detachment from rising electricity tariffs and
independence from conventional energy sources are increasingly becoming the
focus of investment decisions for photovoltaic systems', explains Dr. Karl
Kuhlmann, CEO of S.A.G. Solarstrom AG. 'Today, S.A.G. Solarstrom AG already
offers solutions for more autonomy in power production. The new solar
storage unit SunSave is a good example of this. But we are also developing,
for example, sustainable local energy concepts for development area and
industrial estates using photovoltaic power. In addition to our established
business areas, which include Project Planning and Plant Construction,
Partner Sales, Plant Operation and Services, and Power Production, we see
an interesting market potential in this field'.
Own electricity supply with the SunSave battery storage unit
With the SunSave solar power storage unit, S.A.G. Solarstrom AG is
launching a battery storage system for small rooftop systems on the market.
Single-family home owners can choose from four storage capacities of
between 8 kWh and 16 kWh. The storage unit, based on cutting edge, fully
recyclable lead gel battery technology, is long-lasting and low maintenance
with up to 2,700 load cycles. The system is monitored and controlled online
