NORMA Group receives major order from German car manufacturer

Maintal, Germany, 2 October 2015 - NORMA Group, a global market leader in
engineered joining technology, has received a major order from a German car
manufacturer. Beginning in 2017, NORMA Group will annually manufacture in
Europe up to 28 million joining products and thus equip several million
vehicles worldwide by the year 2027. The contract includes NORMAQUICK PS3
quick connectors and NORMAPLAST SV hose and pipe connectors in the nominal
sizes 6 to 32 millimeters which are used in the vehicle cooling systems.

weight-reduced products help lower emissions by reducing the total weight
of vehicles and, in turn, reducing fuel consumption."

NORMAQUICK PS3 quick connectors made of recyclable materials connect
heating and cooling lines and charge-air systems. The compact design of the
connector allows for it to be used even where mounting conditions are tight
and enable quick installation. Thanks to the integrated mounting bracket,
PS3 quick connectors can be installed and removed without the use of tools.
Assembly also can take place during fully automated processes. An
integrated gasket ensures the proper tightness.

NORMAPLAST SV hose and pipe connectors connect plastic pipes such as PA6
and PA12 pipes. They are made of black polyamide 6 or polyamide 12 with 30
percent glass fibers and can be supplied with O-rings.
