New Value's Annual Result 2012/13 (as of March 31, 2013)

Baar, June 14, 2013 - In the financial year 2012/13 the focus was on
restructuring the company and the portfolio companies. With the necessary
measures taken the basis has been laid for the targeted implementation of
the value realization strategy.

All the restructuring measures defined for the period under review were
implemented and the company was stabilized. All shares in the portfolio
company Swiss Medical Solution AG were sold and two minor stakes in other
portfolio companies were disposed of. The bridging loans were repaid in
full and liquidity obtained to ensure the continuation of the company.
Operating costs were reduced significantly (-42% compared to the previous
year). In the current financial year 2013/14 it is planned to further
reduce operating costs by 37% compared to the year under review.

In the financial year 2012/13 New Value had to take further losses
primarily as a result of write-downs and impairments in the portfolio
companies. The Net Asset Value (NAV) of New Value as per March 31, 2013
decreased to CHF 9.73 million (previous year CHF 18.33 million).
Accordingly, the NAV per share decreased to CHF 3.11 from CHF 5.90 at the
beginning of the period. New Value recorded in total a loss of CHF 8.65
million in the financial year 2012/13 (previous year loss of CHF 44.1
million). The loss per share amounted to CHF 2.78.

New Value will publish its annual report 2012/13 with detailed information
on year-end results today. The report will only be published on the website
of New Value (www.newvalue.ch/index.php?id=19&L=1) and only in german. The
General Meeting will take place on August 20, 2013.
