On May 12, 2014, the Company announced that on May 2, 2014, the Securities and Exchange Commission informed Bridgepoint that a reassessment was required under accounting principles generally accepted in the United States.

Following this news, the Company's stock declined $1.41 per share, or nearly 9%, to close at $14.51 per share on May 12, 2014.

On May 30, 2014, the Company announced that the financial statements filed for the years ended December 31, 2011 and December 31, 2012, as well as financial statements filed for the quarters ended March 31, 2012, June 30, 2012 and September 30, 2012 should not be relied upon.
