SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES Presents New Production Line for Three-Dimensional
Components at Hanover Fair 2015
- Lacquering and vacuum coating integrated into inline process
- Technology presented at the Surface Technology Trade Show in Hanover
- New order for a production line received
Kahl am Main, February 2, 2015 - The SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES AG (SINGULUS
TECHNOLOGIES) will present its new production line DECOLINE II for the
manufacturing and processing of three-dimensional components at this year's
Hanover Fair within the scope of the special exhibition "Surface
Technology".
SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES has developed a new production line, which integrates
the vacuum metalization as well as all lacquering and pre-processing steps
in a production process and which automatically transports the parts.
With the optimized coating technology the DECOLINE II substantially
differentiates itself from traditional coating processes and thus meets all
the requirements to revolutionize the conventional products processing of
plastic, glass and metal components. Amongst others, the line concept is
applicable for the packaging industry (cosmetics, bottle caps), household
appliances (oven knobs, control elements, consumer electronics (smart phone
devices, MP3-players), interior and exterior car parts, the lighting
industry (reflectors, mirrors) as well as two- and three-dimensional
components of various kinds.
Dr.-Ing. Stefan Rinck, CEO of SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES AG, comments: "This new
solution for the finishing of three-dimensional components is almost
unique. It results in considerable cost savings and simplifies logistics.
With our new DECOLINE II we offer the industry a cleaner process and
substantial advantages to simplify the production processes."
The vacuum cathode sputtering is a fast and reliable method. In contrast to
the batch production of vaporization techniques, this solution automates
the manufacturing process and with its short cycle times and timely quality
controls reduces the production costs significantly. Through the use of
UV-lacquers and the ability to recycle these, the output of
environmentally-burdening emissions is minimized.
An essential step for the economic production is the take-up of components,
