PANTALEON Makes First Sale to China

- In-House Comedy "The NANNY" to Release in China 2016 -

Kronberg im Taunus, December 1, 2015 - PANTALEON Entertainment AG
(XETRA:PAL, ISIN: DE000A12UPJ7) in-house production THE NANNY, which sold
1.65 million tickets at the German box office alone this year, is also
attracting great interest internationally. PANTALEON is proud to report a
groundbreaking sale to China, inked at the American Film Market in Los
Angeles, making THE NANNY the first PANTALEON title to sell to China.

"This deal is a consistent confirmation of our strategy of specifically
targeting Asian markets. The potential audience there is gigantic, the
cultural similarities are often much greater than you'd expect," says
PANTALEON CEO Dan Maag. "That's why, the sale of the film rights to China
is of such strategic importance to PANTALEON."

China is the fastest-growing movie market in the world. Within the last ten
years, the number of screens in China has grown to 25,000. At this rate,
China will overtake the USA to become the world's biggest movie market by
2020.
