NORMA Group supports scholarship recipients at the University of Applied
Sciences in Darmstadt

Maintal/Darmstadt, Germany, 10 February 2016 - NORMA Group, a global market
leader in engineered joining technology, has been supporting three students
of the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt since the winter
semester 2015/2016 by offering a Deutschlandstipendium, a scholarship
programme for students at German universities. This support will be offered
for three years and marks the beginning of cooperation between NORMA Group
and the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt.

The three young professionals are taking courses in the fields of
mechanical and electrical engineering. In addition to offering this
financial support, NORMA Group will also be including the scholarship
recipients in the company. For example, these students will be invited to
go on tours of the plant and attend events focusing on innovation. Based on
this, the MDAX-listed company will be offering the young graduates
internships and opportunities to write theses.

"It is important to us to support future talents early on," explains Werner
Deggim, CEO of NORMA Group. "As a technology leader, we continuously invest
in our own innovative strength and want young people to be able to share in
our broad expertise. For this reason, our commitment to these German
scholarships extends well beyond merely providing financial support."

With the Deutschlandstipendium, the Federal Ministry of Education and
Research has been supporting students and university entrants whose career
paths indicate outstanding achievements in studies and at work since 2011.
The federal government and private donors are each providing 300 euros per
month for a scholarship recipient. The government projects that two percent
of the students at German universities will be participants in the German
Scholarship Programme by 2017.
