MS "Deutschland" Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH (MS Deutschland GmbH) informs
about a looming miss to internal 2014 sales targets for the cruise ship M/V
DEUTSCHLAND. According to current status the deviation of sales versus FY14
targets stands at slightly below 6 percent and is caused by inadequate
sales activities in recent weeks.

The analysis of our data shows that the DEUTSCHLAND continues to have high
acceptance levels with existing clients. This leads to a very strong
development of repeater bookings. These are to a significant part already
generated on board and thus are a direct consequence of superior product
quality. However, the strategically important generation of new customers,
which is a core focus of the sales team, develops weaker than expected.
Here new initiatives are required. These are supported by the majority
shareholder of MS Deutschland GmbH.

Former spokesman of the management Christopher Nolde will leave the
executive board and the company by mutual agreement after constructive
collaboration. He will also terminate his management contract with Reederei
Peter Deilmann GmbH. Christopher Nolde was installed as spokesman of the
management by previous majority shareholder AURELIUS AG. The financial
resort remains unchanged with Frank Thueringer.

The management of MS Deutschland GmbH will be supported by a team of sales,
shipping and financial experts provided by Callista Private Equity GmbH &
Co.KG. In this context all restructuring options will be on the table.

The high potential of M/V DEUTSCHLAND shall be developed at increased speed
within the coming months by implementing well-defined sales initiatives.
This requires especially speed, flexibility and innovativeness as well as
further investment into product quality. Thus attractiveness of the M/V
DEUTSCHLAND will be further enhanced during the multi-week dry dock
stop-over planned for late 2014 and already today positively affects
bookings for the coming years.
