Baar, 31 May 2013: The Ordinary Shareholders' Meeting of BIOPETROL
INDUSTRIES AG was held on 29 May 2013. The shareholders adopted all the
resolutions proposed by the Board of Directors as set out in the invitation
to the Ordinary Shareholders' Meeting dated 7 May 2013 (the Invitation),
including:

1. The Approval of the Annual Report 2012, the Financial Statements 2012
and the Consolidated Financial Statements 2012.
2. The compensation of the loss for the 12 months ended 31 December 2012
with available legal reserve and the capital contribution reserve as
proposed in the Invitation.
3. The granting of discharge to the members of the Board of Directors and
Mr. Maarten Roelfs, the CEO & CFO, for the business year 2012.
4. The re-election of Mr. Ernest Mostert, Mr. Roland Pechtold and Mr.
Andreas Hubmann as members of the Board of Directors for a tenure of one
year.
5. The reduction of the nominal value of the shares and amendments of the
Articles of Association as proposed in the Invitation.
6. The ordinary capital increase in the maximum amount of CHF
116'374'327.50, i.e. from CHF 11'637'432.75 to CHF 128'011'760.25 as
proposed in the Invitation.
7. The deletion of the authorized share capital which elapsed on 17 May
2013 and the establishment of new authorized share capital in the par value
of a maximum of CHF 5,818,716.30 and the authorization of the board of
directors to increase the share capital by no later than 29 May 2015 and
the corresponding amendments of the Articles of Association, each as
proposed in the Invitation.
8. The change of public notices of the Company so that public notices of
the Company shall be made solely by publication in the 'Swiss Official
Gazette of Commerce' and the corresponding amendment of article 30 of the
Articles of Association as proposed in the Invitation.

In addition, Deutsche Börse AG has confirmed that the termination of the
inclusion of the Company's shares (WKN: A0HNQ5 / ISIN: CH0023225938) in the
Entry Standard of the Open Market (Freiverkehr) of the Frankfurt Stock
Exchange which was made on 15 May 2013 will become effective as of 26 June
2013. The termination of the inclusion of the Company's bonds (WKN: A0LMF7
/ ISIN: DE000A0LMF75) in the Open Market (Freiverkehr) of the Frankfurt
Stock Exchange will also be effective as of 26 June 2013.
