Luxembourg, 16 March 2012.  European CleanTech I SE (´ECT I´), the second
Special Purpose Acquisition Company listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange,
confirmed today that it is in talks with shareholders of the Belgian
cleantech company Electrawinds NV about a potential business combination
between ECT I and the Electrawinds group.  The terms and timing are still
under discussion and the parties have not yet entered into definite
agreements.  ECT I will publish further information if and when a final
agreement has been reached.
