Joachim Wimmers, the CFO of First Sensor AG, will leave the company at his
own request as of 31 March 2015

- The CFO's sphere of ownership will be provisionally managed by Dr.
Martin U. Schefter (CEO) as of the same date

Berlin, 3 March 2015 - Joachim Wimmers has served as Chief Financial Office
of First Sensor AG since March 2012, being responsible for the areas of
finance, management accounting, purchasing, human resources, and IT, among
others. He definitively contributed to the integration of the various
member companies, which initially operated largely autonomously from one
another, organised a complete re-financing of the Group, and realised
substantial cost savings for the Group. He was also instrumental in shaping
the successful strategic realignment of First Sensor AG.

"The efforts of Joachim Wimmers have clearly enhanced the competitiveness
of the Group," said the company's CEO, Dr. Martin U. Schefter. Joachim
Wimmers is leaving First Sensor AG at his own request in order to take on
new challenges outside the Group. Until his successor to the board has been
appointed, his sphere of ownership will be provisionally managed by Dr.
Martin U. Schefter.

The members of the board and the board's chairman, Dr. Schefter, have
seized the opportunity to thank Joachim Wimmers for his high sense of
personal commitment and his loyal collaboration over three prosperous
years.
