TOM TAILOR GROUP expands the distribution network of BONITA to
vertical wholesale

Hamburg, 8 September 2015. The TOM TAILOR GROUP opens up a further
distribution channel for its umbrella brand BONITA: The collections for the
target groups 40+ will as of immediately, also be distributed over the
vertical wholesale - in the form of a concession- or consignment-model. The
new wholesale areas will be completely managed by the Group. Therefore the
focus of verticalization will be further enforced within the scope of the
business alignment. With this strategic step the company is expanding its
growth areas and intends to gain market shares simultaneously.


"The distribution of the BONITA brand over the wholesale channel offers us
lucrative opportunities to continue to grow with our partners and to reach
new customers in the best-ager segment. We simultaneously increase the
availability of our brands in a very attractive environment for us," says
Udo Greiser, General Manager of BONITA GmbH. "We will operate all wholesale
areas exclusively vertically, in order to be able to completely control our
goods management. For this we will use the logic of our successful retail
formats," added Greiser.


Each BONITA shop-in-shop will have an average selling area of around
70m².Our product coordination and product presentation will be controlled
from the BONITA headquarter in Hamminkeln. The supervision of the wholesale
partners will take place at the TOM TAILOR GROUP headquarter in Hamburg,
together with the customer service and all expansion activities.


The first BONITA shop-in-shop has opened at Modepark Röther in
Schwäbisch-Gmünd. A second shop-in-shop is planned for mid-September with
Nessler in Ahrensburg. By the end of the year a total of seven
shop-in-shops will follow in Germany.

these comprised 405 TOM TAILOR stores, 209 franchise stores, 2,762
shop-in-shops and around 9,800 multi-label points of sale. Therewith the
brand is present in 35 countries.

BONITA operates 1,018 retail stores of which 85 are BONITA men stores, as
well as one shop-in-shop area since September 2015.

Furthermore, the collections of both brands are available over the
respective online stores.
