Leclanché SA enlarges Management Team
Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland, 19 February 2013 - Leclanché S.A. (SIX
Swiss Exchange: LECN), specialized in the production of large-format
lithium-ion cells and energy storage solutions, announced today that
Fabrizio Marzolini will join the Management Team of Leclanché SA, with
immediate effect. Mr. Marzolini, who started with the company in 1994, is
responsible for the development of portable and stationary storage systems,
with teams reporting to him both in Yverdon and Willstätt.
The company also announces that Talisman Infrastructure Ventures LLP, who
has recently been appointed to support the company´s development and
strategic objectives during the current turnaround process, will assist and
report directly to the Board of Directors, while working closely and in
agreement with the Management Team.
Talisman was appointed on February 7, 2013 by the Board of directors as
advisors for a turnaround plan, which aims at reducing costs by
streamlining the organisation, strengthening key management functions,
particularly in sales and production and applying a stronger focus on ´go
to market´ processes for Leclanché´s Lithium-ion storage systems, while
establishing key alliances to accelerate the market capture for Leclanché´s
products. In addition, the plan calls for maximizing the contribution from
existing businesses.
