Okta for Developers: Okta also unveiled in November its Developer Edition, a fully productized version of the company's proven APIs that gives app developers, enterprise developers and ISVs an easy way to build identity components directly into web or mobile applications. Developer Edition allows developers to build more secure cloud applications and accelerate adoption of those services within enterprises. Customers include Adobe Systems, Advent Software, Informatica, Rotary International and ServiceSource.

400+ Employees Worldwide: Okta nearly doubled headcount in FY2015, now with 400+ employees worldwide. Key hires in 2014 include Angela Grady, vice president of operations, Graham Pearson, regional vice president for Asia Pacific, and Jonathan Runyan, general counsel.

$155 Million in Funding: Okta secured its Series E round of funding for $75 million in June.
