According to provisional figures, SinnerSchrader has achieved net revenue
which is likely to be around 11.2 million euros - almost 3 million euros
more than in the previous year - in the second quarter of 2013/2014 (1
December 2013 to 28 February 2014). SinnerSchrader thus achieved an
increase in revenue of 35 per cent over the previous year in the second
quarter, with all of the growth being generated organically.
The operating result in the second quarter is likely to amount to more than
0.8 million euros. In contrast, SinnerSchrader had to report a loss of 0.4
million euros in the same quarter of the previous year. The NEXT AUDIENCE
GmbH initial costs were still at around 0.4 million euros in the second
quarter of 2013/2014. As announced, the development of the first release of
the NEXT AUDIENCE platform was completed at the end of January 2014. The
newly developed software for audience management is currently being
implemented at the first pilot clients.
The unexpectedly strong growth dynamism is based on brisk business with new
clients and considerable growth in individual relationships with major
existing clients. In this sense, SinnerSchrader has for example been
responsible for the entire digital interface of Unitymedia KabelBW since
September 2013, and has realised the unique "CURVED" content platform for
the E-Plus Group. The platform went online at the beginning of February and
is the first of its kind in Germany.
The considerable demand and a positive success rate for SinnerSchrader in
converting enquiries into orders is documented by the 34 new clients gained
since the beginning of the financial year. The new clients in the Group
accounted for revenue of 1.9 million euros as early as in the second
quarter of 2013/2014. These new clients include Beck's Brewery in Bremen, a
subsidiary of the globally operating Anheuser-Busch InBev Group, the Swiss
premium department store brand Globus, the chain of chemist shops Müller,
an international logistics service organisation, a DAX-listed financial
service provider and a leading German publishing and media company. In
February SinnerSchrader also reported an order from the automobile
industry, which was the biggest individual order received so far in the
history of the Company.
