iLand TREK winner of ISPO AWARD 2014/2015

Bevaix, January 22nd 2014 (pta019/22.01.2014/10:10) - The iLand Green Technologies SA Board of Directors is pleased to announce that iLand has won another special award: The iLand TREK was chosen by the jury on the occasion of ISPO Munich 2014 January 26th until 29th 2014 http://www.ispo.com/en/ as winner of the Outdoor Segment - category Energy Supply.

Daniele Oppizzi, CEO iLand explains the TREK as follows:"The iLand TREK Solar Kit is a compact, high-power battery with a charge controller interface and multiple connector options. The TREK is designed as an integrated solar kit that weighs less than 2.5 kg, with a roll able, flexible Solar Panel that wraps around the TREK and clips in securely for incredibly easy transportability. It takes up no more room than a sleeping bag and weighs just 2.5kg. The TREK is easily setup within a few minutes. Just prop up the solar panel with the included arms and it's ready to provide power. The TREK is a totally autonomous energy source capable of lighting a camp, working a water pump (20-30L/min), charging a laptop, a radio, GPS, a Smartphone or any other electrical/electronic device. Its technical features provide a multitude of applications outdoor."

The outstanding features of the TREK repeatedly have been demonstrated. In May, the adventurer and mountaineer Jean Troillet http://www.troillet.ch/ will embark on another dangerous expedition to the north, themed by the lines:"Not without my TREK" and he will carry a TREK for the third time. Troillet, who has already climbed 10 eight-thousanders in the Himalayas without oxygen masks and bottles and he was the first to do a removal from the northern flank of Mount Everest on a snowboard, is using the iLand technology on regular basis as well as other well known mountaineers and adventurers.

During the ISPO 2014 the following events will take place: - January 26th - 29th: Daily winner's presentation in hall A2, booth 309. - January 27th, 4 p.m.: ISPO AWARD Ceremony in hall A6, Snow, Ice and Rock summit.
