- Further rental success in Frankfurt's 'Main Triangel'

Frankfurt, 30 June 2017 - WCM Beteiligungs- und Grundbesitz-AG (WCM AG, ISIN: DE000A1X3X33) has continued with the value-enhancing optimization of the existing portfolio through active asset management. In Frankfurt a significant new lease agreement has been successfully closed through WCM's inhouse asset management - with positive effects on occupancy rate, rental income and the weighted average lease time (WALT).
In Frankfurt's 'MainTriangel' office building a new long-term tenancy agreement for more than 1400 m² has been signed with a term of 7.5 years. As a result, the occupancy rate of the entire property increased to over 90 percent and the annual rental income rose to more than EUR 4.9m. The WALT now stands at 17.6 years. Additional talks with potential new tenants for the 'Main Triangel' are under way.
Furthermore the 'Main Triangel' was certified with the popular LEED GOLD award. This award acknowledges the sustainably built property with its consequently thought through climate- and resources-concept, especially regarding energy- and water-efficiency. The, through the LEED certification, documented environmentally conscious handling of resources and a significantly reduced energy consumption justify an improved value expectation of the 'Main Triangel'. The attractiveness and the marketability of the certified property should also benefit. With this showcase example WCM demonstrates the combination of sustainability and value creation in the commercial property sector.
