Colliers International Appoints Paul Baxter as Chief Operating Officer for Asia

HONG KONG, CHINA--(Marketwired - May 29, 2014) - Colliers International announces that Paul Baxter will take the role of Chief Operating Officer, Asia as of 2 June, 2014. This strategic appointment is an integral part of the company's continued drive to enhance its seamless platform for excellent service delivery and operational efficiency. Paul will focus on operations and strategic initiatives to execute on Colliers' significant growth plans for Asia.

Paul is a seasoned business leader with a history of more than 15 years in the real estate industry. He has worked with many of the world's leading investor and occupier organisations, among them AMP Henderson, GE Capital, Deutsche Bank, Macquarie Bank and ICAP.

As the Chief Operating Officer, Paul will lead all shared services in the Asia region including Research and Advisory, Marketing and Communications, Human Resources/Administration and Information Technology.

Paul has held a number of positions during his prior tenure with Colliers. Paul joined Colliers in 1998 as a member of the Major Projects team in Australia, and played a crucial role in the establishment of Colliers' sustainability and technology practice. He became the General Manager of Business Development and Real Estate Management in Australia before relocating to Singapore to play a leadership role within the Corporate Solutions team there.

Paul will move to Hong Kong from Tokyo, where for the last four years he directed the Corporate Solutions business for CBRE and oversaw the firm's outsourced service businesses, including Transaction Management, Portfolio Management and Facilities Management.
