CLEVELAND, OH--(Marketwired - April 18, 2014) - MCPc, a national technology integrator and consultancy, was awarded the Tech Company of the Year in the Large Company category by the Northeast Ohio Software Association (NEOSA), the Council of Smaller Enterprises' (COSE) Technology Network. NEOSA made the announcement April 17th at the Best of Tech Awards dinner, capping off the NEOSA Tech Week event series.

"We are humbled to receive this award… and honored to be in such a thriving place for technology," said Aaron Marcovy, MCPc's public relations manager, who accepted the award on behalf of the company.

The NEOSA Tech Week event has grown in stature and participation over its brief history, increasing from 515 registered attendees in 2011 to nearly triple that in 2013, with a trajectory to eclipse those figures for 2014.

MCPc won the Large Company category at Tech Week's Best of Tech Awards dinner, and was nominated alongside TOA Technologies and MRI Software. Other categories included Most Promising Start Up, Best Tech Device / Application Innovation, Best IT Services Company, Best Software Product, Tech Team of the Year, and Tech Company of the Year for Small Companies.

Other winners included partners and affiliates of MCPc, including the Cleveland Museum of Art, which won for Tech Team of the Year, and BoxCast, which won for Best Tech Device / Application Innovation.

Mike Trebilcock, chief executive officer of MCPc, was honored to receive the award, saying, "Awesome. This recognition by our peers in our headquarters region is awesome. This reflects how we handle our clients, with best-in-class products and services, and a best-in-class approach and attitude." Trebilcock continued to express his appreciation of the peer-review process, and lauded the substantive impact the organization is making in the Midwest. "We're looking forward to seeing Brad [Nellis] at Game Changers in 2015," Trebilcock said, referring to NEOSA's director, Brad Nellis, and MCPc's annual technology summit, Game Changers.
